Now that my baby girl is here I figured it was time to erase my pregnancy journal and move on to a Mommy journal.

My little girl is 3 & 1/2 months old now and doing pretty good. She was diagnosed with acid reflux and is now on prevacid (solutab) in the morning and 1 ml of Axid at night. The pediatrician also changed her formula to Nutramigen to help with the gas problems she was dealing with at the same time. I'm still trying to figure out the best way to make sure she gets the prevacid. The doctor said I could give it in a bottle with her formula but it often ends up stuck to the sides of the bottle. I've been scooping that up with my finger and then running it over her tongue to make sure she gets all of it. She is so much better than she was before. For a couple of weeks she was crying almost non stop until she was diagnosed and put on medicine. It was so hard to hear her cry and not be able to make it better. Two weeks of being on medicine and she is her happy self again. We are having issues getting her to feed from the bottle. The pediatrician said that Giovanna started to associate the bottle with the pain of the acid reflux so that is why she is afraid to eat from it. I'm hoping soon that it will be a distant memory and she'll readily eat from one again. If anyone else is dealing with this (acid reflux in their little one) please share your story with me or leave the link to your page.
Here are some pic's of me and my husband...
