Halle- jane Born at 11.50pm weighing just 5 IB 6oz.
Birth Story
When I was 20 weeks pregnant, we found that Halle had a lump in her brain (dural sinus malformation in the posterior fossa)
At 32 weeks pregnant, we was told there was a very good chance Halle wasen't going to survive and if she did she would probably end up handicapped, so we was offered termination- which we rejected, broke our hearts to even think about it!
On May 11th I went into hospital for a planned inducement.. being induced at 1.30pm and straight away having contractions. was then in labour for 10-11 hours and had her at 11.50pm. Again not having pain relief lol When she was born, she came out and there was complete silence for minutes.. but when she started screaming.. me and George burst into tears, was the most emotional experience weve ever EVER been through. We was so worried about what was going to happen. The next day, she undergoed many mri scans and tests and they said the dural sunis malformation had no blood flow to it- meaning it wont grow anymore and she may not even need an operation. She also had a big birth mark across her arm which the doctors was worried about- so they checked her liver and blood out and everything passed perfectly. She had another test done on her heart and found there was a small hole in her bottom ventriculls but hoping is will heal up in a few months time, so she will need to be tested oftern. Halle-Jane is our little miracle and we cannot believe how lucky we are! She has been so sooooo strong and I'm so proud of her. She is sooo beautiful! I would like to thank everyone so much for the support.. all our friends and family. We appreciate everything and making us strong and keeping us together! It has been a real struggle, but now things are looking fantastic and can't wait to show her off to everyone :-)

It was our first year wedding anniversary on the 7th of July :-)

Halle at 9 weeks

Jess at 6 weeks

*Sophie* - Sunday, 11 May

I have an appointment in the hospital on Tuesday, so we'll see what happens! Are you back in on Sunday? Hospitals are bloody useless, but hopefully Halle will be in your arms soon. Are you in labour? Awww hun, try and hang in there! Samxdean had her baby! Lucky cow! Haha

what a terrible experience!!! Isn't there another hospital you can go too? Or can you make a complaint about this one? That is just the craziest story I've ever heard!! How do you treat a pregnant woman like that???

*Sophie* - Saturday, 10 May
Awww Heather! I just read through your profile and it made me feel so sad. I hope Sunday goes as smoothly as possible chick. I'm praying for you and Halle!
I didn't end up being induced... Poppys breech, so it's looking like I'm going to be having a c-section! Babies are awkward sods
xx

Oh you're joking! That sucks.
Did you actually watch it coming out?? Did you help her? Or just sit there and watch with a disgusted look on your face? hehe.
I'm so sorry! It's really not what you needed n Halle doesnt need the stress, poor girl. Ah well, keep yourself relaxed for now - lots of lavender-scented baths, relaxing massages from hubby and lots of sleep n it'll all be over soon! Keep your chin up! x

Yeah i bought some for babies today (was using my friends one yesterday) and been applying it every hour and he's fine with it. Charlie's got no hair and a very pale head so even in cold sun i always put a hat on him. And yes he's ok! Been for his hearing screening today and made absolutely no fuss at all and passed. Was worried cos he was awake but he's just such a good baby ALL the time, i feel so lucky!
So... it's the big day tomorrow!!!!! Bet you're really excited! (and nervous!) If i dont speak to you before then, GOOD LUCK! and when she comes, give halle a kiss from me once all the relatives get theirs! (I'm so excited for you!) x x

Why you scared? You done it all before and ENJOYED it! You crazy moo!
We're good thanks! Been to see our friends today (2yr old twins) and he sat and smiled at everyone for 2hrs! Plus went for our 6wk check and he's a "perfect specimen" apparently (tho i'm guessing they all say that!). LOVELY weather too; is he old enough to put kiddy suncream on him yet? I put some on him today cos the twins had gotten a burn from earlier and i was worried he'd get one too (was really really hot!) now i'm just waiting for the rash to come up...!
Jess must be excited! How d'you think she'll cope with going from only child to older child? I'm about to go from youngest child to middle child :) weeeeeeee, lol. x

I've been getting really sharp pains down in the vagina area as well and lost my muscus plug two days ago. Everyone is saying the baby's head is pushing down but as of last week he was breech. Not sure what to think. I have a appointment tomorrow so hopefully I will have a better answer.
