Hello everybody,

Well i just thought i would update you with Rubys progress and developments !

Ruby will be 13 weeks old this Thursday and i really dont know where time has gone.

My Newborn baby isn't newborn anymore! She is growing so much you will not believe. The last time she was weighed was when she had her 1st set of injections 2 weeks ago and she was a whopping 13lb's. I will be taking her to get weighed again this Thursday so i'll update you again with her new weight.

She seems to be a really content baby, everybodys comments on that about her, which is good for me !

She feeds every 3hrs and takes 210ml which i think is about 7 1/2 oz. I feed her religiously every 3hrs so Im feeding her up so she sleeps all night which she does. She has been sleeping 7.30pm - 7.30am for around 4 weeks now and i think she has differentiated between day and night. She knows when its bedtime because the lights go out and its all quiet in the bedroom - Apart from her fave CD's, from being a tiny baby we have played music to her such as snowpatrol and David Gray to sooth her and it works ! We leave it playing and leave her and then thats it she's asleep !

I absolutely love being a mum, love it. I thought i was going to turn out tp be a total disaster at it because i was rubbish with babies before i had her, i wouldnt even hold my nephew when he was born, i was too scared and i have never even chamged a nappy before, the midwives at the hospital had a bit of a shock when i asked them to show me how to do it, but my mum always said to me dont worry it will come to you all at once when you have your little one there and it did, it all came together as soon as Ruby was born i instantly knew what to do it was fantastic. The bit i have found the hardest is finding time for me and my fella Ste, we need to try and make some time for eachother which is hard becuase all my time is taken up with the little lady but we've said we'll both try and make time.
