Hi there,

I work for a television production company based in the UK . We are currently making a documentary for ITV1 exploring the issues surrounding pregnancy and eating disorders. The film will be a thoughtful and insightful look into this extremely sensitive subject.

We’re in the research stage of our production and very keen to chat to women who are, or have been, pregnant whilst having an eating disorder.

You are welcome. I am not an expert on this or any other subject. Just trying to offer a different perspective on things and use some of my past experiences to help someone else and hopefully keep them from worrying about the silly things that all pregnant women worry about. Here's to a quick and painless labor (even though it probably won't be, we can always hope can't we?)

You don't NEED any u/s but its common practice to do one around 20 weeks to check up on the baby. Thats the only one some people get. I've had several but thats just because my baby was too small and had to go back to get a good reading on the heart. Plus, I'm having a 4D u/s done just for fun!

HI I wanted to respond to your question about U/S. I have an 8 year old and for him I only had 1. This is my second child and I was only suposed to have 1 BUT they didn't see all the valves in his heart so they want to do another one next Tuesday. I would count yourself lucky to only haveone. That just means they think everything is ok =) Have a good weekend!
