I guess t's time to update my profile! On 5/28/2008, a mere 2 hours and 39 minutes after our 2nd wedding anniversary. Dillon Alexander Dugan was born! It's true what they say about the pain and experience...it does seem to fade away as soon as your child is born! (Check out the birth story! OUCH!) Our life since having Dillon has been full of new and exciting things! The amazing feeling you have when your child makes a new facial expression, or when he poops after being constipated for 3 days, or the first time he turns his head toward you because he recognizes your voice! But nothing can compare to that first second when your first child arrives into this world and your heart opens up this whole new place that you never knew existed! When I found Dan, my husband and love of my life, I didn't think I could love anyone or anything more than I love him. And then, in a second, this amazing amount of love fills you up and you realize that every piece of your heart is full! I look at my life everyday and am amazed that it is MY life. I am so amazingly fortunate and unbelievably in awe of how my little man has changed my life in such a short amount of time! I'm so much more than I was before...so much more than I thought I ever would be...because I have 2 amazing men in my life that love me and that I love with all that I am...my Husband Dan and our miracle Dillon!

1/14/08 UPDATE!!!
IT'S A BOY!!! It has been such an amazing day! We had the chance to see our healthy little boy! Dan threw up his hands like he had just won the baby lottery when she said BOY! I can't believe how blessed we are! I will never forget this day!

HDugan I work in retail too. I understand what you are going through. I work in a childrens store which makes it worse because I see moms all day..I have to hear them give my advice that I didn't ask for or want...and when they find out it's my 1st baby they always say you will see. It maybe my 1st baby but I'm not stupid and I lived with my sister after she had both of her kids so I'm not baby stupid either. Why can't these women just say congrats and good luck then go about there business? Oh btw cafepress has some really cute shirts..you should check it out.

hah i was a size 12, and being pregnant im a 14 or 16. but theyre soooo saggy on my butt and thighs! hahh. shes measuring about 2 weeks ahead. i guess i havent gained any on me. but i feel ugh. i dunno. i feel like i need to go punch a random person in the face and cry til i fall asleep

My dr. finally gave me something for this sinus thing that I have had for almost 2-months. I have gagged and thrown up all week-end on this drainage, but still gained 3 pounds. So weird. My hubby will be gone most of the week because he has gigs. We need the money so I'm trying to smile about it. He works a full-time job during the day and then plays music when he can. Some months he has no gigs and then others he has them all the time. They always increase when the weather starts getting warm.

They gave me a zpac (antibotics). That helped clear it up. I still he a cough, but not like it was. I know what you mean about sounding like you smoked for 30 years.When I cough I sound like my mom who has smoked for 40 years.

I know what you mean about the couging and nose blowing. I had pneumonia a week or so ago and joked that when my baby is brn and fusses that will hav to coughto calm her down. Thats probably the only sound that she will be familiar with. My doctor said it was good to grab and support the belly while coughing to prevent pulling any muscles or ligaments that are already stretching due to pregnancy.

I know what you mean about 'The Lion King'. I've always wanted to see the broadway version, because even the cartoon movie makes me cry several times throughout. I try and avoid it whenever I'm pregnant. In fact, the end of Beauty and the Beast got me the last time I watched it. :-)

my brother got married last summer, and since then, it seems like she wants all the attention. every little thing someone does, it has to revolve around her. she tried to make my dad not want to move because of her eight an hr job, even tho it would save my parents like 1000 bucks a month. what a bitch. i cant stand her. my dad isnt home enough to see what goes on, but when he sees it he gets so pissed at her. she expects me to run her family seven 1/2 months preg? screw that. we wouldnt have another apt, but it would be with his mom, who is a god lol. shes amazing. but were in cali, and shes in ohio. we dont have the money to get there. we would only be able to take his car, cus my car is under my parents name, and they wouldnt give it to me. so, we couldnt bring our bed, clothes, or any of olivias stuff. im SOOOO stressed. ughh

yeah, we moved back in with my parents in feb, but im so sick of my mom threatening to kick us out. shes going thru menopause, and its getting worse and worse. i barely see her because my hubby and i have 2 rooms, and ones our living room, and she threatens to kick us out even before ive seen her. then id walk out to the kitchen and talk to me like everything was perfect. this happens like twice a day. then out of no where when i was cooking some soup, didnt talk to her at all, she said when we move you have to help out around here. too bad i already do her laundry, clean the kitchen, and cook. she does things so i have to do them. like, she'll put her clothes in the washer, wash them, but leave them in there so i have to finish it for her in order to do mine. and she'll leave her garbage and dirty dishes on the counter and in the way, and i have to clean it up if i want to make anything. im so sick of it!

HA HA! Yeah I've already told Wayne that it's best he's not here right now!! The hair is just too bad! And you're right it will grow... eventually!! OMG I'm having another crisis today though! This morning one of my boobs felt a little strange and then I noticed just a small amount of leakage... then today while I was at the shops it was weird and kinda itchy/tingly/wierd!! My sister said that that's how she remembers it feeling when her milk came in but that it didn't happen for her until after the baby was born!!! 30 weeks is surely too early!! I have a midwives appointment tuesday so I'm going to ask her then!

WOW! Cute cute cute!! It's so amazing seeing those photos!

The hair on the other hand... really only amazing how bad it is!! I even tried straightening it this morning in hopes that would help... it was a slight improvement but you can see every bad cut she made! I may have to go back during the week and get someone to fix it up a bit!! I hope you're right about the growth... hearing you have gone through the same thing has eased my mind!! My finger nails are going like crazy - hopefully the hair will too!!

As for Wayne - No news yet! I think it will come pretty close to the end! Last week they asked me to find two Australians willing to testify to our relationship, luckily it could be my Mum and Dad. It was so crazy! At first I thought it would be easy because we had lots of Aussie friends in the UK and a few here too... BUT they wanted two people that knew us both, were currently living in Australia and would be both contactable and remain in the country for possibly the next TWO years!! I couldn't ask any of our friends that! Even the ones that have also returned form the UK! What if they did want to travel??? I got so mad at the stupid woman I was speaking to on the phone!! This process is ridiculous!

so i got back about 5 mins ago. oh my god. you wouldnt believe it! i called today, and they had 9 left. i called before we left, and they said they had 3! so we hurried down there, and there was seven. we got it, stood in line, and the people DIRECTLY in front of us were getting the SAME crib. i looked to my right, AND OMG! THEY WERE GETTING THE SAME CRIB TOO! there was a man and woman standing next to the door, WITH THE SAME CRIB! im SOOOO glad i got there when i did! it was insane! it was ikea..freakin ikea.

thanks, i ave my good moments and bad moments. as long as i dont stayon my feet forvery long and take my pain med aroun the clock, do ok and can function. there is hardly a day that goe by now that i dont end up crying from the pain. i just want to do whats best for my little man-need to keep him in aslong as i can! lol

hah. yeah, my hubby will do the EXACT same thing. and then ill say something and he'll completely flip out on me. so i realllly wanted this crib, and they said they had it in stock, so we drove an hr and a half to get there, they DIDNT have it, and they didnt know when they would have it again. so we called a week later, and they said it was discontinued. it was the most perfect crib id seen for the price. so they said call in a few days to see if theyll have it or if its officially been discontinued. so we called a week later, and they said itll be about 2 weeks til its in. but we called today, and they had 9 in stock! so we were going to go tomorrow morning after my filling. and then i called 10 mins ago, and they have 3 left! they close in 2 hours, so my dad is driving me up there to get it tonight since hubs is at work. i swear, if they dont have any, im going to make a scene hahh

oh thank you...i know what you mean...i totally cleaned my kitchen yesterday and now i still am not walking quite normal!!! lol...i know those 3d/4d sonos are worth every single penny!!!
