Well here preschool is completely optional. I put Mason in it due to him being behind. There is a 3 year old program and 4 year old program. Than its Kindergarten.

Senior Kindergarten?? Thats a new one on me. Mason is in a regular class too at the moment. But I am a little concerned about his behavior. I am actually wondering how long its gonna take for the teacher to start pushing the issue of moving him into a behavioral unit :(

Masons neurologist last week just brought up the notion of ADD, but not ADHD. I just don't know....lol But he is having some issues with his behavior at school.
Do you have Gavin in a special class or regular?

Oh i hope and pray for you sake that it does go ahead when he is 6. It sucks that I have no prognosis or date to shoot for. How is your lil man doin in school?
Mason is doing pretty well right now actually. He really likes school but now is neurologist is trying to zero in on his behavioral problems. Does your son have many of those??

What else goes on with this Dravets syndrome? i have never heard of it.

Thats weird cause Mason was also about 4 months. What was he doing for you to realize that he was seizing that little?

My neurologist said behavioral issues accompany epilepsy about 90 percent of the time. Mason does not have ADHD, but he has been diagnosed with an anxiety disorder and panic attacks. Hos is Gavin as far as developmental/speech delays?

Mason will be 5 in a month. He has complex partial seizures and tonic-clonic/grand mal seizures. He started having them when he was a baby. He has gone over the expectations of the doctors. They have not been able to diagnose him with anything. The doctors have pretty much narrowed it down to his birth and him being hypoxic. He has a VNS stimulator right now and takes 3 medications. He has some developmental delays and language delays, but has come leaps and bounds. It nice to talk to someone who is on the same boat as me. When did he start having seizures??

He is great, Nothing has happen since and I have stopped stressing about it... but I just keep an eye out for it now...you know!! His doctor says he cant do any thing til he has had 2 seperate episodes.. but I think he is fine..hopefully... Did yoour baby ever had sezures

hey girl, how are you? My son is only 5 months and thursday he might of had a seizure but not sure!! I was feeding him and he fell asleep then his head and his arms started shaking for about 15 sec very mild though... He stayed asleep then i noticed his feet and hands were twicthing... Do you think this was a seizure? thanx for letting me share i am sooo worried
