You shouldn't give your baby tylenol. That's why they don't have a dosage for a baby that young on the box. I live in Canada and they took all of their infant tylenol off the shelves. You can give your baby Infant tempera though. There IS an actual dose for a baby that young on the box... all of that to say that I just got my baby's needles last Friday and didn't give her anything before hand. She wasn't fussy afterwards. In fact she just nursed a little more and slept more than usual. She did get a fever about 9 hours later (101.3F) but she didn't seem fussy so I didn't give her anything. We went to bed and I kept checking her throughout the night. Her fever never went higher and she was fine without the meds. Just wanted to share our experience to say that you DON'T always need meds.

i looked at mybabycanread and it looks great. you can do that at home with out the viedos too. Gwen had a ring of baby einstine pictures and some flash cards that we used to practice when she was around a ear old. They just memorise the word just like when you play "show me your eyes". I still think it is cool. Kids can learn so much, but it takes devotion, time, and you have to keep doing it or they will forget.

I can't deside if i should pick her up and change her...becasue I am sure she is poopy. See now she is asleep again..what?

JoJo has been in the swing since you dropped her off. I think she going to wakeup now. She has had such bad gas while she was sleeping & it stunk!

Well, I'm no doctor but I can tell you that Evin did the same thing. He'd often go 5-6 hours without showing signs of hunger. Like you, I thought that he'd just let me know when he was hungry. But my doctor told me that it is a cycle of them being so hungry that they're lethargic and don't really make any signals. So, he told me to make him eat every 3 hours during the day and 4-5 at night. I hope this helps but please know that I'm just sharing info with you--you do what's best for your kiddo.

My kiddo is almost 10 weeks and we had a check up yesterday. I thought he was old enough to go a little longer between feedings but the doc said no. He said that babies as young as our have to eat every 3 hours during the day but you can go 4-5 hours at night. I'm in the process of getting my baby on a schedule so I can go back to work and I've got my baby on a 7 feedings a day schedule. To make it work for us both, I have stretched a couple of daytime feedings to 3 hours and 15 minutes and even one to 3 and half hours but it was the only way we could make it work and he seems fine so I'm going with it. Good luck! Your baby is gorgeous, by the way! Congrats.

Thanks! I am sorry I never got back with you. We FINALLY have made the transition. The Breastflow bottles didn't work for her...actually the Dr. Brown nipples were the key, but I have to put them in the Playtex airvent bottles so she doesn't get too much air. What a nightmare! hehe She still throws a fit about the bottle off and on, but she is doing VERY well! Especially for only taking a bottle for like 4 days now...and also she is going back and forth from breast to bottle. She is so talented! hehe How are you doing? Thanks for all of your help! I nearly panicked thinking she wouldn't make the bottle in time! :)

Thanks, I will try!

Is there a trick to the breastflow bottles? It just seems weird to me, I turn it upside down and it just pours out. Any suggestions?
