Madelyn Jade (Maddy J for short), was born June 22, 2008! She weighed 6 pounds 14 ouces, and was 19 1/2 long! I went into labor at 6:00 pm and had her and 4:06 am! Ten hours of labor, not too shabby! I went all natural up until 8 centimeters, then I could not take it any longer! I know, I was almost there, but I had too! I held off as long as I could! I pushed for 5 minutes and bam there my little girl was. I did not rip, he cut me, and said it was a medium cut! I was bleeding excessively and they had to give me a shot to stop the bleeding. That was very scary, but if that was the only thing that went wrong, then I can not complain! Maddy is now 13 weeks and is as beautiful as ever. She looks just like her daddy, no doubt! Everyone calls me the nanny or step mom cause she looks nothing like me. I think that she will look like me when she gets older though! I had to start back to work when she hit 12 weeks and miss her so much throughout the day! But thank god her daycare is 10 minutes away cause I go see her everyday for lunch! I love it! The first time she gets sick from daycare, I know that I will probably want to quit my job and be an at home mom just so she does not have to deal with getting sick all the time, but I will stay strong for her! She is a trooper and will be fine! I have faith!
