Hang in there honey! It's almost over. I understand your feelings. My emotions have been a bit unstable lately as well. Mainly because my aunt is terminally ill and it is just a matter of time before she passes. We all are heartbroken over her condition so I am praying for strength as well as understanding. It's hard trying to cope with something like this while needing to consider my child that needs me to be well. Take care!

I don't know if anybody answered your question about figuring the baby's weight, but it's done during an ultrasound. They have a formula that they plug different measurements into taken from the baby and then they use it to estimate a weight. It's not totally acurate. I just asked the Dr to do it during an ultrasound. Sometimes if he's busy he won't do it but if they have time, they don't mind.

When you do the GD test just do as you normally would,afterall, the baby and not the results of the test matter.

i would suggest not eat a meal that is high in carbs as they turn in to sugar. also don't eat anything for at least 3 hours before you go. it should help to pass the 1 hour test.

Regarding the GD test and sugar intake...I eat lots of sweets AND I'm an "old lady" and I passed the 1hour with flying colors. My test was early in the morning, so I hadn't eaten anything the day of the test and hadn't eaten since around 10pm the night before, but what I did eat during the previous day was my usual...grilled cheese, pretzels, apples, ice cream, etc. Hope that info helps

he insists on Joseph as his middle name also, after his grandfather..i understand but to be real, im just sick of that name and anytime i talk of the baby i just say baby ..not stephen, he already calls him Stephen already, he says i had 3 names to pick out and he is picking his sons name since hes never got to do this and it will be his only child..i want him happy but i also want to like my childs name???

I have now stopped taking them, my consultant told me to take them as i am expecting but i felt great until i started the tablets and since not taking them i feel slightly better, i will ask him next week to give me another type.

Thank you for replying,i hav ebeen taking my iron tablets with my breakfast and with a glass of orange juice and i still feel sick... i am going to start taking them every other day and seeif that helps i have an appointment with my consultant next week so i will mention it to him.

Are you taking Iron tablets too? and how are you feeling?

So recently I went thru the exact same thing. I took as warm a bath I could stand to help draw out the heat from my legs. It was easier to stand than the shower because its a soak not a direct spray. It does burn but I felt releif by the next morning.

Yeh, I totally get it!! The other weekend he just kept doing stupid things, like I asked him to sweep the porch, as we had just done all the housework and people kept walking dirt in off the porch, so he swept the porch, but swept all of it onto the step that leads to the porch - doh! He did like 5 things in a row of equal stupidity that day :D But at least he was trying (I guess). Good luck biting your tongue!!
