Jaded
Hello all. I am 25 years old married to the sweetest man in the Air Force. We met in England when I used to also serve as well and now we shall be having our first child, a baby girl, in August. We are hoping to become stationed in Japan sometime next year, a place we both always wished to go. I pray we will be so I can show my little one different parts of the world. I am nervous and worried as anyone would be about a pregnancy and welcome all forms of conversation, that's in good taste to say the least. ^_^

Saturday, 7 June Yeah I know that joke is awesome!!! You had to almost see it coming though ya know, lol!! I did some major walking the other day and I swear to god my belly was hard as a rock and baby boy was not moving at all, lol, thank god for that!! The one good thing is that right about now is when the belly is all belly and doesn't look fat ya know, still feel like I look fat but no one is gonna mistake me for being fat and not pregnant thank god! think the reason I feel so big is cause I'm at the same weight right now as when I had my daughter, didn't want to get this big! but hopefully baby boy will be the same size as his sister which just means my babies are always a little bigger than average so we'll see
as for being back to my pre size...that's what I'm hoping, not looking forward to the pt test, kill me now! I think they should have to wait a year instead of just 6 mths but who's gonna listen to me, I just gotta buckle down and make sure the bfing works out so then I won't have to worry about deploying, I would so kill someone if they tried to make me deploy at 6 mths!
Oh yeah and baby girl knows she's cute and can get away with anything, it's her one flaw, lol!! too cute for her own good! I do not know how that happened, must be one of those anomalies ya know, ugly parents beautiful kids.... :-) Momma327 -
Saturday, 7 June Good! I am glad that things are working out with your insurance.
If she's already facing head down then she has dropped. We are in that stage where it could happen any moment in preparation for the "big day".
I hear ya about your wallet saying no. Just do what you can (and you are with the massive amount of pillows - lol). Before my pillow I use to sleep with like 6 pillows and my body always hurt, if you ever get a chance to get it, I would highly recommend it because my back is much better - now I am dealing with swollen feet - yay.
I took my gestational diabetes test today. I have to say that it actually tasted like sprite and it wasn't bad at all. Now I just have to wait for the results.

Saturday, 7 June Awww man that really sucks about your insurance company. The biggest scams in this country are insurance and pharmaceutical companies!! What a shame. Anyway, your doctor should be happy that you are gaining 21 pounds. You are actually one of the few people that are following the "pregnancy weight gain" schedule. Me, I am way off but I don't care though. I gained 40 lbs and my doctor looked at me and said that I look fine, my measurements are fine, the baby and myself are fine, so she's not worried about it. She asked if I was underweight before I was pregnant and I actually did lose a lot of weight but not sure if I was considered "underweight". Anyway, just continue doing what you are doing. You know one of the nurses at the doctor's office told me that women with "small" bellies have big babies because your stomach is all belly. She also said that women who gain a lot of weight or have a huge belly usually have small babies because most of their weight is water, food, etc. I was actually surprised by that statement. (Look who's rambling - lol).
My belly doesn't feel heavy. It just feel her being very active and she loves to do it when I'm relaxing. Does your belly feel heavy mean that your baby finally dropped? I heard its pressure to your pelvic area...I wonder if I really know when that happens. I heard I would, but I guess we'll see when that time comes.
Girl, are you using a maternity pillow? My back and hips use to be very sore but ever since my bf bought that pillow for me, I've been able to enjoy my sleep and my back does not hurt as much. If you don't have it, I highly recommend that you get it! - Ok I am done for real now. LOL. Momma327 -
Friday, 6 June Hi! The pregnancy is going pretty good thanks for asking. I am finally hitting the "swollen feet" stage. I was fine before but now it is starting to affect me. I am putting my feet up as much as possible. Other than that I am doing pretty good. How is your pregnancy going?

Wednesday, 4 June Yes the stretch mark oil really does work! It works great! And it's organic too! :) I was about 4 months along with my daughter and was getting a new mark every day and my belly was starting to look awful. I had an apple-sized spot on either side of my bellybutton and below it a bit that was nothing but stretch marks. I started using the Earth Mama Angel Baby stretch oil and within 2 or 3 days I'd stopped getting new marks. I used it twice daily until I was about 7 months along, and not a single new mark appeared during that time! But at about 7 months pregnant I started running low on the oil and we couldn't afford to buy more just yet, so I started going really super skimpy on it. I only used it once every day and then only once every other day, and used less and less each time. Well the marks started showing up again! Not as fast, because I was still using SOME oil, but still no new stretchmark is a welcome stretch mark! When I was about 8 months along I ran out completely and for the next week I didn't have any of the oil and I was getting more than one new stretchmark each day! It was awful! When my new bottle of it arrived in the mail I put it on as soon as it was out of the box! I went back to using it twice a day and the stretchmarks again stopped completely for the last couple weeks of my pregnancy while I was uing the oil. So I do have alot of marks from when I was not using the oil and when I was barely using any, but when I was using the oil twice a day I didn't get one single new mark, and the existing stretchmarks didn't grow while I was using the oil either!
So yeah it definately works! It smells kind of lemon-y and nice too. :) jenelle -

Sunday, 1 June Hormones and pregnancy is something else. I use to be cold natured before pregnancy but not I am always hot. I really don;t have any trouble sleeping but my feet was swollen and its not a good feeling. They feel like they are about to split at any time. I tried to put my feet into a pair of cute sandals yesterday and after several unsuccessful attempts I decided to put them to the side and put on the ugly sandals. Being cute goes out the window after 7 months(lol)
