Hi there,

I work for a television production company based in the UK . We are currently making a documentary for ITV1 exploring the issues surrounding pregnancy and eating disorders. The film will be a thoughtful and insightful look into this extremely sensitive subject.

We’re in the research stage of our production and very keen to chat to women who are, or have been, pregnant whilst having an eating disorder.

Corey isnt too well at the moment, Freya has had a nasty cold, and now naturally Corey has it, hes quite snuffley and seems quite mucousy when hes sick after feeding, which of course is more at the moment, hes not really a sicky baby but i guess its to be expected with his cold. bless him.

Oh bless you, you sound really upbeat now and thats lovely. Bet you love having your mum there with you hey - does she live far from you then? Mind you everyone is far away in Aus arent they compared to here that is LOL.

Its great not having to go to work isnt it, mind you the time goes all too quickly doesnt it, i really intend to make the most of it once i can get out and about and finally drive again,

Mind you its autumn here now, today really dull and wet, quite depressing really, however, all i need do is put my little man in my arms and all that disappears, hes so adorable.

Are you going back to work? I will return to what i was on before, 3 days a week. Thats a nice balance actually, means i get the 4 days off with the children and still keep my hand in at work. Mind you when its time to go back i just know im gonna hate leaving the children again, specially Corey being so little.

Freya was 14months when i went back to work, i took some unpaid leave, not so sure if i can do that this time though so it will just be the 9 months i expect, we'll see though.

Well, im glad you are feeling better mate, enjoy the time with your mum. My mum has just gone on a 3 week carribean cruise! bless her, shes waited a long time for it though!

Hi I saw your comment and the guidelines here in the UK are the same no bumpers but we will just remove them from the cot when he starts going in it until he is much older as we did with our daughter so at the moment they are just for show as he sleeps in a moses basket in our room.

We put our daughter and will also put our son in sleeping bags and they cannot really wriggle up to the top of the cot in them anyway but we still removed the bumper till our daughter was over one year old. We also have a breathing monitor so if they stop breathing an alarm goes off which gives great peace of mind.

It does make you wonder why every cot bedding set has them though when they are so frowned upon.

Thanks for the advice on diapers! I am defintely gonna keep them for now :) I am wondering, since your baby was over 8 lbs, how close to the estimated weight was he? I know they can vary and be off by a lot, but I'm 31 weeks and they estimated she already weighs 4.6 lbs! At this rate, I'm gonna have a 9 and a half'er...haha...

Hey I really don't mind you venting I totally understand where u are coming from.. the friends thing is annoying gotta admit.. oh and another thing that is annoying me is how everyone wakes him up to hold him.. just leave him alone!! Well I am by myself 2moro as ben back to work so will let you know how I am then.. hopefully I will be happy. The tiredness for me def takes over, I need a good night sleep to even feel human so this is a real shock to me xx

Hey hun... thanks for comments... I don't feel like I want to harm myself or Alfie, I could never hurt him... I hope it is baby blues and nothing more serious! Do you know how long it should go on for? I just feel low at a time i should feel really happy and that scares me. The sleeping isn't going too well especially me who like to sleep loads ha ha! I feel like when I am alone I cannot cope, I'm fine when ben around but he can't be here forever! I've had the family round etc.. but all my friends want to visit and I just can't be bothered with them. I do have some close friends nearby but my mum and dad are in spain, so I rely on Ben's family really.. Have you been crying also where u don't know why ur crying? x

Hiya
well finally managed to get online to update this.
Aaron John Murray was born on the 10th of september at 06:21 and weighed 7lbs 14oz.
im so so happy in love he is perfect in every single way........ hope you are all doing well and all ur little ones are great and to those who are still waiting labour dust,

i will add some pics and get my birth story on .
