Hey all!!!! My name is Jaclyn. I am 17 weeks pregnant tomorrow-(2/27/08) This will be my 2nd child. I also have a 4 1/2 year old. I have been married for 5 years and we find out what we are having on March 12th. Anything else you would like to know just ask. :)

What was your first symptom?: I felt sick and my boobs were sore.

If so, what is it?: A BOY!!!!! We are soooooooooo EXCITED!

If so, what are they?: Not telling yet. hehe
How much weight have you gained?: about 15 pounds
Do you have stretch marks?: I have very light small ones on my butt from my Daughter then with this one just a few small ones on my boobs. Nothing to bad though.
Have you felt the baby move?: Yes.
Have you heard the heartbeat?: Yes! Its so great.
About the birth
Will you keep the baby?: Of course!
Home or hospital birth?: Hospital
Natural or medicated birth?: I will prob. get an epidural. I feel that it doesnt make you any less strong if you take something.
Who will be in the delivery room with you?: My Husband
Will you breastfeed?: I would like to try. That and do bottle.
Do you think you'll need a c-section?: I hope not.
Will you cry when you hold the baby for the first time?: Yes.
What's the first thing you might say to him/her?: Ohhh my! HIIII- I love you!
Would you let someone videotape the birth?: Maybe.... Me deff, but the birth its self we will see.
Are you excited about the birth, or scared?: Sooooo EXCITED! Scared a little just because as a Mom you want everything to go smooth.

I ahve sometimes taken 2 tlenol extra strengths at a time for my migraines. Doc told me its ok to have it if the headache is too bad.

I was having really bad headaches a month ago and my Dr told me to take 2 x-strength tylenol. I only did it a few times though when it was really bad, usually I just take 1.

Thanks! Oh and the strange thing is my Dr told me that I am having Braxton Hicks contractions. Isnt 5 months a little early for that?

MY DOCTOR TOLD ME I COULD TAKE EXTRA STRENGTH TYLENOL AND THAT WOULD BE OK...CONGRATS ON YOUR PREGNANCY!!

Jaclyn - I just read your comment and I just came down with a really bad cold this week and talked to my nurse and she said if your temp goes above 102 you better go in to the doctor! Hope that helps and feel better.

Hi there. I wanted to respond to you posting. My girlfriend who is about to have her 2nd child has had 2 false positive postings in her test results. She said it's nothing to worry about and it's very common. Jade

Hi I read your post, And iam waiting to do the u/s in about 4 days, due to my results were a little elavated on the downs test from my blood work, did you have a false positive?? I would love to hear more about it, because i still dunno whats going on until i have the u/s done, thanks so ver much, anything to help put my mind at ease.xxxx

I'm doing well.. feeling good. It's great that you have a daughter already... if you have a girl... she gets a sister (a wonderful thing to have), if you have a boy, then you have one of each... it works out either way

I know what you mean about preparing with colors. I have been trying to decide what colors I should do the nursery and it's so hard to when you don't know. It's making me a little crazy. I guess you'll start preparing your nursery as soon as you find out right? Are you hoping for a boy or a girl?

This is our last so that is why I am so hopeful for a boy. I do feel kicks but they are very light right now so unless I am really paying attention I don't feel them much. I am so excited to and I could barely sleep last night.

HAHA that is funny cuz I find out the gender tommorrow as well at 11am. I will let ya know what I find out. I know thta is how I feel bout my husband to just wish he knew what i felt. Do you want a boy this time? I do but I think its another girl. I just want the baby to be healthy though. I had postpartum with my first too but with my second I was totally fine so hopefully I won't get it either again.

Thanks for your comment. It is hard and he drives me nuts staying on the computer for so long on bodybuilding websites. I sometimes come sit by him and talk but he doesn't hear me..ugh its frustrating but I told him so he is trying I guess. If I was closer to my family it would be fine cuz I would have other ppl to go hang out with but I we don't. I think we should just smash the computer and the xbox..lol JK. How are you doing in your pregnancy? Do you know the sex of the baby yet?
