About Me
my name is Jessica. I'm married to my best friend aka the best man in the entire universe! We've been married for 2 1/2 years. It took us some time to get this baby, so that makes even more special. we went through 3 early miscarriages in a year, to find out that ALL I needed to have a baby is PROGESTERONE. I truly believe that prayer and progesterone is the only thing that has got us this far!
*****My Pregnancy Story*****
In January 2006 my husband and I decided to try for a baby. I got pregnant for the first time in just a month! I miscarried at 5 weeks exactly! My doctor said that this is common and to just try again. I didn't get pregnant until Oct 2006, when again I miscarried at 5 weeks exactly! I took this one the worst! I felt so alone. My doctor then did a few tests and they all came back that I was perfectly normal. My husband and I decided not to "try" right away. We wanted time to heal, and the holidays were coming up, so we just put ourselves around are family and friends. In Jan 2007 we went to Vegas to celebrate my 21st birthday. (Of course we weren't trying to get pregnant at this time, we were going to wait till' we got back) but we got pregnant in Jan and had a miscarriage again at 5 weeks. My ob/gyn still didn't want to refer me to an infertility specialist. So I got the referral from my primary care doctor. We had our first appointment in March 2007, and my husband and I both went through all these tests and it they all came back normal, but he did have some concern with what one test revealed. It looked as though my left tube was blocked and it COULD be from endometriosis or it could be from the dye that's used on the test. So the plan was to get me pregnant and if that wasn't successful in 3 months I was to have surgery to remove the endometriosis. So I was on all these shots and pills and I couldn't get pregnant. During this time I asked like every appointment if I should be on progesterone, and he kept telling me no, not until I got pregnant... then at one appointment I saw the nurse practitioner and asked her about the progesterone. and she gave me a prescription for it but told me NOT to fill it until I got pregnant.(I still don't understand why she even wrote it out) 3 months passed and I scheduled my surgery for sept 26th 2007 with my ob/gyn. I filled the progesterone prescription and started taking it in aug. my plan was to take it days 14-28 of my cycle unless I got pregnant and then I’d continue until week 12 of pregnancy. I got pregnant that month and haven't had any problems! So basically I trusted my gut feeling and it turned out that I was right! Oh and a little strange fact my egg came from my left side, meaning there wasn't a blockage all along and I would've had the surgery for no reason what so ever!

OH man Ive been DYING...especially at night...I wake up sweating or my body feels like Im in a sauna:(...I am sooooo glad we wont be caring in the summertime haha!
I would love to have more babies...I dont know how many, or that it will happen, but I would love to! I want to wait just a bit after this ones born though because I want her to enjoy being a baby and I dont want her to miss out on baby time! I will HAPPILY take whatever God blesses me with though, as I see THIS baby as a blessing on her own :D

hmmm no just the crappiness almost like im about to start my period...my THIGHS were a little sore today which I thought was weird...and just really...well TIRED! No matter how much I do or dont sleep, but thats about it.
I wish my mucous plug would start coming out lol...then Id be one step closer to having the baby...being pregnant is definitely something that I am ready to be over with till the time comes where I might have another!

ohhhh man I bet you are! I had my drs appt on Friday...had my group B strep test...he said he would call me on monday since they arent open on the weekends!
He is going to check me next week to see if my cervix has thinned at all...I made all the rest of my appts and the last one is on her due date haha...craziness, I was like well hopefully this one will be cancelled! YOU are even closer than me...the doctor told me that all these pains is what gets us so prepared to actually go through labor haha, otherwise we would be too scared of the pain and hyperventilate or something haha!

haha... she will be here soon enough!!! I hope Aiden isn't one of those tricky babies that has me at the hospital 20 times before it is actually time for him to come.... I think i have been having braxton hicks lately.. but i'm not for sure since i dont know what they feel like. But sometimes when i am getting out of bed or after sex, i get like a pain and tightening feeling really low on my belly... any ideas?

lol i dont like things that hurt! a little late for that now huh haha! ive been feeling weird today....like im about to start my period...and i can feel sharp pains the past week like it FEELS like its on my cervix...so I dont know what that means...but I have a drs appt on Friday so hopefully everything is all good! I've been leaking a teeny but of colostrum, but for the past two days it seems like a ton:|...I was pretty sure that was normal...I guess thats what they make those little pads for!

What do they do to check your cervix? How does it hurt? I have an appt on Friday at 35 weeks and he might or it will be next week...after this appt I go every week too!

he's hanging in there... he couldn't go to work today so i am taking him to a chiropractor in about an hour... i have a feeling that she is gonna make an early appearance... but that's part of the excitement right? not knowing when she'll get here... haha! We did the hospital tour yesterday... it seems really nice... BIG ROOM! There was like an area where the baby stays in the room with us... a bed for me.. a pullout for lance... a round table and 4 chairs, private bathroom, small kitchen area... i was like is this a hospital room or hotel suite?! haha! made me excited!!!

ya supposedly drastic changes in the weather and full moons make people go into labor... that's a good sign that you are dilating already! i think she will get here early... lance went to the doc and they did some x-rays on his chest and shoulder... they are saying that it is a pulled muscle... but he is having a hard time breathing and his left hand is numb... i think it might be a bad pinched nerve in his back... that would explain the chest pain and the numbness in his hand.. i am gonna make him a chiropractor appt so that they can check him out again. The doc did say that it has nothing to do with his heart... so that's good.

i'm doing well... lance just called me from his job... i guess he hurt himself pretty bad at his job.. so he is on his way home and then we are gonna go to urgent care. hopefully he is ok... he freaked me out because he was like "i'm too young to have a heart attack right?" i'm gonna actually meet him at the dr now because he just called me back... let me know how your appointment goes.. xxxx

well it ended up being 30 people...some came that was a surprise! But it was enough haha...I was EXHAUSTED by the end....so much fun though!!!
and yes time IS going by fast...its crazy...I need it to slow down JUST a second haha so that I can finish...now that I have the final touches I just need to get them done...if her rooms not finished though it will be fine because she can just sleep in her bassinet in our room...which I heard she will do that for probably the first 4 months of her life anyways!!!

How are you feeling though now that its getting closer and closer? Just within the past two days my baby dropped a little bit and its KILLING my pelvic bones and all the organs down there lol...its like this constant achy pain that doesn't go away no matter what I do. The doctor said its normal though and I just will have to get used to it haha...

its not going to be huge or anything....just like a group of 25 close friends and family that live here...most of MY family live in florida, they are coming out when she is born! I am excited for that I miss them! Two of my closest friends are flying out too!

I've been having painful pressure against my pubic bone for several weeks that makes it feel like I have a giant bruise down there, but it's just from my baby girl resting her head against it in preparation for birth.

Hello yes ive been experiencing groin pain since about 32 weeks. I had to go for an ultrasound to check my bub and they said that she's really low down so thats probally why my little girl has been giving me so many aches down there.Goodluck with everything,I see your due mothers day im due 12th may but i hope she come mothers day!!
