I haven't written on here for ages. I have just had the results from my screening blood tests and everything came back low risk, which i was so relieved about. I'll be 18 weeks tomorrow, i've got my detailed scanat the beginning of december which i can't wait for, not sure whether im going to find out what we're having, i'm quite keen but liam isn't so we'll have to see.

So now i'm officially 18 weeks and don't feel any different!! (Not that i expected to since yesterday!!)
I'm just enjoying this whole experience now, peanut moves all the time, some days more than others, i can't wait till liam can feel him/her move too.
I've thought about it and i want to find out what we're having so ive got 3 weeks exactely till then....i'm soooo excited!!I really want to start buyng lots of things already but liam thinks i should wait but when we know what we're having i'm definitely going to start spending some money on my little sweetie.

Had an mixed weekend this weekend. Started buying little things for my angel whilst shopping on friday and saturday, which felt so good and made things so much more real. Although friday night, when i wiped after peeing, there was some peachy coloured blood on the tissue so we panicked and went straight to the hospital.
After an anxious wait, we found out everything was fine and i just had a mild water infection so i went home happier.
As a result of the bleeding i had to have the anti–D injection in my bum cheek yesterday which was an experience to say the least!!!
Anyway everything is fine now, so i'm happy. We moved into our new house at over the weekend aswell, and i love living on our own.
anyway thats about all from me. 19 weeks tomorrow, woohooo!!

I had a phone call from my GPs surgery yesterday and turns out i have a water infection!I've got antibiotics for it which annoyed me as i don't like taking medicine at the best of times and even more so now, oh well guess i need to clear it up.
I'm usually good natured and have an endless fuse but i've noticed since yesterday that i snap at the slightest thing and i hate it!!!All these hormones are driving me nuts!!!
Anyway everythings going well with my little peanut, ive got my 20 week scan in 10 days and i really can't wait to find put what we're having!!so at least it'l have a proper name.
We've chosen names already and we both agreed that they are perfect which i'm happy about.

Gosh i've just told one of my friends at work and she was so lovely about it!!!
I asked her advice on telling the boss ( i know 19 weeks and still not told him) as i've only worked here 7 months and he's not a nice guy at all.
After speaking to Gemma tho, i'm gonna tell him tomorrow morning and just hope it goes okay cuz i've been stressing over it for ages.
Then i can finally relax and enjoy my pregnancy, not that i don't already, this whole work business has been niggling at me tho and it feels nice to finally tell someone!

So i've just told my manager about being pregnant and he went and told my boss and i'm till waiting for a reply.
nothing's been said, my boss has not even called me into the office or anything, which i think is quite odd.
I hope he's not going to sack me or anything, thats the only thing that worries me.
He didn't even say congrats or anything. I also told my other friend chris and he was really happy for me.
not that i want my boss to say anything, i just thought he'd want to sort out my maternity leave and stuff, if he doesn't, does that mean he's gonna sack me??
oh my gosh, i nkow i'm ranting but i'm worried and would just likle to know the score.
Apparently he can't sack me, but honestly i wouldn't put it past him. He's a horrible man and miserable aswell.

I feel so relived now. Just been to have a chat with my bosses wife who sorts the wages here (he was too embarrassed to speak to me about it). Everythings sorted now, i'm going to work as long as possible so that i get longer off afterwards to spend with my peanut. I am entitled to maternity leave which i knew but they are also gonna pay me for it, which is heaps better. Can't believe how good it feels that everyone in my life knows!!!
I can finally start to enjoy my pregnancy.
Anyway everythings fine with the little one, it was moving loads last night and a few times the kicks were so hard i could see them on the outside of my tummy. I was so proud, i just sat there for ages with my top rolled up so i could watch incase she/he did it agen, liam thought i looked really funny.

Well i went for my scan yesterday and everything was progressing as it should, i asked the sonographer if she could tell whether it was a girl or a boy and she told me that we were having............a little girl!!!I didn't mind what we were having, but i'm thrilled that we're having a little princess.
Liam missed the scan because we were late for the appt due to a traffic accident with 2 cars on the way so he dropped me out the front of where i needed to be and i went in while he went to park the car.
I told reception i was expecting him shortly but i was called in for my scan so i told them to send him in when he turned up. The sonographer waited for a few mins but she had to go ahead with the scan as she had other appts after me. I thought Liam would catch the end of it but unfortunately he still hadn't arrived when it as all over.
I got the pics and went outside just as he was running up, he was really disappointed but he had the pics to look at.
We went shopping afterwards and bought lots pink stuff which i loved. Liam thought it would be a boy so he was a little surprised but i knew it would be a girl.He really happy tho and we've already decided on a name for her.

Well i'm nearly at the end of my 21st week and i'm suffering with really bad heartburn!!I've not slept much at all over the weekend, i've tried everything from drinking milk to sleeping more upright but nothing seems to be working and it's making me miserable!!!
I can hardly eat which is a pain because just lately i've been hungrier than ever and spicy food (which is my favourite) is definitely off the menu!!
Aside from that everything else is fine, my little princess is getting on great, and i've noticed that she moves more towards the end of the day which is completely the opposite to me!!lol
I love her sooooo much already and i can't wait to meet her in person, i've got an appt with my midwife on christmas eve so i'm looking forward to that, hope everythings still fine!!

wow, 22 weeks, over half way there and counting. Time has flown by since i first joined this site. I still can't wait to B-day, i get more and more excited by the day. Feeling quite good this morning, i'v got a rest from college and work tomorrow so i'm gonna chill out and rest with my little princess, we can watch day time tv all day!!
The new table is arriving tomorrow aswell, so there'l be no more eating in the lounge! Feeling pretty happy todat aswell, which different to the usual jekyl and hyde i normally am.

Well today i'm feelign particularly pants!Liam has had the flu for the past week and inevitably has passed it onto me. I started to feel a bit icky last night and have woke up this morning feeling considerably worse. I've actually turned up to work which i now see was a bad idea, think i may go home in an hour or so, get what i need done and go back to bed. To top it off i also had heartburn last night which meant i had to ty and sleep propped up which i still can't do. Hope i feel better soon. xx

I'm finally starting to feel normal after a whole weekend of being sick. It all started on Saturday morning, i couldn't keep anything down but i expected it to pass so i wasn't that worried. I was still throwing up on sunday and monday mornign so i mad an appt to see my m/w because i was sure gracie would be suffering, but thankfully everything was fine. I'm back at work today and feeling a bit better, can't believe i'm 23 weeks already, time seems to be flying by now. I can't wait for my little girl to get here.

So today i feel exhausted. I've started to notice that i'm sleeping less and when i do it's still not a good nights sleep. Gracie wakes me up in the morning now and i love it, she's definitely saying good morning mommy! We're getting all ready for xmas, we've had the tree up for a while but now we're starting to put presents underneath it and deliver the xmas cards.
Unfortunately i've got to work right up to and including xmas eve which is a pain as Liam finishes tomorrow for 2 weeks, so i'm jelous.
It's my works party tomorrow night tho which i'm excited about. can't believe it's my 21st birthday next wednesday!! I'm just gonna have a quiet one this year and maybe have a party next year, i wont enjoy it much if i have it now cuz i won't be able to drink (which i don't mind about) but i'll be in bed by about 10 so it won't be much of a party anyway!! oh well i'd rather keep my daughter safe and just be with family.
I really can't wait till she arrives now, time seems to be flying by but not if that makes sense. My uncles girlfriend is waiting to have her little girl anytime now and its scary that it will be me next, but i am so ready to be a mom.

I think i `ve been overdoing it a little bit over the past few days, not to mention the fact that when i do get in bed to rest i sleep badly. I feel utterly exhausted, and my bump has grown so i just feel awful. I dont think i gave myself enough time to recover from being ill last weekend. Its my works christmas party tonight and i finally found something to wear which is good but i just have no energy. I want to sleep!!but i can `t when i try......arrrrggghhh bought Gracie some new clothes last night,i can `t wait till she gets here. I love her so much already, she `s getting into a routine of when she wakes up now and i look forward to feeling her move lots. I `m just at work now but i know if i rested my head on the table i would sleep straight away!xxxx

Can `t believe its christmas eve!!!and i `m stuck at work :( Gracie is just fine, she `s moving around a lot and i love watching my belly jump!!Liam thinks its really funny when she does it. I had my first Braxton Hick contraction yesterday, it was the wierdest feeling. It was slightly painful for a few seconds and i thought to myself this is gonna be ten times worse on the big day!!!I `m looking forward to tomorrow, we `re spending time with all the family and i `m excited to see what presents i have!My weekend has been really busy, wrapping presents and doing the food shopping, Liam has been a typical man and left his shopping till today, he even asked me to wrap them for him because he just gets into a mess so thats what i `ll be doing!!! anyway hope everyone is okay and has a fab christmas and new year!!!xxxxx

Can `t believe we `re back at work, it `s sooooo depressing, no one else is in apart from me and gemma and theres nothing to do at all!Anyway christmas and my birthday were great, i got some really good pressies this year, we wnt to the local pub yesterday with my family and gracie was loving the music, she did `nt stop moving all day so i think she `s worn out today!! anyway hope everyones well. xx

I am so fed up of being sick! I shud be well passed that now and its completely draining me! Had a 3 day weekend which was gud but back at work today which sucks, had to leave Liam in bed which i hated. Can `t believe its 2008 tomorrow, time seems to be flying by now!! Before i no it Gracie will be here, i love her so much already, cant wait to meet her in person. We `re meant to be going out tonight but i didnt sleep last night so the first thing im doing tonight when i get back from work is sleeping!!Anyway thats my rant for the morning, hope everyone is well. xxxxx

25 weeks already, cant believe how fast time is flying by now, can `t wait to meet my little lady!my NYE was okay, we went to a local pub where they had a private party, it was ok but i was ready for bed by about half 10 but i stuck it out to see the new year in. Liam and i are throwing nursery ideas back and forward at the min, its sooo exciting. I still feel a little snotty and i keep spitting up green phlem (sorry tmi) so think i may have a bit of a cold, but apart from that i feel fine. I `ve gotta go to my great uncles funeral tomorrow, which i `m not looking forward to but at least i get a rest from work. My next appt with my m/w is the 21st of January and i also have to have an anti-d injection in my bum cheek again on the 28th which i an definitely not looking forward to!!!lol anyway i `m quite busy at work so hope everyone is okay and a happy new year to you all. xxxxx

I feel pants today!!I woke up this morning and i `ve got the flu, i can `t believe it!Anyway Liam and i have decided on everything for the nursery, we `ve chosen wall colour, bedding etc, i can `t wait to start the painting. Liam seems a bit more enthusiastic now, we had a bit of a chat ad i told him that the nursery is really important to me so i want him to make a bit more of an effort and he has. He told me that he wanted me to choose as i knew what i wanted which i thought was quite sweet, he then sat down with me and we chose the actual furniture so we `re gonna order everything over the weekend, yay!!!hope everyones well. xx

My weekend has been pretty awful to say the least, Liams car was broken into in the early hours of Saturday morning which has cost him money to fix, plus he lost a days wages which he was not happy about. Then i was ill (but thankfully feeling better now) and then yesterday my brother had an accident while playign football and had to have 18 stitches inside and outside his knee!! All is well now tho, we painted the nursery over the weekend and i `ve ordered the bedding this morning. I `m going to order the cot/bed at lunch time along with a few other things. This is all so exciting, i really cant wait till gracie gets here now. Can `t believe i `ve only got 14 weeks left!! Time seems to be flying by now, Liam seems to be getting into it a bit more now, bless him, he `s always touching and kissing my belly which i love, he always speaks to my bump aswell which i find quite funny!!! anyway hope eeveryones good xx

Yay!!!I `ve just ordered the furniture for the nursery and it `s being delivered on Friday, thought it `d be at least a few weeks before it turned up but apparently not!!can `t wait till the bedding arrives, then her room will have a bit of colour aswell. Liam will be pleased about getting his wardrobe space back, he `s had to share half of it because I `d been puttin Gracie `s stuff in there!Also got a new camera today, which much better than my otehr one, now i `ll be able to post sme pics up which i cudn `t do before! xxx

26 weeks today, can `t believe there are only 14 left!!It seems like yesterday that they lines showed up on the test. Well today i feel okay, the little ones been moving around so much over the past few days, bless her!!I `ve been having really bad heartburn again and its driving me nuts, milk doesn `t even soothe me now, its such a pain. I `ve had a bit of a stressful morning today but all is well now, and i `m feeling much calmer. My bumbp doesn `t seem to be getting any bigger, maybe its because i see it everyday, Liam was taking photos of it yesterday and i didn `t actually realise how big it was!!!xxxxx

27 weeks tomorrow!!!woohhoooo! time is flying by but not fast enough for me!!Wish my little princess was here with me now! Well exciting news about the bedding that i ordered, i just tracked the order and it arrived in the UK last night so hopefully i `ll have it soon. can `t wait to see it!!! Had a bit of trouble with the crib, i was told that it was being delivered on Friday (11th jan) but it never turned up so i rang the company and was told that it wasn `t even in stock so i shouldnt have been given a delivery date!!I was soooo cross, they said that they `d have it in by Feb so fingers crossed cuz if its still not in by then, we `ll have to go elsewhere cuz i can `t wait tooo long! I `m starting to notice that the glowing stage is wearing off!!lol i `m starting to feel tired again and do not sleep well at all!!!My spots are back with avengeance which i was not pleased about. anyway hope everyone is well. 27 Weeks, wooohooo!!Can `t believe how time if flying. Everything seems muh more real now, we recieved the 1st lot of the nursery bedding yesterday, the other lot is meant to arrive today so can `t wait for that. We `ve put what turned up yesterday in the nursery last night, it looks so gorgous, can `t wait to have my little girl in it!!We also had a sneaky chinese last night aswell, it was yummy tho!!heheI `m starting to feel tired now, can `t believe i `ll have my little girl in 3 months time!!!Not sure how much weight i `ve put on, i `m sure i `ll find out on monday at my next appt with the midwife, i `m starting to feel fat tho!!

28 weeks!!!oh my gosh. My weekend has been awful, i had 2 massive rows with Liam on Thursday and Friday and they `ve left me feeling really unsure about our relationship. I thought Liam was as happy as i was about having a house with a baby on the way but apparently not. He was saying all sorts of stuff which left me heartbroken and even though we `ve sorted things out and he says that he only said what he said to hurt me i `m still unsure and think that maybe he doesn `t want Gracie after all and that the only reason he `s with me is because of her. He `s been super sweet to me since and we `ve always been so close and he `s never once indicated that he didn `t want the house or a baby but i feel depressed about the whole thing now. He told me that he `s stressed out at work, thats why he went mad but i dont believe him and feel like he `s trying to cover for the fact that he doesn `t want any of this. Maybe it `s because i `m so hormonal that i cant get over it, n i haven `t got any1 to talk to. He `s my best friend and i love him so much, i was really looking forward to our future together but now i `m unsure that we even have one. To make it worse i had an appt with the m/w today and showed her a rash which i `ve had for about a week. I have red spots and patches (one of which is infected) all over my stomach and breasts, and after finding out that i havent changed my washing powder and i dont have any pets she looked really concerned and said that if my hands and feet start to itch i have to go to the hospital, i `m so freaked out about the whole thing and just want to know that everything will be alright. I feel as if i cant go to Liam for comfort or support because he `s really hurt me and i kind of dont trust the relationship we have anymore because it seems like its a lie becasue he han `t been completely honest with me. I dont know what to do. xx

I `m just sitting at work a the minute and i feel exhausted. I could literally sleep here and now. Had my blood taken today, maybe that `ll show i `m anaemic or maybe i `m tired because i `m pregnant!! Really wish i could just go home and curl up in bed. Wishful thinking ha........

It `s my first day of week 30, i `m so excited!We `ve finally finished the nursery and its looks even better than i hoped it would. Feeling well in myself, a bit tired but thats expected. Heartburn is still a pain, milk was no longer workign so i bought some rennie `s which seem to do the trick, i get through a few packs a week tho. I `ve got another check up with the midwife next monday and i `ve decided that i will be finishing work on March 4 so not long to go now. I `m still being sick the odd time, i threw up this morning but i think thats because i was trying to blow my nose, i `ve been all congested over the past few days. I `ve started to pack my hospital bag now, it `s quite scary when i think about giving birth but in a good way, i just know that whatever happens i `ll have a special gift at the end of it!Anyway hope everyone is well. xx

I `m having the worst day at work ever. The flea bites have come back because my boss wont do anything to get rid of them so im gonna be showing my m/w on monday because i know its against health and safety. Anway I spoke to my boss about taking the holidays i `m owed before i go on maternity leave because by the time i get back it `l be next january and we `re not allowed to carry them over but they wont let me and she said she `d call me back after she `d worked it out. The next thing i told ehr was that i was taking my full 39 weeks maternity leave which they are supposed to pay me for and she said that they `re only gonna pay me for 26 which pissed me off cuz now i `ve gotta try and work something else out. My work are being awkward about the whole thing and it `s really pissing me off, can `t wait till home time now, 1 hour to go. I `m so cross!!!!!!!It `s nice to get it off my chest but it seriously needs sorting out.xxx

Blimy 41 days left, thats has gone sooo fast!! Not been on here for a while, cant believe how fast time seems to be flying, I `m having a lot of trouble with my employer at the min so i `ve been put on the sick by the doctor cuz my blood pressures too high. I start my maternity leave at the end of march so till then im on the sick. Been feeling pretty good considering that i `m officially a hippo! Everythings ready for our little princess, cant believe i `ve only got 6 weeks left, that has really come round fast. I finish uni next week so thats not too bad, i `m getting really excited now, cant wait to have her. My antenatal classes are going well, most of the stuff i already know because i `ve been reading preggo books ever since i found out i was expecting but theyre still fun and ive met some nice people. hope everyones feeling good. xxxxxxxxxxx

It looks like many people have already answered with the same thing I was going to say. Baby probably changed positions or dropped lower into your pelvis. Does it feel lower? Lots of pressure down there and more room up top type of feeling? My baby dropped over this past week I am quite sure. I can't set anything on my belly anymore (my icecream bowl is very sad)Not that he let it ever stay up there anyway, he'd always just kick and spill whatever I was eating :-) My heartburn has been almost nothing and it was so bad it was making me cry, and I feel like if I push to hard to pee I may just see his little head pop out. I guess labor should go quickly again though. Also CM are very small measurments and could just be the slightest change of the person measureing. I was reading that some larger clinics have thrown out measuring all together as it's not very accurate in larger clinics where you usually see different dr.'s. I'm sure when you see your dr. again they will set your mind at ease.

sometimes when the baby changes positions, the size of your uterus changes. He/She was probably rolled up in a tighter ball the second time you were measured.. Or the baby dropped down just a little. Nothing to worry about!

I would try doing some prenatal stretching for the pain, its sound like normal pregnancy aches & pains to me which I have found HUGE relief with Prenatal Yoga. Hope you feel better soon, congrats as well

I had tiny red bumps on my stomach and breasts, Just on the tops from what I could tell. I showed them to my doc and she said it was from extra hormones (I think estrogen). I ended up getting something like a broken blood vessel on one boob and one more on my stomach, then it all went away. With my first preg. I got very random and very itchy rashes usually on my wrists and hands. Those seemed to come and go as quickly as they came though. I also put lotion on every morning after my shower. I have been using vasoline intensive care or very dry skin and it has been doing a super job keeping my skin very moisturized. Hope this helps, good luck.

Hi, about a month ago I woke up with a rash on my belly and breasts, there were tiny little spots that were very itchy, so I went to the emergency room and my doctor who was on call (how lucky was I?) said it was from the placenta, sometimes some cells that are foreign to our bodies enter our bloodstream and cause a reaction. Normally it happens later in the pregnancy, and it only goes away with delivery. He gave me some antihistamines and anti-itch powder which I didn't use cause the rash went away on its own after a few days. I don't know if this is what you have, but that's my experience. It's nothing serious, just uncomfortable. Do some research online about pregnancy and rashes, I think it's called PUPPPS, or PUPPS. good luck!!!

Hey there, I read your rash question. It can also be a deal with your liver, nothing serious, the pregnancy hormones hit your liver and make you itch and get a rash sometimes, I had it but it comes and goes. Good luck!!

Rashes could be a number of things PUPPP -(pruritic urticarial papules and plaques of pregnancy)

This is the most common skin condition of pregnancy. studies suggest that foetal cells can invade the mother's skin during pregnancy, and in some way cause this skin disorder to develop.

its generally red raised spots or bumps that itch strongly. it usually starts on the abdomen and spreads to the thighs. Occasionally, the rash spreads to arms and buttocks. The face is never involved.

its not harmfull to mother or baby. its just really bloody annoying?!! it can be treated with steriodal creams though good luck and i hope you find out what it is, sometimes its just more scary not knowing what is going on!!! good luck!!

Hi Heather. A few weeks ago I had a rash like that on my legs and inner thighs. It was red and looked like a burn and it was itchy. I read that it may be heat rash, so I put baby powder on it so the moisture would not bother it. It then dried up and I had to put lotion on it. Now it is completely gone. I don't know if you have the same thing, but I just wanted to give you some info. on what mine was. Hope that helps:)

just type in google 3d ultrasounds or something along those lines, thats what I did. I found a place called Baby4d and it was nice there and not far from where I live in Kent. Best of luck to you I hope you find somewhere, its well worth the money :)

I would look on the internet for the closes place near you that does them. In the US you don't need to have a doctors slip to do them. I would assume that it is the same way there due to it being an non medical use. They run from $100-400 here in the States.

I see a speacialist as well as my OB, and he was the one that told me the sex, and he never hesitated, or waivered. And, it was very early on, then I had to have an amnio, and it confirmed that ours is a little princess! So, good luck!

When I found out I was having a boy, the sonographer said 'I can see what it is, do you want to know?' 'It's a boy.' His boy parts were very clear. Even before she said it, I already knew:)
