Santa came early!!!!!
We had our little girl on Nov. 24th. She came into this world by emergency c-section at 37 weeks. She is beautiful and wonderful and loved!!!
We are now 36 weeks, one month to go!!!! Getting ready...not organized yet!! On one hand I need more time and yet, I am almost done with being preggs!
We are 32 weeks now, and everything looks beautiful. We saw our girl on 3D/4D and she is awesome. What a cutie pie already. She will be a heartbreaker for sure. We started our Prepared childbirth classes and they are pretty informative, but most things we already knew. It is more exciting to make a birthplan and to figure out how to prepare for labor!

Hi, I hope everything goes ok with the test, I'm sure everything will be fine. Me and the girls can't wait 'til Wednesday so we can see our baby for the first time! My mum and brother came over yesterday for a vegetarian bbq so that was really nice. Martin turned up yesterday afternoon like nothing had happened and just started cleaning his big fish tank out. He didn't really speak but I didn't really want to speak to him anyway! I think he'll probably come back. He just didn't want another baby and I think that's why he's being so horrible at the mo. I also think he's depressed too but he won't go to the doctors about it coz he doesn't think he is, even though a few different people have said it. I'm still feeling sick and get the tummy pains if I move too fast or sneeze. I think I'm starting to feel slightly less tired though! How are you feeling lately? xx

Hi Heather, I haven't got round to trying to do the photo yet. I've been a bit upset today. Me and Martin had a big arguement and he left. Don't know if he's coming back or where he is. He's really made me angry and stressed and I don't need this at the moment.

Hi Heather, how are you? I don't feel so sick today, I hope it's wearing off now coz it's really annoying me now! I just want to enjoy my pregnancy! I was wondering whether or not you are showing yet? It seems like all of a sudden I have a bump!!! I had to go to mothercare world yesterday and buy maternity trousers coz I just can't fit into any of my trousers anymore! I'm starting to worry I'm having twins as it runs in mine and Martin's family! I feel sooooo much more comfortable now with the maternity trousers. I got a few tops for later on too. I have a question: sometimes if I am lying down or even just sitting and I get up too quickly, I get a realy bad pain in either my left or right lower abdomen, it also happens to me if I sneeze too. The pain is bad, it feels to me like muscle stretching or something but the pain takes my breath away. I don't remember having these pains with my daughters. The pain goes away quickly though. Have you had any pains like this? I have recieved some good news from the hospital, I have my 1st scan on Wednesday the 6th and I am so excited, I can't wait! Let me know how you're getting on. xx

Congrats on the good news!! I hope that the ultrasound goes excellent! I'm sure you'll have nothing to worry about. Sorry to hear about the morning sickness, I hope that diminishes very soon for you. I got stuck with all day sickness until I was 7 1/2 months!! I still have my episodes and I wouldn't wish that for anybody. So good luck!

Thanks for the kind words. 1 of the rooks died, it wasn't looking too good but the other 1 is eating fine and doing well. I got so annoyed with Martin last night. First or all he was having a coughing fit in the middle of the night that woke me up and I couldn't get to sleep again. I got him a drink but his cough just went on and on for what seemed like hours! When he finaly got back to sleep he kept snoring, it was doing my head in. I kept rolling him over, then he'd just roll onto his back and snore again. I was so tired, I felt like screaming! This morning I told him I was gonna call him Snartin coz he snores so much! I'm not feeling too sick today but I haven't served the kids dinner at school yet! It's my eldest daughters birthday on Sunday, she's gonna be 8 already! I can't believe how fast they grow up, you really need to enjoy them while they're tiny. I still haven't heard from the hospital, I want my scan!!!

Hi, I have been having trouble sleeping too. I wake up for no reason and then just find myself lying there awake for ages! My tummy hurts at night, think It's trapped wind, I hate it. I can't eat a lot at once, I feel really full even if I've only had a little bit. I have to sit for ages after I've eaten to let it go down. I haven't thrown up lately but I'm still feeling really sick. I keep changing positions in bed and I'm worried I'm gonna roll onto my tummy when I'm asleep and squash the baby! I'm hand rearing 2 baby rooks at the moment and I have to start feeding them at 5 in the morning so that's really hard for me too. I have a diploma in animal care and people brings me injured or abandoned creatures coz they know I'll help them. It's hard work at the mo though. xx

Hi hope you are ok. I haven't had any more appointments yet. I'm waiting to hear from the hospital when my first scan is, I can't wait! I have been feeling worse and worse as the days pass and I've been throwing up whenever anything smells odd. I was sooooo ill today and I didn't want to go to work. When I was walking to work I had to stop and sit down and I just burst into tears, I thought I was gonna faint! I'm also extremely tired all the time. Anyway, tell me how you are and how did your midwife appointment go? xx

Hi Heather, I'm feeling icky again today, nice. I love greyhounds, there are so many retired greyhounds looking for homes. Over here, we had our mother's day in March! Another girl wrote a message to say that she was told at 12 weeks she was having a boy! I'm hoping for another girl, it will be easier. I feel guilty coz we had just painted the spare room for our eldest daughter as they were sharing and she wanted a room of her own. I've now had to tell her that the baby will need it and I felt really mean. If it's a girl, my eldest can eventually have her room coz the 2 youngest could share. She took it well but she had picked the colour of the paint and everything, poor Elsie!

Hello! Thanks for taking the time to read my page! They did a blood test when they tested for Down's. They didn't even mention doing a CVS. If the blood test came back as high risk for downs they would've done further blood testing as the test produces alot of false positives. They said they would have done the amnio as a last resort but I probably wouldn't have done that as the results wouldn't have changed my mind about keeping the pregnancy. You should ask your Dr. about the Flintstone vitamins, my Dr. said they are perfectly fine to take instead of prenatals. I am still taking them today and haven't had any problems at all. I hope everything works out for you! Congratulations! Keep in touch!

Hello! How are you? I actually feel ok today! I'm tired but at least I don't feel sick too! We don't get tlc over here, I love watching baby things too when they're on. I know Battersea because of the dogs home there!!! Do you know if they can tell the sex of your baby at the 12 week scan or do you have to wait 'til the 20 week scan? I've never wanted to know the sex before but I do this time.

Sorry you've started getting sickness too, it sucks doesn't it? In the UK, when you find out you are pregnant you tell your gp who then gives all your care over to a local midwife. You have 1 midwife for all of your pregnancy. Obviously they send you to the hospital for ultrasounds and some checks, but for most of the pregnancy, the midwife comes to your house and does blood pressure and feels your tummy and does most of the care. It's nice to have 1 person, and I had this midwife for my 1st pregnancy so I remember her! How's it done in the big US? I'm not allowed to have a home birth as I had complications in my 1st pregnancy, and a c section. She said every pregnancy I have is classed as high risk even though my last pregnancy was normal and I had a normal delivery! She said they want me in hospital under consultant care when I give birth, even though most women go onto the ward that is run by just midwives. She said they'd just rather keep a close eye on things. Nevermind, I'm sure it will all be ok! I have found that eating a few dried apricots here and there through the day helps a bit with my sickness (but not always!) Anyway, I'm rambling on again!!! Think I'll go to bed now, I've got a horrible cold at the mo. Speak soon. xxx

Hi Heather, I've just seen the bit on your last message asking where I live, I must have missed that bit earlier! I live in Suffolk in the UK. I had my midwife out today! She just filled in loads of forms and checked my blood pressure and took a wee sample! I was hoping to have my baby in the local birthing unit as it's only about 10 mins away but she said they wouldn't let me as I had a c section with my first daughter and had probs. She said I would have to have consultant led care at the hospital, oh well. She is sending my paperwork off to the hospital and they will send me an appointment for an ultrasound! She said it should be at 12 weeks so I can't wait. I'm not feeling too sicky today. How are you?

Well I went to the Dr's this morning for the u/s, the heartbeat is still low at 69, but it did grow a little. So they said I have to come back next week and its just a waiting game. I'm besides myself...I just dont know and this Dr. I saw today was not very positive. They did say my levels were very good! I guess I just have to wait!
