Helllooo all you Mummies out there! I'm expecting our second child, due in September... looking forward to welcoming our angel baby Virgo :D

I think this site is great, as it brings home that I am not the only one going through the preggo highs and lows / it's nice to know you are all out there and to hear your thoughts / advice and experiences.

On that note, best wishes to you all for a happy, healthy and safe pregnancy. Let the countdown begin ;)

Here is a link a friend sent me that started me questioning vaccinations.

http://909shot.com/

mommyrock - Friday, 11 July
That is funny because my cousin who is a doc says that some chiropractors are misleading people to not vaccinate their kids. Sometimes ignorance is bliss. You are right though it is a very hard decision. I know my cousin is all for vaccinations but I have to wonder why we have all of these new problems. I don't know what we are going to do.

mommyrock - Friday, 11 July
I don't know about Australia but her in the States, your kids get a shot of Tylenol before every vaccination. I wonder if that is why. Isn't it so interesting. You are right it is very hard. My husband wants all of the vaccinations. It seems with everything, the more intervention, the more issues, you know.

momof2oneonway! - Thursday, 3 July
see it is my secound (or soon to be middle child) acting this way! His older brother can do things without us,while he still needs to be watched.

two when 3.5? Gosh they can have them anytime. My son is 4! and he is horriable, spitting, hitting, kicking, telling us he hates us, ect. He seems to only be mean to my hubby and me The doctor seems to think it is the pregnancy. Take care and best wishes..

Thanks a lot for the reply. I did pick up my godson last week but I cant recall if that was before it started happening or after. I will take it a lot easier and see how it goes. At least is not as uncommon as I thought it might be.

kzbaby - Friday, 27 June
Yeah, it is tough to say. I guess we will just have to wait and see!

NicoleAndGrant - Thursday, 12 June
Hi JackaMuma, thank you for the message ! It's nice to know that I'm not alone. I spoke to him about my concerns and he is scared of a few things but then he took a step back and told me that he has been insensitive and would try harder. So, after he came home from work he cuddled with my belly for about an hour and I swear our little girl was active as crazy and then fell asleep when Daddy got home lol. I just wish for ONCE she would kick like she normally does so he can see it lol. He really wants to get the nursery done, he said that once it's completed there is only one thing missing and he sounded so sweet when he said it, he mentioned its like looking at a blank room right now and difficult to get excited without any furniture in it. :) Now to pick a colour lol.

poor you!
mind you im still not eating much, i have lost my appetite but i think combination of the after affects of that bug i had and baby being so high up!
went to drs and she gave me some tablets, not helping much though,
breathing is an ever increasing problem for me so im right there with you on that one - running after the kids doesnt help either lol.

If its any consolation, with my second daughter i ate pretty much nothing for the whole 9 months as i was SOOO SOOOO sick ALL the time. She was a healthy 8lb 1oz born, so dont worry about not eating, baby will be absolutely fine, its just you that will feel grotty .

Anyway, really hope you feel better soon and that you et your appetite back!
Take care
Theresa xxx

ps had a text from my friend thismorning, she lives in Brisbane, not heard from her in a while so that was nice. ( i am right - you are from Australia arent you???)

Thanks so much for your comment. I have since been in the pool and the sun, and it has been much better for me. Now I am just getting a wonderful tan, which is making me feel better! I always drink tons of water, I have been craving it, which is a good thing! I had no idea that Australia got very cold...lol. You will have to fill me in on that. Do you guys get snow??

hopeful2008 - Thursday, 5 June
Hi Jackie,
Do you know what, things are going from bad to worse!
i was ok yesterday and have been really poorly again today. been to the drs today and they have given me tablets to help. here's hoping!!!!
We went to rainbows, and my niece came too with her little boy, (you know the one who was nasty about hoping id have a boy!!) anyway, my aunty came so she could do the running about in the soft play for me hehe, well we had been there about an hour and my mobile rang, it was my mum in a frantic state saying that this old boy who is a friend of the family and whom my girls fondly refer to as Grandpa Joe, well he is in hospital quite poorly at the moment, anyway, they had rand mum and told her he'd had a heart attack! so i had to dash off and take her over to him, fortunately for freya i was able to leave Freya with my niece (and a neighbour who was also there) and got my hubby to collect her once he had picked jasmine up from school.

What a night mare ey. I dont think i can take much more of this LOL.

my word you really are on countdown hey, im planning to work till 37 weels but am flexible by a week if im struggling.

In our hospitals if its your first baby yoi stay in about 4 days depending on yours and the babys needs really, 5 if you have a section, but then if its your second or consecutive baby, you only have to stay 6 hours!

When i had Freya i was planned to go in but didnt make it, she arrived on the hall floor at the bottom of the stairs!!! Her labour was 2 & 3/4 hours - no pain relief and midwife JUST arrived 10 minutes before she was born.

So this time im PLANNING home birth! I had Jas in hospital and was 20 & 1/2 hours in labour. comparing the 2 births, even though freyas birth was frantic and very worrying, it was a much nicer experience, i went straight into my own bed, didnt even have to go into hospital after - it was lovely.
Didnt have to leave Jas and she got to meet her new sister straight away cos she was off school that day with a nasty bump on the head from the day beofore !!

So, if all goes well at my 37 week scan i should be on track for the home birth - wish me luch hehehe.

Anyway honey, gotta dash, getting tea ready for everyone else - im not eating AGAIN !!!

Take care
luv Theresa xxx

hiya,
glad to report that i am feeling much better today than i did yesterday, thankfully. Mind you i havent eaten anything apart from crackers yesterday and 2 thismorning!
Airing on the side of caution now LOL. I hope it does go now, am hungry but dont wanna eat & am so fed up with feeling ill too .
Never mind you have to keep smiling dont ya

Im off to rainbows thisafternoon with freya, its like a big soft play area she loves it. Because ive been so off colour over the last week ive not been able to take her anywhere so shes in for a treat today.

Thanks again for your thoughts, this site is such a good thing dont you think!

Take care now
Love

thanks for your comment. i think i need to relax a little and thats hard to do when you see all the things things that need to be done and I just want to sit down for a minute. My hubby does make a little effort...like if i ask him to do the dishes he puts 2 or 3 dirty dishes in the dishwasher full of clean dishes and restarts it. LOL. I got after him this morning because he kept asking whats wrong....that doesnt seem to help. I better just bite my tongue too.

hopeful2008 - Saturday, 31 May
Hiya,
hey nice of you to drop me a line.
Well, my little one seems to be getting better now, hubby still a bit dodgy, and im just left with stomache cramps now . I seem to have come off the best to be honest cos Freya had it for a week, and hubby is following suit. I have been in to work today though (real hectic so wish id not bothered really LOL), feel a bit better, just this bump seems awful heavy sometimes - do you get that and a real bloated feeling too. Get real short of breath as well even if im just sitting! These babies hey LOL.

Sorry to hear Zac was poorly, poor little chap. Hope hes better soon too! Isnt it horrible when the children are ill, you feel so sorry for them dont you.

Hows your pregnancy going anyway? Hope all is well. Take care and hope to chat again soon
Best wishes
Theresa xxx
