Hello, I'm Crystal. I'm 25 and this is my second pregnancy. My first one was my son O, who is now 3 years old. He's the most wonderful thing that ever happened to me. We started trying for this one when my first was 5 months old (July of 06) and we just got pregnant in (July of 09) We found out 2 weeks ago that this one was also a boy! We are super stoked! I had O drug free and all natural... This delivery will most definitly be with an epi....

Okay ladies, I am now 36 weeks and 4 days. I am completely un-friggin-comfy. I am now WAAAYYY bigger than I was with my first son at 36 weeks. I have pain in just about every part of my body. Both my groin muscles feel pulled, the baby is in a weird position (butt in right side of my rib cage, head in my left hip, and both his hands and feet in my cervix), and I'm swelling like a jug of milk sitting in 100 degree weather.

On a better note, I have finished my nursery, and the Hubby and I have decided on a name... Cyrus Lee. Can NOT wait for this precious baby boy of mine to come OUT!!!

went to drs. appt. this morning and just now getting the chance to update on here!! the OB did the strep b testing, so ill find out the results on that next week at my following appt. i got my cervix checked as well.. and she said i am 2 cm dilated!!! (2 weeks ago i was only a fingertip..my ob said was hardly anything). so thats AWESOME progress! ALSO...the baby has dropped real low into the pelvis.. she could feel his head during the cervix exam! when she felt around the outside of my belly, right in the center pelvis... she said his head was right where it needed to be. we are getting an ultrasound at our next appt. (24th-wednesday) to recheck his weight and the excess fluid levels. she told me depending on how things look, she may induce in my 38th week... otherwise she will let me be till he comes on his own... unless he chooses to come before even 38 weeks. **********ALSO, ALL EVENING IVE BEEN LOSING MY MUCUS PLUG (BEFORE THIS PAST MONTH OR SO ITS BEEN CLEAR MUCUSY LIKE STUFF.... AS OF THIS EVENING..ITS BROWN, PINKISH, AND EVEN THICKER! I DEFINATELY AM/HAVE LOST ALOT OF THE REST MY PLUG! WHATS THIS MEAN? ANY AVERAGE TIMELINE TO LABOR? ANYTHING I SHOULD REFRAIN FROM DOING NOW THAT ITS COME OUT? I NEVER LOST MY PLUG WITH MY 1ST PREGNANCY..SO I DUNNO WHAT ALL THIS MEANS?

I dont mean to be a bitch but whenever i come on here and check my messages they're all from you. I'm not even in the same week as you and i have never talked to you.. Is there anyway of possibly taking me off the list of ppl you send messages to? I spend more time deleting your messages than reading about my pregnancy. Please dont think i'm being a bitch i'm just trying to be honest.

I tried to post on the board, but there was no spot to "add comment" I've only been delivered by midwives and am fretting this time b/c there is a possiblity that it will be a doctor. THEY ARE VERY IMPATIENT and give time restraints for pushing and what not! you can push as long as you want, do not let ANYONE tell you they need to give you a c-section. You'll know if you baby is in distress. Nurses have told me that we never have to push that the course of nature will eventually force the baby out, but pushing feels natural so we do it. I am always petrified of pushing and have not gotten an epi b/c i'm afraid to tear and don't want an episiotomey and I can feel more if there is no epi. my first also came out face up and it took me about an hour to push. he was only 7 1/2 lbs, my second came out in 6 minutes and he was 8 1/2 lbs (so I can't experience on the 9 lbers but it will be fine! good luck you can do it! just stay calm and strong as can be slow pushing with no rushing is the key!!

hi mummies and bumps ... hope we are all well . im slowly not fitting in to my jeans ... this will be the first time ever that il need to wear maternity jeans .... im soo happy, my wee guy moves about all the time , especially the early hours of the morning ...grrr !!! lol!!! im still having bad dreams tho .. oh and i was sick this morn, hadnt been sick for 4 days and i thot yippeeee sickness has gone ... had it hell !!! auch well as long as my wee guy is ok thats all that matters ... hugs n kisses xxx

hubby and I had our birthing class yesterday, to my surprise..he actually really enjoyed it! He had no problems asking the lady questions when he was curious about something, he participated in all the "practice" breathing technigues, and also participated in this relaxation movie thing that we all would lay on the floor and listen to this meditation type lady and...he fell asleep during a small part of it, but thats normal the lady said (haha)..but as soon as the lady on the tape told the coaches to sit up and start doing thigns she would say to the mom..he was right on it! we even had to watch THREE birthing videos.. one c-section, one semi graphic vaginal birth..and then the final one was the full on straight view of the delivery...while more then half the other dads were all "ew, gross, im not watching this, etc" and even the other expecting mothers (first timers) were all like "omg...gross...thats just wrong..etc." and the whole time adam and I were just staring at the tv watching in amazement (even tho i have been through it once before..i dont recall seeing it from THAT view! lol)...adam was even getting teary eyed over the full on view birth video.. he really enjoyed seeing it, and just knowing we will be going through that soon...really excites him! he prooved yesterday he will be an AMAZING supportive partner during our delivery... i cant wait =) ....(my first delivery was great, but my ex didnt really do a whole lot, wasnt involved and helpful much)
