well i havent gained any weight with this pregnancy yet but after i had my son i was 18 pounds smaller than my pre pregnancy weight. with the 7 pound gain through the pregnancy i had an eight poun baby plus placenta fliud and all of the other pregnancy weight the end result was an 18 pound weight loss. in the 14 months since i have had him i have gained 26 pounds so now not only am i back to my weight but i have gained an extra 6 pounds so that means I am 1 pound lighter than what i weighed when i delivered. thats awful. so with this pregnancy i hope i only gain the same as i did for my son. just a little extra added pressure

I am nauseous all day long. I am happy I am not vomitting but this sick feeling really stinks. I am eating crackers and drinking water but I am really hoping I get into my second trimester quick! It is really taking a toll on me taking care of my 6 month old. I am glad he is not mobile yet - that has been a blessing.

Weight issues are a different story for me. I am a big girl to begin with and not losing much of the baby weight from my 6 month old; my doc doesn't want me gaining no more than 5 to 10 lbs. This is going to be a challenge!

Hi Humble -

I as well am hoping for a girl but as long as our child is healthy I don't mind having three boys. I love being pregnant - I am nauseous all day with this pregnancy which is new but before you know it baby will be here. I am not glowing much anymore I am giving off a green shade lately but still keeping pregnancy underwraps. I love having this secret.

In responce to Humble getting hungry all the time: You may want to try adding protein to your diet. Nuts and meat are great. sometimes I just have peanut butter on toast, nuts, nuts in my cereal, or when I’m busy a spoonful of peanut butter.

hello how are you. I can relate to what you are saying. i had a baby 14 months ago and i am starving this time around. i havent put on any weight yet, but i am heavy already and i can not afford to gain a pile of weight. my mom thinks that the reason i am more hungry this time is the last one was a boy and she seems to think you eat more for girls. i hope she is right ,but no matter what it is as long as it is healthy.

Thank you for the comment.. This is definatly something I didn't invite into my life.. it is a hard long struggle indeed.. I've been battling mine for over 7 years. As much as I want to wake up and it be gone.. I know it wont be that simple. Prayer has definatly been a big factor for me and this pregnancy.. I wanna do right and I don't want my baby ill or worse because of my disease. I really hope you're holding up well. If ever you need some support, I will be around! Congratulations on your pregnancy and I wish you all the best!

Hi Humble - we are in the same boat! I also have a 5 month old and am expecting. I am a bit scared and overwhelmed but overall excited. This will be our third child and we so tickled about it.

Responding to your post on the 7 weeks.....YES I can respond. I dont have a new baby BUT I have a 16 and 10 year old and thought I was done, was actually waiting to get my tubes tied!!! Can you belive it???? I have been a single parent most of my time and am with a wonderful man now, but I just dont know what to do....no options are easy and as time goes on I bond with it.....life can sure throw you surprises!!!! I work in the medical ield and am sooooo freaked to tell my boss......Anyway just thought I would share with you to let you lnow you are not alone!!!
