Wow! Has time flew by!

Emma is 4 1/2 months old. I can't believe it! I feel like I was pregnant with her just the other day. She is growing up so much. She is rolling over like a pro back and forth. We bought a saucer for her to play in and that is her favorite. She also loves her bouncer. She has also started to eat food. She is getting some chunky thighs! I am so in love with her. I am still breastfeeding. I am not sure how much longer we going to be doing that. I am not sure if I am producing enough for her. Besides we are thinking of getting pregnant soon and my doctor doesn't want me to continue. It would just be a lot for me, having to get enough for me, Emma, and the baby. Another thing in the back of my head is that Emma is going to be getting some teeth soon!

Everyone keep your fingers crossed that I can breastfeed until I get pregnant. And that I get pregnant sometime after this month!

Wow, how exciting that Emma will be here very soon! Are your cramps Braxton Hicks? My husband and I went grocery shopping this weekend and we picked up simple food for him to make. For example, the fully cooked bacon for cereal and bacon for breakfast. I bought ground beef for hamburgers and I makd taco meat filling for the freezer. I have a frozen lasagna in the freezer. My husband is an excellent cook and loves looking for receipes on the internet. He makes a great pot roast and loves grilling. My girlfriend took me walking today and Christian is not interested in coming out. I have a doctor's appt on Thursday and if the baby doesn't come, he will be induced on Monday.

aw well at least you got things rolling...
And maybe you're little one will still come sooner on her own. I dont think mine would have ever came out on her own if we didnt push the nurses and drs to just let me continue with labor and have my mother in law massage her down. It was so weird I was stuck at 4cm for at least a week. But as soon as the nurse said lets keep you and have a baby, I went to 6cm in an hour!

Hello! You have my same due date! Well I didnt exactly know I was in labor. I went to my 39 week doctor appt thinking I was just having some cramping and that she was going to tell me the same thing she always did and send me home. Well those period cramps were actual labor cramps, just not that bad yet. So after she checked me, she said I was 2 cm dilated and asked if I could come back at 3 to be admitted to the hospital. So if you are having any cramps, dont just blow them off because they could be labor pains. They didnt hurt any worse than period cramps (at first) but they progressively got worse! Good luck and I hope you have your baby soon!!

Good luck with your dr. appt today. Hopefully they will induce and you will be able to see your precious baby. As of Friday, I still hadn't dialated and I don't know if my cervix is thinning.

sorry i just logged on. it can start as crampy or it can just start as strong menstrual pain. it can also be an achiness in the back. All of it should get stronger to where you will know for sure it is for real. The problem is that some pain is dull where you can walk in the hospital and be further along than you thought while others will have strong pains and only be 2-3 cm dilated.

well if you are in labor it would be the very early stages and you probably have awhile to go. Tell your dr about it but Im sure he'll just tell you to keep an eye on it. Let me know how your appointment goes...

I've got nothing oing on either...except the bursting. I have this one patch of skin under my ribs that has been hurting for the past two months, now it is itchy, and almost numb from the pain...so weird. I'm having a growth scan on thursday (they think i'm small) and then possible induced that day or sunday. we'll see. i'm reaydy to meet her.

With my son, I started out just having a cramp every so often starting at 5pm...by midnight the cramps were happening more often and hurting more..that's how I ended up knowing it was a contraction...hope this helps!?

it could be but hard to tell. The biggest thing I would be paying attention and looking for would be obviously your water to break, or tight contractions in the slightest...
Once they start getting really hard or close together I would go into labor & delivery. That all depends on how dilated and such you are...so how dilated and such are you? Today is your due date!? Aw yay...well sorta...hopefully you'll have that baby soon! When are you being induced?

Your baby was due today, what is happening with you? My baby isn't due until 4/14 and he is measuring 7lbs & 7oz and still growing. I am hoping he will come before his due date. I am working at an insurance company and just started 2/20/08 so I can only take 6wks when the baby is born and 8 wks if it is a c-section. How are you feeling? Are they planning on inducing?

i would be going vrazy if i were you... and i'm sure i will be when it's my time because none of the babies in my family come early... when they took the pic with his foot there, the tech was like awww.. look at his little foot. My mom said "that foot doesn't look so little to me!!!" haha!

haha yea I hope you go before then as well. My dr kept telling me I would go before my date to be induced but I really didnt believe him. And I dont think I really would have went before unless they kept me in the hospital and kinda helped labor a bit. Well keep me updated and good luck!

aww.. that stinks!! on the bright side, she can't stay in there for too much longer... within the next week or so you will be holding your little baby girl!!! I'M JEALOUS!!! lol I had my appt today.. everything was good... I PASSED MY GLUCOSE TEST!!! I was sooooo happy to hear that! I did it about a week and a half ago and it made me SOOOO sick!! I could not imagine having to do the 3 hour one!!! YIKES!!!

Hey there! Don't feel bad Im due next wednesday the 9th and I'm not dilated at all either im thinning but no dilation grrr!! I go tomarrow to the doc. to see if there are n e changed but with my luck I doubt it but i keep trying everything looks like tonight its bouncing on the birthing ball for me!
