Today Matthew is 2 months and 4 weeks...he is already over 11lbs and over 22 inches long....he smiles and cooes most of the day (he is such a happy and active baby) he even eats alot (over 35oz a day!!) loves kick and and turns in circles...I cant keep my eyes off of him. It is so sweet that as soon as dad gets home, he hears daddy's voice and whines until he is picked up by daddy....Yesterday he bought matthew 3 books and read them all to him. Matthew was in aww and just couldn't get his eyes off the books and daddy!!! It was so sweet...I wish I had a camcorder. Next Friday is Matthews 3 months appoint with is pediatrition. I cant wait to find out how much he grew!! :)
On November 28 2007 My husband and I welcomed our son Matthew Christopher (36.6wks) at 9:04pm 7lbs 2.5oz 18 inches. Our Christmas gift pretty eary this year!!!! Quite the amazing surprise!!! Detail on childrens tab :)
I am 35 weeks pregnant with my first baby.....Just found out its a boy!!!! (time to teach someone to be a good man to ladies). I was very scared at first being that my husband and I have only been together for a bit......but thank goodness he supports and takes great care of our baby and I.....and he is so patient with my crazy mood swings!! I love him so much for what he has done as a husband and father to be :)
October 13th 2007:
For my birthday we went and had a 3D Ultra sound...it was so cool...I was so excited and anxious....He moved around alot and was grabbing his toes and resting his hands on his knees...he even woke up and was lookin around!!! lol...i thought it was so cute...i cant wait to meet him. One of the pics with his eyes open are in my photo album!!!
Sleep is getting harder....and feel like im growing by the hour these past couple of weeks he has been really active!!! It even hurts sometimes!! We've decided on a name, no more he or him.......(but still my pumpkin) now its going to be Matthew Christopher....its official!!! WooHoo!!!!
October 21, 2007:
I Feel like im growing by the hour. At work standing is getting harder and more tiring....by the time I get home my back and legs feel broken. I'm trying to take it as a good sign that i'm getting closer and the baby is getting bigger and stronger by the day!
October 25 2007:
I had my OB appointment today and all is well; no protein, no sugar, blood pressure is on the dot and his heart rate is normal....2 more appointments and I will be going weekly....crossing the finish line!!! In 3 weeks I will be going for a birth tour at the hospital that I will be delivering at.
October 27 2007:
We will be moving this weekend to our own place and its gonna be nuts!! I cant help much with the lifting.....
I will finally be setting up my baby's nursey!! Im really excited about that :)
November 1 2007:
Mathews nursery is just about done and it is so cute!! I will be posting some pics soon!! :) Now time to start packing the hospital bag.
November 13 2007:
I had extreme amount of pain for about 7hrs last night and decided to go to the hospital. I had to stay there for the whole day and was hooked up on an IV. My pelvic bone had seperated and sitting and even walking hurts. Gettting out of the car is pretty painful as well...the doctor told me to take it easy and to try to keep my feet up as much as possible to avoid any more irritation to the hip and pelvic bones. So I gotta tell my work I cant anymore cause standing lifting and bending is just make the pain worse :(

That's awesome Helen! I'm glad Matthew is enjoying the baby einstein DVD...I wasn't sure if Joey would like baby einstein collection, but now we'll have to give it a try. 'Happy 3 month Matthew!' Hope all is well with the whole family.

Hey Helen! yes i had maddy on the 16th ...the day i was to go to be induced and i was already in labour when i got to the hospital and she was born after 5hours of labour! it was really quick and i didnt have too much pain and no epidural....she weighed 9lbs 7 oz too! Thanks again!

Wouldn't that have been something...but Joey wanted the 27th...LOL! He's a funny little guy...13 minutes earlier he would have had to shared his birthday with 2 other family members...I am happy with him having his own special day...not on Christmas, Christmas eve...or boxing day...but even more I love that he's finally here...I am able to hold him in my arms...he's my love! <3

i know i went 5 days overdue with my first one. i was hoping that this one would have came early...the doctor told me yesterday that it could be any day now....i would love to get this child out of me i am so tired of it! no registered yet but the hospital here was doing up my chart yesterday and she said that took about 2 hours to do.

yes moving was quite tiring and now i play the waiting game....i hope she comes tomorrow it would be nice to have a new years baby. ive been in a lot of pain..mostly in my back and the top of my belly is stretched so much that it hurts and even lotion doesnthelp ! oh well it will soon be over. Happy New Year!

If he's anything like Shawn and I he'll have quite the appetite and would want nothing more but to enjoy xmas dinner! I am enjoying him inside of me still...I just don't want him to be stressed from being in there too long...I was rubbing him in my belly for so long today...I don't have much time left and then he's coming out into the world and I'll have no belly to rub...I'll have my baby! :o)
As much as I want him here...I am enjoying our time together...and everyone else is very jealous and impatient because they want him here already!

Are you serious, still having drama with them??? That sucks big time, are they trying to tell you how to be a mommy? Im sure you feel bad about the yelling at your hubby but truth is he is the one that needs to put them in their place if they are being out of line cause if you have to do it im sure it isnt going to be as nice. Isnt it amazing how the little ones can drain you? How is he sleeping? Aint it funny not having a tummy after all this time I kinda felt empty in a sad way in the begining... dont get me wrong I was ready to be empty but like something was missing, then you pick up your lil one and it all goes away! I hate the idea of going back to work it is hard. Daycare is scary, but I think we have it under control. My boyfriend isnt working right now so if he still hasnt found a job by Jan. 7th he will be the caregiver. I love the idea but its just not reasonable longterm cuz of the $$$. If he does find something before I go back my sister who has a 7 month old said she would watch her. She is also going to be her godmother. Im kinda nervouse about it, really hopeing she can handle it... I guess only time will tell. Well girl be in touch and I hope lil Matthew is letting you get some rest... ttys

You know whats funny, is that Im on #4 and I still have people telling me what I should do and what I shouldnt... Im like are you kidding me??? Im patiently awaiting crossing that finish line but girl im sure as heck getting anxious. I keep reading about all the girls in my same week that have made progress and have started to dialate and then theres my stubborn lil girl who I think likes it in there... Oh well, when she's ready, she's ready I suppose. My b/f is getting nervous though. Today I caught him looking at her clothes and picking up a pair of her tiny socks. He's one of those that tried to play tuff but we all know the truth.

I totally see your reasoning and agree with you. Plus besides the fact of wanting to rest and spend one on one time with the baby, I mean really who wants that many people around thier new born... Im kinda in the same boat. My sister who had my niece in May is baptising her this Sat. I told her ahead of time, if I have the baby near the date, I wouldnt be going. She wasnt happy but understood. Looks like so far I'll be going though since this little booger is hanging in there. Now I have to find something that fits. You know when push comes to shove no matter how unhappy people are with your decisions and choices, they're yours and you need to do what not only you want but what you think is right.

LOL, isnt it funny how it always works that way when it comes to weight. I had a girlfriend that was somewhat in the same boat but didnt loose as much, but let me tell you, after she had the baby she eneded up loosing more that she had pre pregnancy and looked great! So your new clothes I think will defintetly motivate you. I've heard that breastfeeding is a great way to help with weight too. I didnt with my 3 kids but Im gonna give it another shot with the new baby.
