Hey all!!!! My name is Jaclyn. I am 17 weeks pregnant tomorrow-(2/27/08) This will be my 2nd child. I also have a 4 1/2 year old. I have been married for 5 years and we find out what we are having on March 12th. Anything else you would like to know just ask. :)

What was your first reaction?: I was happy and scared at the same time. Just wanted everything to go well.

How did your parents react?: I dont talk to them much.
How far along are you?: 21 weeks and 1 day :)
What was your first symptom?: I felt sick and my boobs were sore.
What is your due date?: August 6th, 2008
Do you know the sex of the baby?: YESSSSS!
If so, what is it?: A BOY!!!!! We are soooooooooo EXCITED!

If so, what are they?: Not telling yet. hehe
How much weight have you gained?: about 15 pounds
Do you have stretch marks?: I have very light small ones on my butt from my Daughter then with this one just a few small ones on my boobs. Nothing to bad though.
Have you felt the baby move?: Yes.
Have you heard the heartbeat?: Yes! Its so great.
About the birth
Will you keep the baby?: Of course!
Home or hospital birth?: Hospital
Natural or medicated birth?: I will prob. get an epidural. I feel that it doesnt make you any less strong if you take something.
Who will be in the delivery room with you?: My Husband
Will you breastfeed?: I would like to try. That and do bottle.
Do you think you'll need a c-section?: I hope not.
Will you cry when you hold the baby for the first time?: Yes.
What's the first thing you might say to him/her?: Ohhh my! HIIII- I love you!
Would you let someone videotape the birth?: Maybe.... Me deff, but the birth its self we will see.
Are you excited about the birth, or scared?: Sooooo EXCITED! Scared a little just because as a Mom you want everything to go smooth.

some medicines and foods will also make your urine orange. If it is none of that you are probably dehydrated. If you think you have been drinking enough then I would definitely check with your doctor. If it is orange for some other reason than your dr should hear about it. Hope you feel better!

I know what you mean. I felt like i was going to Die for a week. Finally my Dr gave me a Z- pack and OMG with in Hours i felt SOOO much better!! If your still feeling bad i would call ur Dr and ask for something, being prego is hard enough without being sick :)

Oh yah I had the whole 9 with the flu! The cough was the worst, I still have a bit of one but im not coughing up anything. My Dr. said that its the norm when your prego it takes forever to get over a cold and that some things just linger on forever.

thanks for the comment it really helps to no that its not just me i really wish i could get over this cold it is so horrible i cant sleep i wake up every 20 mins its awfull also having nightmares that my partner is cheating on me whch i know he would never do !! terrible well i hope you feel better soon x

Hey I had the flu and was very sick. The only thing my Dr would let me have was Tylenol and cough drops. It just really had to run its course which was horrible.

hey i just thought i'd send you this as i just read your blog i have also woke up today feeling really bad my whole body is aching so bad i can only take a paracetamol which really does not do much but i dont want to take to many because of the baby! well at least your not alone feeling poorly i am too! hope you feel better soon hun xx
