Hey ladies, I am new to this website so bare with me! I am 26 years old, and I had my first baby at 16, and could not have been happier! And she was not an accident, we tried for her! She is anything and everything to me. I have had 3 previous miscarriages, and pray that God lets me keep this one. I am ready, and I think that God knows that as well. My fiancé and I are so excited to be pregnant. He is a daddy of two, and cant wait to be a daddy of 3! Plus my best friend and I are pregnant at the same time. Since we have known each other, we have said we wanted to be pregnant together, and bam, here it is. She is 8 weeks ahead of me though! We are just hoping that everything is ok with mine! This will be my last one, so boy or girl does not matter to me, just as long as the baby is healthy! I wish everyone the best! God Bless!

October 19th- On my lunch break I decided that I was going to run to walgreens and get a few things. I was 2 to 3 days late with my period, so I decided to grab a pregnancy test just to make sure. It was the one that shows two lines if you are pregnant! So I get back to work and decide to take it there. I took it, and waited one minute and saw one line, so i put it in my purse (cause we all know ladies that we are going to look at it every five minutes incase it changes, lol). So I get back to my desk and decide to look at it one more time. Glad I did, because I saw a very very faint second blue line. I felt my face turn white and my body get weak. I was like, "no way, am I seeing things"? So I went into my boss's office and told him that I left my credit card at walgreens and had to run back up there. (I did not want anybody to know anythign just yet). So I ran up to Walgreens and bought a digital one this time! The lady that checked me out the first time had a puzzled look on her face, so I told her that the first one came out positive I believed. I had the biggest smile on my face when I said it, she could tell I was happy! And I was! So I get back to work and take the digital one (I was peeing every 5 minutes these past couples of days, so that was not a problem do it again, lol). I turned around to look at it, and it said PREGNANT! Yay, it was confirmed now! I got back to my desk and was glowing like any pregnant woman would when they saw pregnant and wanted it to be that. So I took a picture of it and sent it to three people. My fiance, and 2 best friends. Needless to say, my cell phone and work phone was ringing off the hook! It was the 3 I had told, and they were so happy and could not believe it! Neither could I! So today, I found out I was going to be blessed with another beautiful baby, and I could not be happier!

November 5th- First dr's appointment. My fiance got off work for a while to go with me, we are very excited! The nurse made me take a test as they always do, and she said it came back positive within less than a minute, which was a good sign. She said, "well mam, you are very pregnant", that put the biggest smile on our faces. Then we go in to see the dr, and she tells me that I am not getting an u/s, that she wanted to do blood work and have me come back on friday for one, after she knew what my hcg level was. We were a little disappointed cause we wanted to see our little one. But 4 more days was ok with us! So that was how the first appointment went!

November 9th- My fiance and I went in for our first u/s! So we get in the room, and the nurse has him stand outside the room while I get undressed! (How does she think we got here in the first place, he and I both found that kind of funny)! So he gets back in the room and she gives us the u/s! She sees our little bean, and says that I was 7 weeks along, (I thought I was 8, so I was a little disappointed)! But I was glad to just see a little baby in there, or gummy bear as she so says. How cute! Then we see its little heart beating, OMG, we were so thrilled! That made our day! That is really all we wanted to see! Something to confirm we were pregnant! Yay! Can you tell I am excited? lol! My fiance and I left there and decided to call everyone we had not called yet, since we finally had a picture to confirm our pregnancy. June 27th, and we are going to have our little baby!!!!!!!!!!!!

November 15th- Got home from work, went to the restroom and wiped down there and could not believe what I saw. Alot of blood, on the toilet paper and filled the bottom of the toilet! My reaction was not good. Started crying histerically, and called my fiance, he came over right away! I hugged him and told him that I could not go through another m/c! So I calmed down and called the dr. He asked me if I was cramping and I told him not one bit. He said then he thinks that everything should be fine, but to come in in the morning for an u/s to make sure everything was ok. So all night, I had tons of people praying for me and the little one! Trust me, my fiance and I were praying alot as well! (which we should start doing no matter what the situation!)

November 16- Went to the dr with my fiance for the u/s! The first thing that the ultrasound tech said was, well guys we still see a baby that is growing (grew from 9mm to 15.5 mm), very good sign! And the heart was beating at a rate of 165, another very good sign! So the dr said not to worry now, that I probably just popped a blood vessel from my unterus growing! I was a ok with that! Our little baby is just great and I am much better now! YAY!!!!!!!

November 30 - Today I went to the dr. for one of those 2 hour appointments that turned out to be 3 hours. Boy was it booked! Everything went well! I heard the babies heartbeat today and boy was it fast! Cant wait to find out what I am having!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

December 13 - Went for my check up today ladies, and boy was it the best one by far! I got an ultrasound right when I walked in. This time it was one on the belly and not vaginally. That was a plus right there! At 8 weeks my ultra sound looked like a little gummie bear, and this time it looked like a real baby bouncing, rolling, and playing around. It was truly amazing. If you look at the bouncing baby on week by week (10 weeks), it looks just like that one! I just did not want it to end! My babies heart beat was 157. I asked her to give me an idea of what she thought it was, and she said that she thought it was a girl, but only 30 percent sure. So thats nothing really to go by, so it looks like I will be waiting until February 15th to find out for sure. Thats only 2 months away, so I am ok with that! Well ladies, I will write more later. We tell the kids on Christmas day, so I will write and tell you how that went! Yay! Almost done with my first trimester! Whoooooo hooooooo! Another wonderful day today because I got proposed to!!!!!!!!!!!!! Ladies, I love my ring, I love my fiance', I love my daughter, and the new baby to come. Lets just say that I LOVE LIFE!!!!!!!!!!!!!

December 26 - Got my Intelligender test in the mail today! I can not use it until in the morning. It has to be my first pee of the day! :-(. So it is sitting in my purse waiting to be used! By no means am I going by it but I figured that it would be fun! I just want to see if it is correct for when I find out on February 15th! Wish me luck. Can you tell that I am very anxious to find out what I am having!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

December 27 - Well ladies, I woke up at 4:30 and had to pee, so I took the Intelliginder test as well. They say you need to do it with your first pee of the morning once you go to sleep and wake up again. So I took it and checked it 10 minutes later and it stayed orange, which mean a baby girl! If it turns green it is a boy, and if it is orange than it is a girl! My doctor also told me at 11w6d that she thought it was a girl. Of course I am not going by this test one hundred percent, but ladies, I do think it is right! I will know for sure February 15th. If it is right, I will be recommending it to everyone. I say any woman should do it now, just to have fun with it and see if it is right when they go for their u/s! Well ladies, there you have it. I am thinking PINK! No matter what, this is my last one! January 2 - Went to the dr. this morning and got to hear my babies heart beat again. This time it was 145. Was very excited about that! Then I got more good news! The dr. asked me if I would like to move my ultrasound up to February 1st instead of February 15th? I was like ummmmm, hell yeah. lol. This is the best news all year so far! A month of waiting is ok for me! Well ladies, I will update more later. Ta ta!

January 8 - Well everyone..... I told my daughter last night that she was going to be a big sister! I went to my best friends house, and I had my other best friend meet me over there to see her face when she opened her gift! So when everyone got there, she read her card that was in it, then she headed on to open the gift that was in the bag. She opens it and it is a picture of the baby (it looked just like a baby, not a gummy bear), she was confused until she read the name on it. Then she was like "mommy, this is your baby, it has your name on the side right here",! She started freaking out and saying is this really in your belly? She could not quit talking about her baby brother or sister (but she said she really wants a sister) all night long. We even went to bed (yes, she still sleeps with me) and she would not go to sleep until like 10:30 cause she was talking about it all night! Lets just say that everything went as planned guys and I could not be happier to get it out in the open now!

January 10 - Hey there, just thought that I would let everyone know that instead of finding out what I am having Feb 1st, I changed it to Jan. 28th. We are flying out too early on Feb 1st to make it to that appointment. So they changed it for me to a sooner appointment. 4 days guys is a big difference! I am thrilled. Just thought that I would share my excitement with all of yall!~

January 21 - Mommy had been feeling your little thumps since this day! I surely cant wait to feel full blown kicks! Just rememeber, in the belly is the only time you will get away with kicking mommy! :)

JAN 28 - ITS A LOVELY LITTLE GIRL! MADELYN JADE, I AM SO READY TO MEET YOU! (My daughter did get to go with me and she is so thrilled! I loved watching her face when the tech said 100% girl!)

February 4 - Daddy finally felt you kick for the first time! We were laying on the couch and you were kicking mommy really hard! Daddy was so happy, cause he has been trying to feel you since about a week ago! Yay, thank you for letting him feel you!

February 5 - its me big sis i love you so much I heard you let daddy feel you they got so happy. and i didnt get to see his face light up. darn school i am taking a test . so you are the one whos giving me good luck.got to go going skating. P.S i will be thinking about you why im skating!

February 19 - Hello there ladies! I went to my 20 week (but am 21 weeks of course) appointment yesterday! Lets just say that everything looked wonderful! Little Madelyn is still a she, you never know these days if they are correct, but I know now! She weighs a pound the tech said, all her fingers and all her toes, all four chambers of her heart look great, her brain looks great, lets just say that everything looks amazingly well! Which I am so relieved its not even funny! I am still exactly 21 weeks and 4 days! I know the exact day I conceived so I know that my due date will not change, she might get here earlier though! Can you tell my excitement?!?! It is such a blessing to know that my little girl is doing good in the belly! I wish everyone out there a healthy pregnancy!

February 28 - Went to the doctor yesterday and was told that I have gained a total of 8 pounds this whole pregnancy, and was shocked cause I was for sure it was more cause I eat all the time, but I guess that it helps that I eat healthy! Im not really worrying what I put on as far as weight, because I know that once she gets here and I start breastfeeding my tummy will go down alot! She also said that it looks like I am goingt o have a big baby because when I went at 21 weeks my little girl was already a pound. She said thats ok though cause she is healthy and thats all that matters. My stomach is measuring perfect for 6 months she said! I did have 2 abnormal pap smears so I get to go in for a biopsy next tuesday to see whats going on in there. I am trying not to worry, cause I want to enjoy this pregnancy, as it is my last! So far ladies, this pregnancy is going along very smoothly and could not be happier! :) Hope everyone else is having a good pregnancy and I wish yall the best!

March 4 - Went to get a colpolscy(?), and found out that everything was fine! I had 2 previous pap smears before that and found out it was nothing! Yay! I weighed in at 137, was 139 when I went last friday! So I believe I am doing good with my weight, even though I dont try! I love food, and it loves me! lol! I was 131 pre-pregnancy wieght, so I am pleased! Ill be back in 2 weeks for another update, as I go every two weeks now!

April 11 - Started having contractions at work about a minute apart and it looked like I had started losing my mucos plus, so I called the dr and she said to come in right away! I went in and got hooked up to their monitor, and sure enough, I was having them 45 seconds apart! They sent me right away over to the hospital to get them to stop them! They gave me 3 shots of Tributelene (?) for the first 20 minutes, then a steroid shot for Madelyn's lungs in case she was to come! Thank god everything worked out in mine and her favor, the contractions stopped that night and she is fine! She scared the ibby jibbys out of me though, its way to early for her to come! I did get to get an ultrasound before I left and she was looking very healthy and lovely. The nurse even said she had some hair, yay! My first did not! So thank the lord she is still baking as long as she can!
