Above Alexandra and Daddy - Picture taken June 2008

Above My Neily!

My Background and History -

Hello - I am 25 years old and from the UK. I live with my fiancee of 9 years and little girl, Alexandra who is two.I got pregnant with at 22, and I had a coil fitted internally, so my pregnancy was a bit of a surprise. At about 5 weeks pregnant I was rushed to hospital having period like cramping pains, after an examination the doctor removed my coil which was slowly pushing its way out of my body, hence the pain. He told me to go home and rest, but he thought I would probably miscarry over the weekend.Well the weekend came and went and there was no sign of any blood or any pain, on the monday I returned to the hospital where I had blood tests and an ultrasound. The ultrasound did not pick up on anything so I was sent away and asked to return for another scan 2 weeks later. I returned for my scan and laid on the bed, the sonographer put the jelly stuff on my stomach and after a long 5 minutes she turned the screen on the monitor to me and Neil. There it was on the screen a tiny dot, but it was beating. The sonographer explained that the beating was the heartbeat. Our little baby was there and its heart was beating, against all odds it was fighting for life.

Fast forward 9 months ...

I started in slow labour on the wednesday, and had my daughter in the hospital on the Saturday. I was in established labour for 15 hours, and once I was fully dilated t took me 28 minutes to push her out. I had gas and air and pethidine for the pain. When I got to 8 cms dilated I asked for an epidural which was administered but did not have chance to take effect because I had her soon after. After 9 months and a very happy, healthy pregnancy I gave birth to Alexandra on my due date the 4th February 2006 at 7.28am. She weighed 7lbs and 14ozs, and was totally perfect.

I am now pregnant again with my second child, and thought It would be nice to post pictures on here and a diary of my pregnancy over the weeks, I also would like to meet other people who are pregnant or trying to concieve.Baby dust and happiness to you all. I hope that this message finds you healthy and happy - wherever you are in the world! We are emigrating to Australia this year aswel so Im not only busy being pregnant but Im busy selling all our stuff for the big move!

WE ARE HAVING A BABY GIRL

Went for our 20 week scan today, and sonographer said he thought I was carrying a baby girl. Neil and I are over the moon... smiling from ear to ear. So pleased our little one is growing well, and a little sister for Alexandra. Wonderful day, wonderful news xxxx

Hey hun, guess what.. I am having a BOY after all :) We saw his little penis yesterday at the u/s appointment. I was a little shocked at first, mostly because of all the pink stuff, I had already bought. BUT, I am very happy now about my little boy :) I saw his cute little face on the screen and we also got some pictures to take home. He just looks like me when I was a baby :) What a darling :)

All the best for you and wishing you a wonderful and easy birth, whenever the baby is ready :)

I will let you know how everything goes. The closer it gets to my due date the more I worry about it.
I did end up getting my breast pump. I got the medela pump in style. I want to try and breast feed for at least 6 months and I will be returning to work full-time after 3 months so I figure I will be getting a lot of use out of it.
Sorry to hear you wern't feeling well, I have days like that too where I feel awful and other days that I feel really good.
Take care talk to ya later
Renee

I can just imagine how difficult and heavy you must feel by now. I have a friend, she's now 32wks pregnant. She told me that it aches and pains everywhere - all over her body and that she is more than ready now to skip the coming few weeks... More a joke, of course. I don't think she would really want to have her little girl stay within an incubator the first days or weeks of her life...

I myself am doing better than ever :) Its sooo LOVELY to feel my little angel now all the time :) She is still very gentle when she moves but am sure, soon she will get much more forceful when she kicks mummy:)

Wishing you and all of your loved ones a SMASHING day!!!

Love Temi xxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxx

Thank you sweetheart will do!

I am so glad to hear that everything is well with you, Eden was 3/5th's engaged at the same time and at birth she went really high, wtf!! hehe
I hope you don't go over, it is sheer hell, I hated every minute, I just wanted to hold her, I had contractions from week 35 and as I got closer they were ten minutes apart and kept me awake at night, they were sore! I hope you only don't have the same problem.
I will get through this, with love and support of my friends and family, I just don't have any family around me, which is really hard, and Shayne's mum is so fixated on herself, she just doesn't want to know, anyway, thanks for being a friend, I love you Gina

Wow, it sounds like you have a big task at hand but you also seem very organised. I hope it all goes to plan and Alex adjusts quickly.
Jayden has been waking up briefly over the past few nights just wanting his dummy so I've been up and down with my sleep. I hope he settles back to sleeping all the way through soon
I'm off to bed, so I will TTYL...xxx

Hey hun
Thanks for understanding, my husband doesn't seem to think it's a big deal at all. Oh well, I'm sure it will all work out.
I hear ya I feel like I get bigger and bigger everyday I hope that the weight gain will slow down soon
Tomorrow its off to pick up my breastpump. Hope you have a good weekend.
Take care
Renee

Hiya
I am doing good!! I am excited to have our baby I can't wait. I am a little nervous/anxious though because we have some of my husbands friends who are staying with us who just moved out here. It is his friend and wife and there two boys who are 5 and 3. They are staying in one of our spare rooms and there boys are staying in the nursery. My husband and I didn't tell them a specific day they needed to move out so I'm really hoping they will have an apartment before the baby comes. The other issue is we have a bunch of family coming to stay with us when the baby is born so I don't know where everyone would stay if they are still here. Sorry to go on and on it is just stressful. Anyways everything else is going great I feel like I am ready. How have you and the family been?

my7thbabyduemay20th2008 - Friday, 18 July
Hiya gorgeous!
Sorry I haven't been on much hun, and thanks for the lovely comments you have been sending my way.
I have been suffering from PND as Eden has severe reflux and I have her in my arms constantly, it has been a real battle, and I think even saint would have a breaking point, and I have reached mine. The doctor changed the meds Eden is on and now she is sleeping better, this has just happened in the last two days. Last night she slept for 7 hours! I couldn't believe it! So hopefully that is the taste of things to come.
How are you? Only six weeks to go or less by the looks, how are you feeling?
And how is little Alexandra?
xxxx
