Santa came early!!!!!

We had our little girl on Nov. 24th. She came into this world by emergency c-section at 37 weeks. She is beautiful and wonderful and loved!!!

We are now 36 weeks, one month to go!!!! Getting ready...not organized yet!! On one hand I need more time and yet, I am almost done with being preggs!

We are 32 weeks now, and everything looks beautiful. We saw our girl on 3D/4D and she is awesome. What a cutie pie already. She will be a heartbreaker for sure. We started our Prepared childbirth classes and they are pretty informative, but most things we already knew. It is more exciting to make a birthplan and to figure out how to prepare for labor!

I'm trying to stay calm but it's hard! I passed a big clot of blood about 3 hours ago and started to panic. The hospital said that as the blood was browny coloured that it was old blood. They said to ring them back if it turns bright red again. I feel a bit better as I haven't lost anymore. She's very lively and kicking me loads so that's got to be a good sign! Can't wait to see her again on my scan tomorrow. Just hope they can tell me more about my amniotic fluid and her bladder tomorrow. I'll let you know how I get on. Thank you for caring! Hi Heather, I'm a bit panicky at the mo. I took my dogs out for a walk Sunday evening and 5 mins down the road, I suddenly noticed that the inside of my thighs and underwear were wet. I went home and rang the hospital and they said to go in. They had a look and said everything looked ok. Last night, I had a wee and noticed I was bleeding and had to go to hospital again. They had another look and took a swab to send off. They say I may have started bleeding from when they poked around the night before. I have to take it easy and ring them if anything changes or if I notice the baby not making many movements. They listened to her heart and it was ok. I have dull backache today. I feel too scared to move incase anything happens. I've got to go to Addenbrookes hospital again tomorrow for another scan to check the baby and my amniotic fluid again. It's so scary being pregnant! How have you been? xx

OK my Dad just stopped by and says 'yeah your gonna give me a haircut either Thurs or Fri' I said that I am not cutting hair at home and may not be cutting hair at work much longer. He said well you will cut mine. Ok how much insensitivity do I have to put up with? Or am I being a ()itch?I didnt even do my own kids last Hc's. I must mention he woke me up from a nap when he came over.

I am good as to be expected. I have my hubby's family around and my dad and stepmom...but its just not the same as your own mom.In laws really arent any help. Not once has anyone offered me some help. Really makes me upset. MY husband doesn't even see how much I am struggling. He is busy with his own stress at work.I am lucky to have a big family...but you are lucky to have a small one. I dont always have the time to spend with each child like I think I should, and I also neglect my own needs. You just make the best of what you are given! What are you gonna name her anyway? Princess?

Hi, how are you? Congratulations on finding out you are having a girl! I have my ultrasound on Wednesday and we'll hopefully find out whether the girls are having a little brother or a little sister! The girls are so excited! Elsie wants a sister and Kayla wants a brother! I'd love another girl, but as long as the baby's healthy, I don't mind. Bump is so active now! He/she is always kicking me! Elsie could feel it the other day when she put her hand on my tummy. I'm feeling really good at the moment, how are you feeling? Amber. x

If they find protein in your urine they will watch u very close. You may have some risk or presdispostion for getting preeclampsia.Sudden weight gain and swelling of face and hands, not urinating as much and headache are signs also. But remember some swelling is normal. Most of the time u have no idea that u have it. So keep all your prenatal appts. If you arent feeling well lay down on your left side in a cool dark room. This helps to lower bl. pressure and helps blood flow to your kidneys. I see that your BB was 170/90..which is really high for me. BUT it depends on what u started out with on pregnancy, They watch for the bottom number to jump a certain amt. of points. They could also put you on bedrest. I had 7 weeks with my first. He was 3 weeks early by induction...but healthy. Just try and relax as much as possible. Time to take care of you. Always call your Doc if you arent feeling quite right. It only takes a sec to check your pressure! Thats what we pay them for! ~Take care and Keep in touch! Trish

Yeah I think i would much rather have the MS then the GB! We go on Monday at 12:30. If I have another boy I will be fine with it. Gives my hubby another reason to want to try again for that girl! I will keep you posted!!!

Heather I have had no morning sickness at all. Maybe I'm having a boy! We have not picked anything out yet... just now starting to do that. Sorry to hear that your having morning sickness that is not good. Yes, NC is really a nice state to live in... I lived in GA until I got married then moved to missouri. It's ok, nothing like GA. Thanks for the comment of my family, they are very very special!

Hey HeatherMel- We do have the same EDD! We find out next week what we are having. I have a son already so a girl would be nice, but I would be happy with either. Yes GB pain is not fun, but I have noticed that if I do stay away from anything fatty that it helps witht the pain. So have you and your hubby thought of any names yet for your little one? I'm in ST. Louis Missouri where abouts are you from?

what do you want? i wanted a girl but its cool having another boy..im so in love with my tristan its crazy! when we had our u/s and they asked us if we wanted to know cuz tristan was sitting with his legs wide open! next u/s they double checked and still a boy, lol..we had one u/s at 8 mths pregnant and the tech said, ur having a girl, right? i bout flipped out cuz we had all blue boy stuff!, i said..umm, no it is a boy and she looked and said, 'oh, it is, i thought you had said it was a girl.' too funny and a lil crazy there for a moment cuz he was already named too!

Hang in there. I know how you feel. I moved away from all of my friends and so all I have is Morrie's family and my middle daughter. My mother died 14 years ago and I haven't seen my father in over 20. I know that it seems so far away but it will be here before you know it. The last month can be difficult so try to rest and relax as much as you can. Be careful with the heat because it can cause you to get dizzy and make sure you drink a lot of water so you don't get dehydrated which can cause contractions.

HI Heather, all is good here, although did just chuck a big crying tanterum at my fella for not helping round the house- not like me, my hormones must be playing havvock..I read that we should expect mood swings- so there was my first! apart from that, feeling great. We have decided not to find out the sex, think we wanna have a suprise at the end of all that hard work called labour! I bet you cant wait, how exciting?!

Hi Heather, hope you are ok. I had my first scan today and the girls came in and watched too so that was really good! I was pleased to find out that I'm not having twins! The baby was asleep and laying face down! They said the scan said I was 14 weeks so instead of my due date of 9th Dec, it changes it to 5th Dec. It's only a few days anyway! It was lovely to finaly see him/her! Martin is home and he's being all nice so he must be feeling bad for going!
