Hey all!!!! My name is Jaclyn. I am 17 weeks pregnant tomorrow-(2/27/08) This will be my 2nd child. I also have a 4 1/2 year old. I have been married for 5 years and we find out what we are having on March 12th. Anything else you would like to know just ask. :)

What was your first symptom?: I felt sick and my boobs were sore.

If so, what is it?: A BOY!!!!! We are soooooooooo EXCITED!

If so, what are they?: Not telling yet. hehe
How much weight have you gained?: about 15 pounds
Do you have stretch marks?: I have very light small ones on my butt from my Daughter then with this one just a few small ones on my boobs. Nothing to bad though.

Have you heard the heartbeat?: Yes! Its so great.
About the birth
Will you keep the baby?: Of course!

Natural or medicated birth?: I will prob. get an epidural. I feel that it doesnt make you any less strong if you take something.
Who will be in the delivery room with you?: My Husband
Will you breastfeed?: I would like to try. That and do bottle.
Do you think you'll need a c-section?: I hope not.
Will you cry when you hold the baby for the first time?: Yes.
What's the first thing you might say to him/her?: Ohhh my! HIIII- I love you!
Would you let someone videotape the birth?: Maybe.... Me deff, but the birth its self we will see.
Are you excited about the birth, or scared?: Sooooo EXCITED! Scared a little just because as a Mom you want everything to go smooth.

Jaclyn - I'm feeling the same thing. I felt my baby it seems like a lot last week, but haven't felt much the past couple days! It's making me sooo nervous. I can't stop worrying. I read that at first you might not feel the baby everyday, so I think you should be ok. Hang in there!

Hi, thanks for the comment. I am actually pretty calm tonight, just ready for it to come:) And the little suitcase. Actually, I got it at a luggage store, it is really for makeup, but I thought it would be perfect for the baby. The brand is Domo. I tried looking online at some sites to see if I could find it to give you the address, but I did not have any luck. Maybe you could check ebay or something. It is perfect, and fits everything that I need for the baby at the hospital. Good Luck with your pregnancy, and finding the bag:) If I happen to find it, I will def. send you the website:) Thanks again.

Hi- He's been really active this mornig thank God as I kinda freaked out yesterday and my poor hubby was like let's just go to the doctor. I'm glad I didn't as they probably would have thoughr I was another crazy pregnant woman!

I will be at Chilton Memorial in Pompton Plains. I chose it because it was close (10 minutes). I thought about going to the fancier Valley Hospital in Ridgewood (half hour) but they are a farther drive and I didn't want to be stressed out about the distance. I hope the construction will be done...they were vague about a completion date. I don't think they have one! The whole point of the construction was to make the maternity area a fancy one with all private rooms but if they are not done yet I am SOL! They are even putting in a SPA for facials and massages for mom's and partners. Sounds nice. I hope I can benefit!

Awesome, Love your style. I hope it works for you! My husband spend money like that too. We've gotten into a habit of setting rules and it seems to be working for us. Usually
I tell him that if he wants to buy something non-essential without consulting me then he has to go without something... usually sex or I ban him from something... like having a beer on a Friday night with the boys and make it hard for him because i will generally confiscate his bankcards and cash from the wallet! Its taking a little while, but his learning!! As for me, I am not perfect either. Sometimes I slip up. I still have the occassional shop for clothes etc, so he has hidden my favourite pair of shoes and my hair/makeup products.
That worked for me too.

I can't wait to find out, although I think it is a girl. I already have one of each so it doesn't really matter, but I want to go shopping. I am not sure about the bath thing, we are going to Newton to deliver, but I will look into it for you.

Remember that gift giving is not everyones love language. He may not see it as his top way of showing you he loves you. There are way bigger issues that can happen in a marriage, forgive and move on or it will just cause you to feel bitter and resentful.

Hi i have had the heart thing too, and it freaked me out. But for me i ended up having an anxiety attach with it as i have a panic/anxiety disorder. My friend told me it was normal and she had it as well, but i let it freak me out and made it worse. I felt weird too the next day and thought it was going to happen again that nite. Ive been ok since

i am terrified and pretty much positive i will have it with this one too. before i was every pregnant i used to have to be medicated for it, so i was a prime target for it again. i didn;t really do anything. first it was no insurance and no money, then i couldn't get to the doctor. one thing after another. around 18 months post it went away on it;s own. this time i'm getting drugs. i don;t want to do that again
