Scheduled C-Section Thursday Aug. 2nd, 2007 at 2:30pm
It wasn't until late Jan. that I discovered that we were expecting. We were very shocked as I was on depo for a long time. The nurses did a couple of pregnancy tests to make sure it was not a false positive, or false negative. Than on Feb. 3rd I believe, there she was just a wigglin on the ultrasound. J was holding my hand and I was crying out of fear and joy. It was hard on us for the first month but it all seemed to just come together naturally. Expect the unexpected!
We are very happy and looking forward to our lil Mon-Sta arriving!

June 11th, 2007
I spent almost a week and three trips to the hospital which I have not done since I was a premature. I spent two days on morphine on the first visit, the second visit I needed pain meds more than the first time. I was in 12+ hours of agony with gas filling up my chest and stomach. The docs. did not accomplish anything worthwhile the first two visits. The third visit I went in for a fever at 103.3 which had to be higher 6 hours earlier. I was a total mess and I am just now starting to get my strength back a week later. I am not eating a whole lot these days and have a lot of concerns. I made my way to Burger King today which is odd just to meet some caloric content for the day. I have to literally force myself to eat right now. I'm hoping for an early delivery but a safe one. These days I am so uncomfortable and I am driving J crazy at night. I get up at least 5-6 times a night to urinate and toss and turn. I know that I will have less than 10 weeks to go at this point. I'm a little nervous about giving birth but was cool with it when I was on morphine the other week. lol Ugh, I just want to be normal and sleep on my belly. lol
June 18th
So this is theme we have picked for Kalea. I went to walmart this last week and the Carebear stuff was half off. So J's mom and J bought her some stuff for her crib. :) If they had My Little Pony I would have picked that. But I love Carebears too...so here it is!

June 28th
Went to the doctor's today and I am measuring at 37 weeks. I knew there was an issue with the baby and it's size when a ultrasound tech told me my baby was 3.8 pounds during week 29. I think we are off a few weeks on my due date and I have a big baby. So now I'm looking into a C-Section and am not happy about it.
July 11th
J and I went to my doc apt at 10:15 which took an hour to be seen like the last three visits. I am 50% effaced and now he is saying I am two weeks ahead of schedule by ultrasound. Ugh..I don't know what to say other than Kalea will make it out when she's ready! I still think she is coming by the end of the month! :)
J and I ordered Kalea's cake at Costco yesterday for Kalea's second baby shower! I can't wait to see how it turns out!!! A close family friend named Maria and I are going to look for decorations tomorrow. I'm really excited and I think I'm finally ready for her arrival. <3 you Kalea!
July 16th
We had the best second baby shower ever on Saturday! Our first one with J's family wasn't very exciting but the one with all of our close friends was just amazing! I am so glad I planned that party but I had no idea we would all have this much fun!!! We had more gifts and items than I ever could have thought possible. J and I had a bbq with chicken and hot dogs, chips and homemade salsa, watermelon, and all the drinks. We started at 4:30pm and ended up swimming with a bunch of our friends at 9:30. Than around 11am we did a Taco Bell run and I ended up with one less item...lol Our last guest left at 12:20am...J and I really needed the love and support...It meant a lot to us!
July 25th
Well our measurement through ultrasound went from 4 weeks ahead, to 2 weeks ahead, and now normal. I think our doctor has not been a very good one. He had no explanation at all for what was going on. In any case, I registered at Carson/Tahoe hospital and if I go there we will have to have another doctor deliver Kalea. Last night was not fun at all. I had these weird tingles from my butt to my thigh which tickled from anything touching my skin, and than my box hurt on my right side like someone punched it. I woke up all night dreading getting out of bed because the pain would amplify. I'm 1cm dilated and awaiting for Kalea to come out. Oh yea, and I hit the 2 0 0 lbs mark at the doc office, a 9 pound gain in two weeks. Don't get me wrong, I ate everything you wish you could have eaten! :) I asked the nurse for a sticker for my accomplishment and it was not taken with humor, more like disgust. lol
August 2nd,
Well yesterday we went into the doctor's office and found out August 2nd at 2:30pm is the time for the c-section. We are arriving at 12:30pm to St. Mary's in Reno to get prepped for the surgery. I'm a little nervous and scared but I know it will be a good time to bring her into the world. Recovery isn't going to be fun but I will get through it with J's help. :) We love you Kalea. Thank you to everyone who has been apart of this pregnancy site. I am printing a copy of this page and all the messages for my daughter to read once she is ready to have children.

I miss being able to look down and see you, I miss being able to see you while I'm shaving,..and I miss you being so firm and beautiful. You're poofy...can't get all the hair all the time...and I'd like J to visit you more often but I'm sometimes embarrassed of you...I hope you will come back and see me again after Kalea is born. I miss you!
