Me & Curtis. 26 weeks pregnant :)

03-12-07~

Hello! This is my first post, I am new here! :) Exciting news, I FINALLY turned 13 weeks on Friday the 9th. I am soooo excited, and finally so relieved. I never had any problems during the first trimester...like spotting, but I was horribly concerned about having a miscarriage...even though I've never had one of those either. During my first 12 weeks, I had HORRIBLE morning sickness...I mean, completely sick, all day...for 5 weeks. I had to get put on Phenegren...it helped, but just made me sleepy...Anyways, me and Curtis, are VERY excited to have our first baby! We have been together for about 5 years now...I'm sure we'll be getting married very very soon...just after the baby, because I don't have the time OR energy to plan a wedding right now! I'm due on Sept. 14th, and would love to talk to anybody else that is due around the same time as me.

I go for the "big" ultrasound on May 7th. I feel like that is FOREVER away, but hopefully it will go by fast, because it's getting warmer, and I can get out of the house! My next appointment is on March 26th. My 15/16 week appointment!! I'll let you know how it goes!

March 23 2007...

Helloooo! Yay! I'm finally 15 weeks, almost time to start showing :) I'm showing a little...and I STILL haven't replaced my digital camera :( Getting annoyed! Anyways. I feel GREAT :) No more sickness...just a headache every once in a while. Nothing I can't handle. I feel like I have been gaining weight like crazy. I lost quite a few lbs. first trimester though, so that's alright :) I've been craving grilled cheese, and I loooove me some Kool-aid :) Yum. Go to the Dr. on Monday morning...so I'll update more then...but for now, have a great weekend! Me & the BF are going to watch Blood Diamond tonight! Hopefully some cuddling :) I'll update after my appt. on Monday! Oh, by the way...I think I'm feeling baby movements :) Is it too early? or no?

March 26, 2007...

Yay for me :) Had my appointment today. Heard my little babys hear beat!! Looooved it as always :) BUUUT...I feel like I made a STUPID choice today. I chose to get the AFP test done. I don't know why...I'll just be worrying for a week :( I'm sure everything will be FINE...& once I find out everything is FINE, I can just enjoy my pregnancy :) So please pray for me and my bean!! Other than that, I go back on April 23rd, and thennnnn the Ultrasound on May 7th! It's getting closer...thank god, I am getting SO impatient. Anyways, Hope everybody is well...I'll let you know if the OB calls, if not, I'll be out enjoying the weather!

April 6, 2007.

OMG. My computer broke on Monday. Talk about the LONGEST week EVER :) Well I feel my little bean squirming now. It's sooo wonderful! Daddy is feeling sad that he can't feel it yet, but soon enough I'm sure! I've been eating a LOT lately...still. Oops. The Doc. never called about my AFP results, so no news is great news :) They told me they'd only call if there was a problem...so looks like the bean is okay!!! Finally 17 weeks preggo..and suuure feeling like it. I'm getting back pain and headaches now. blah. I love my little bump...the pants are juuuust about donzo. so I'll have to invest in some "panel pants" as my mom calls them lol. Well...that's an update! I go back for my appt. on April 26th. Happy Easter everybody!

April 16, 2007.

Hola! 18 weeks down, only 22 to go!!! I swear I have to pee all the freakin' time. Wasn't that supposed to go away in the 2nd trimester? I don't mind though. I've been taking Flinstones vitamins, but noooow I'm back on the prenatals. I'm hoping it will make my hair shiny lol...and help the baby get a little bigger, which in turn, will make my tummy bigger! I'm not really showing that much, but hopefully soon...I thought this week for sure I would pop...but the week isn't over, so we'll see. :) 3 weeks from today is my ultrasound!!!! I CAN'T WAIT. The baby moves allll the time now...well I think...unless there is something else floating in my lower abdomen, I'm pretty sure it's my baby.I can't wait to have my baby. Seriously...it's just sooooo long from now, I want it to just go by as fast as possible...I can't wait to hold my babe in my arms. I love it!!! My cousin is having a baby in May, along with 2 of my best friends...holllly crap...I'm going to be anxious for my own!! This week I have went from craving pickles, to Ben&Jerry's Chocolate Fudge Brownie Ice cream...lol...I ate half a pint of it in one sitting...fatty. Well hope everybody else is well!!!!

April 23rd-

Dr. appt. today. I begged for my ultrasound to be early...he said no :( boo. It was SOO crazy because the heartbeat was REALLY loud today...instead of the "swoosh" it was actually kinda heartbeat sounding!! Doc. said I'm showing a little!!! yay! lol...So my ultrasound is STILL scheduled for May 7th...only 2 weeks from today. I had a horrible, stressful weekend. My dog, Bella...well she attacked my boyfriends parents dog, and put her in the animal hospital! She's such a baby I thought that would never happen, and now i'm worried, because of the baby. I thought we would get rid of her, but it's too hard right now. I'm going to take both of my dogs to "doggie therapy" and see what happens, but if she acts like that again, she has to go. My baby is more important that my baby dog :( But anyways, all is well and in only 4 short days I'll be 20 weeks!!! omg. time is flying!! I'm almost half way there!! yay! oh yea, p.s. my AFP results were normal! 1:1400 for downs, which is average for my age.

April 28th, 2007~

Woo Hoo!!! 20 weeks now The pictures above are of my belly!! They are a little blurry from my cell phone...but that's me!! I feel I'm getting bigger EVERY day now :) Yay! Anywho, Just wanted to say I'm finally half way there, and I finally have some pics up. Only 8 more days until my ultrasound :) adios!

May 1, 2007~

Yay!! It's May :) I love it!!! Finally almost summer time! Hope everybody has a great day...only 6 days until my Ultrasound :) :) :) I'm so excited I can hardly wait!!!! Send me some boy dust!!!!! Feeling baby move like crazy still...LOVING it :) It just stormed here like crazy, and I found freaking baseball sized hail. It's nuts. Anyways, happy as hell, and ready for Monday!!! I hope it goes by fast!

May 5, 2007!

Okay, so I got my ultrasound early on Wednesday...and ITS A GIRL :) I'm SOOO happy!!! I can't wait! We are naming her Ava Grace and she was absolutley perfect :) Soooo I finally just got a chance to get online and wanted to let ya'll know! It's a beautiful little girl! yay!

May 11, 2007-

So since I've found out it's a girl, I haven't been able to stay out of the store :) I've been shopping away. Crazy. 22 weeks today, FINALLY. I'm so excited, I keep getting farther and fatter lol! Some days I feel like I can't even move.Oh geeze. My mom bought me maternity shorts last night...don't really like those very much. yuck. Oh well though. they are comfy. Otherwise, I feel huge, and the heartburn pops up at crazy times, but I'm doing great and still can't WAIT until September :) Happy Mothers Day ladies !

May 19, 2007-

23 weeks now. Nothing new to report really. Feeling movement a LOT, and just been getting bigger...as you can see by the belly. blah. Anyways, all else is well :)

June 1, 2007-

Wow, I can't believe it's ALREADY june! How time flys! I thought this whole pregnancy was goign to creep by, but I'm already 25 weeks! Goodness! At my last appt. on May 23, I got my glucose drink. I have to drink it an hr. before my appt. on June 13th. Fun! :) Yuck, but really. I'm getting excited about everything! I am getting way anxious to do my nursery...still haven't gotten to it yet, but hopefully here in the next 3 or 4 weeks! Ava is constantly moving, and having a hay day in my belly. I love to watch my belly flop around all day! Now Ijust get nervous if i DONT feel her for a little while hah! only 15 weeks left...well, 14 weeks and 5 days!yay! So hope everybody else is well!!! I'll report back on June 13th!

June 13th 2007-

Today I had my glucose test. Ick. Talk about disgusting. It seriously didn't taste that bad, but it made my stomach feel pretty crappy :( I had an iron check, it was low, so now I have to take Iron pills every day. blah. Baby is growing perfectly...I should have known by the STRETCH MARKS on my stomach :( I have 5 now...all on the right side of my belly button (looking down). I guess they are worth it though! Belly keeps getting bigger!! Also, I start going to the Dr. every 2 weeks now...hopefully that makes the last 3 months go a little faster! Baby shower is in 4 weeks! I can't wait!

27 week belly :)

June 14th-

Eh. Today the Dr. called. I knew that was bad news. I failed my glucose test by .5 pt. crappy...so they said that since I was SO close, that they aren't going to make me do the 3 hr. test, just have to visit a nutritionist...which I figured. I eat crappy. So my appt. is June 22nd at 8am. Hopefully all goes well. Gotta start eating better for Ava Grace :) Oh yeah, We got our nursery furniture all put together. Crib, changing table, and dresser. :) I'm so excited! It is Cherry, and it is beautiful! I can't wait to get the bedding now! I think I'll get it at my shower on July 15th...yeah, July 15th, how cool is that! It's almost time for my shower! That will be so much fun, I can't wait to get all my baby stuff. Poor Curtis is going to be overwhelmed with all the "Girl" stuff in the house. HAHA...outnumbered :) I think it's funny. Buuuut wish me luck with my nutritionist!

June 22nd-

YAY! 3rd trimester starts today! I remember back in March, when I was counting down the days until my 2nd trimester. How funny. It goes by so fast. I feel like this last trimester is going to creep by...yuck. I am SO ready to have this baby. My friend just had a baby on Monday, and OMG, he is SO beautiful...I just can't wait to have my little Ava now...It makes me cry sometimes becasue I want her to come out SOO bad. I know she has to stay in for AT LEAST 9 more weeks!!! but that's not very long so that's okay :) OOH, my glucose test. I had to take the 3 hour test on Tuesday, it just didn't go so well. I finally drank the stuff at about 7:45, and then at 8:40, 5 minutes before my first blood draw, I tossed my cookies!!! SOOO, the lady said I would have to do it over, so I was REALLY upset, but my Dr. Called and said that I can just see a nutritionist. Soooo that makes me happy. I didn't want to do it over :( Anyhow. 28 weeks today! Yay! Lovin' it!

June 27-

updates. well, a lot. First off, baby is wonderful :) kicking and squirming away! I can't wait to hold her! So excited :) Anyways, Had an appt. with my OB on Wednesday, baby is great, growing away! Missed my appt. with the nutritionist. They wrote the wrong day on the paper. sooo I can't go now until July 11th. Stupid....but I'm supposed to seriously cut out my sugar and stuff...so that sucks. Anyways, I guess I didn't have a lot. 2 weeks until my baby shower! i'm excited :)

July 6th-

30 weeks today :) finally down to the single digits in weeks :) Yay! I can't wait to hold my baby in my arms! My baby shower is only a week away, I've been cheating and checking my registery...oops! Oh well though, I don't know WHO got me WHAT...so I'll still be suprised :) My boyfriends mom got me my bedding...I'm So excited to put everything away in her room. Lots of laundry and stuff coming soon...I figure once I get all my baby gear, it will make time go by faster! Anyhow, I'll be posting a picture of my bedding, and of my belly...so I'll do that now! Oh my gosh! I can't believe it's been a month already since I've last updated. I added pictures, but must have forgot to update! Anyways, being pregnant is REALLY starting to take a toll on me. I'm tired, aggitated, restless, nesting, grumpy, bitchy, all of the horrible things. I'm excited, nervous, scared, ready...I don't know what I am, but I know I'm a mopey, whining, crying, big baby :) My emotions are all mixed up right now. blah!
