Hi there,

I work for a television production company based in the UK . We are currently making a documentary for ITV1 exploring the issues surrounding pregnancy and eating disorders. The film will be a thoughtful and insightful look into this extremely sensitive subject.

We’re in the research stage of our production and very keen to chat to women who are, or have been, pregnant whilst having an eating disorder.

hey! i'm doing ok - glad you are too - it's so hard to get the time to come online now isn't it!!

Cery's is doing great - she was 7lb 8oz on Thursday and will be weighed again on Thursday coming. She's still breastfed but only gained 1oz last week - i didn't think that it was enough but the health visitor told me not to worry - so long as i know that she is eating then that's the main thing.

she's 5 weeks old today - how time flies eh!! can't remember what it was like before she was here!!!

WHAT really!No dialtion, well that may sneak up and surprise ya, But period cramps for sure are more like end of pregnancy bh, and they feellike when the real thing starts I was tild this wk, I had them bad....
Well cervix soft is a good start!well finger tip in means ur 1cm then, 2 finger tips is 3cm...
Induction eh, hum well , maybe she will just break ur water..I odnt think u will need a c setion
Yeah is real weird I had an epidoral with my first 2 and i mean yeah its awsome u feel nothing, but cant pee or walk even after...but even know i plan to go without, and i did with the last 2, i still find my self screaming for it when its too late, it is a life saver but yes the idea is a lil crazy...

sweep didnt work , no way, really, every time for me it has worked within hurs afterwards...
Thats crazy well have lots of sex and do lots of walking,,,,,,I am getting 1st sweep on the 12th she diesnt think i will still be pregnant, I have a feeling I will, crazy cntractions wed, none since, Ia m 37 wks today ( by u/s due date)and 36.5 by obs new due date, I had last daughter at 36 and oter 3 kids at 37,I had my hopes up large for this wks appointment, and i have been so impatient since, but who am I to ocmplain, u are gonna b 13 days over due, I feel for yah, oh my, see my ob said if i dont have baby by 12th shes stretch me into labor, and If by chance I was still prego at wk 38(by her due date) then she will induce me casue i have so much pain, cause hes so low, and she said If i have any contractions Fri ( today) or sunday, to come in to hospital, shes the on call dr, and she will let me staya nd shes comfortable with me going into labor at this stage, so bf is at work, so I cant have sex, so I am gonna finish cleaning, and then here in ontario(canada) its the hottest day yet this yr, we have not had much hotter then 24 a few times today is 30 but feels like 41 w humity, yah forst real summer like day, I am off to walk and I amdeterminded to ewalk till he falls out( i get contractions just walking to the washroom) and she said his head cant get any lower.....I hope u go in on ur own..., make sure u let me know, are u dialted at all yet, or effased? sry I just realized ia m like writing a book here, lol ...........

Hey since this is r first a recommend u ask fro the laughing gas ( it didnt do much for pain) wellmaybe i was in too much pain to notice, but u breath it in while having a cntractions as a pain killer, and hionestly, ur not all out of it and what it did for me was regulated my reathing,s et me in a pattern, and really helped more that way, I really liked it! It keep u occupied and in control of ur self!

yeah - good luck with that - was woken up middle of night last night with period pains but they're gone now... so frustrating!!!

no, nothing yet - well have been losing my plug slowly and had a bit of a show last night and today (well, i've had a bit of really heavy discharge which is a funny colour but not quite blood if that makes sense!) and I haven't been
able to sleep much at all at night so i'm hoping it's the start of something. I'm the same as you - just a bit impatient and we're having great weather in Scotland so that's not helping at all!!! Got to go to hospital on monday so I'm hoping they do a sweep or something then. They did say they wouldn't let me go too far over because of my history (kidney failure as a child) but I think they've forgotten that - going to remind them while there!!!!
