Helllooo all you Mummies out there! I'm expecting our second child, due in September... looking forward to welcoming our angel baby Virgo :D

I think this site is great, as it brings home that I am not the only one going through the preggo highs and lows / it's nice to know you are all out there and to hear your thoughts / advice and experiences.

On that note, best wishes to you all for a happy, healthy and safe pregnancy. Let the countdown begin ;)

Hi Jackie,
Thanks for your comment about the Bugaboo. I actually bought a Cameleon yesterday and love it! Perfect for where I live.

makes it easier being able to do a little bit of work from home i bet. i think you'll be doing great to manage all that work! i'm finishing up on the 29th of june, ill be 30 weeks along and just about over it! my tummy will get in the way too much if i work any longer. ill just do admin work for my 'husband' from then on. do you know what your having? do you have a daughter already?

stacka - Thursday, 1 May
LOL shopping bug.. i think i had that before i was preg! I am very happy to be pregnant over winter not summer, though my heater has not been off the last 3 days! my pregnancy is going great now, at that really nice stage. how bout yourself? are you all excited getting ready for the little ones arrival? are you working at the moment?

tracmac - Thursday, 1 May
No, we are renting at the moment and have to put off buying till I am back at work next year. I will have to get a cot that converts to a toddler bed incase the monkey climbs out like my daughter did at 12mths!

the ENT DR did some test and knew what side my "rocks" were out of place in i was joking with the dr about it. i told him to shake my head and see if he can hear them lol. but he did some positioning of my head and it went away, although i still get dizzy alot but its not the same thing as it was then.

I did report her - so did someone else. I believe she wrote something pretty disturbing on the forum as well so they deleted her... she kept at it and they deleted her AGAIN!

juliemommy2be - Wednesday, 30 April
i wish i had vacation time or sick time but i dont have anything so when i go on maternity leave i am only going to be getting short term disability and it doesn't pay a whole lot. but we will make it through it.

leeleesmom - Wednesday, 30 April
Hey, I find it so funny you are backwards lol. I really felt a little disappointed only because I saw the look on my husbands face when the ultrasound tech said it was another girl. I was really hoping for a little boy but like you said I guess we will try again. I am starting to get used to the idea of having another girl because my daughter is so happy about it and I love the little dresses. I hope the third times a charm for you and me lol ttyl

Loving the bonds suits. I just bought the stripey blue one with 'no buttons' last week, so cute! I just need to get a few more 000 growsuits then I should be right for a while too. Cant do the nursery thing this time as bubs has to share the room with us. I know! Its insane. But we cant expect a 13 year old boy to share or even a 9 year old blasting her cd's away to share with a baby, so the munchkin is in with us till we move.

tracmac - Wednesday, 30 April
Thanks Jack. I think I have just about exhausted Eastland, Babyco and Baby Bunting. You are not missing much in Pumpkin Patch. I was in there the other day, but only bought a pair of maternity jeans. Maybe after the baby is born I will get into the baby clothes, but not much grabbed me for a newborn at the moment.

tracmac - Wednesday, 30 April
Oh also Jack, whats Kid Central at Chadstone? Is it like Toys R Us? I havent been to Chaddy for years, but I wouldnt mind going soon for a bit of a look around for some things for the baby.

Hi Jackie, the nesting has not quite kicked in yet, but I want it to! There is so much I need to do, and when I look around I wonder if its all going to get done in time. You know, things like handprints on the walls, skirtings, cornices etc. I am trying to put things away as I go and trying to focus my x-ray vision into cupboards to know whats in there, and what is staying and going. De-cluttering helps, but its the big cleaning jobs that overwhelm me. Its enough just to keep up with the day to day stuff. I would love to get a spring cleaning team in but we will be struggling financially to make that happen I think. Its allways down to time and money and the lack of, isnt it. My cousin said she thought the same when she was pregnant, then bang she hit 7mths and was down on her knees scubbing the grout with a toothbrush and bleach, so I hope that happens to me!

Julsie - Tuesday, 29 April
Hi Jackie,
I live in New York, and am also considering a Bugaboo. I hear they are a pain to get in and out of a car, but since I live in Manhattan and don't have a car, it's not a worry. They are a dream for walking.

tracmac - Tuesday, 29 April
Hi Jackie, I am from Australia too, and now I am on your page I see you are also in Victoria. Congrats on your pregnancy! Just saw your post on prams. Its such a dilemma isnt it! I personally dont know anyone with a buggaboo, but I just layby'd a Mountain Buggy Elite at Baby Bunting. The lady at work said her daughter has a buggaboo, but I dont know which one, I could ask what she thinks. Good luck!

Hi Jackie,
I know what you mean about bullies, boys or girls, i too have experienced both, its a shame there arent more parents like you and i in the world and maybe the world would start to become a nicer place hey!
Im actually starting to come round to the idea of having a little boy, your first mail really made an impact on me, again i thankyou for that. But as each day dawns and i feel the little kicks (and the big ones) i remember the little life inside me and how special a gift it is, regardless of pink or blue! This baby is mine and i love it no matter what!
Im lucky to be pregnant, what a priveledge it is and how special is the miracle of each new life, who am i to be choosy hey haha.
Well a huge thankyou for all your kind and wise words,
All the best to you
Regards
Theresa xxx
