About Me
my name is Jessica. I'm married to my best friend aka the best man in the entire universe! We've been married for 2 1/2 years. It took us some time to get this baby, so that makes even more special. we went through 3 early miscarriages in a year, to find out that ALL I needed to have a baby is PROGESTERONE. I truly believe that prayer and progesterone is the only thing that has got us this far!
*****My Pregnancy Story*****
In January 2006 my husband and I decided to try for a baby. I got pregnant for the first time in just a month! I miscarried at 5 weeks exactly! My doctor said that this is common and to just try again. I didn't get pregnant until Oct 2006, when again I miscarried at 5 weeks exactly! I took this one the worst! I felt so alone. My doctor then did a few tests and they all came back that I was perfectly normal. My husband and I decided not to "try" right away. We wanted time to heal, and the holidays were coming up, so we just put ourselves around are family and friends. In Jan 2007 we went to Vegas to celebrate my 21st birthday. (Of course we weren't trying to get pregnant at this time, we were going to wait till' we got back) but we got pregnant in Jan and had a miscarriage again at 5 weeks. My ob/gyn still didn't want to refer me to an infertility specialist. So I got the referral from my primary care doctor. We had our first appointment in March 2007, and my husband and I both went through all these tests and it they all came back normal, but he did have some concern with what one test revealed. It looked as though my left tube was blocked and it COULD be from endometriosis or it could be from the dye that's used on the test. So the plan was to get me pregnant and if that wasn't successful in 3 months I was to have surgery to remove the endometriosis. So I was on all these shots and pills and I couldn't get pregnant. During this time I asked like every appointment if I should be on progesterone, and he kept telling me no, not until I got pregnant... then at one appointment I saw the nurse practitioner and asked her about the progesterone. and she gave me a prescription for it but told me NOT to fill it until I got pregnant.(I still don't understand why she even wrote it out) 3 months passed and I scheduled my surgery for sept 26th 2007 with my ob/gyn. I filled the progesterone prescription and started taking it in aug. my plan was to take it days 14-28 of my cycle unless I got pregnant and then I’d continue until week 12 of pregnancy. I got pregnant that month and haven't had any problems! So basically I trusted my gut feeling and it turned out that I was right! Oh and a little strange fact my egg came from my left side, meaning there wasn't a blockage all along and I would've had the surgery for no reason what so ever!

i think this little one is a girl but we are keeping it a surprise! i always said that if i had a girl that i would never dress her in pink well after looking at all the cute pink stuff i don't think i can help myself oh well bring on the frilly pink baby clothes(:

how did you doc's visit go? i had one on Friday and was put on partial bed rest and pelvic rest I'm taking something to help with the contractions but my midwife thinks that i will have this lil one at 34 weeks and that would mean a hospital birth so i'm hoping that baby will stay in here until 37 weeks so i can have the home birth that my hubby and i had planed on

Congratulations! Progesterone is what did it for me too (200 mg twice per day). Thank God my doctor listened to me. Happy New Year!!

ya... i'll definitely let you know! I will be sooo excited for that day! It seems like time has been goingby super fast tho... I had my last appointment with my doctor 4 weeks ago and it is time for the next.. It feels like the 4 weeks went by so fast. Before we know it there will be little babies runnin around!! haha! Crazy how 2008 is gonna change our lives! I still can't believe it!!!

oh yeah, I have the picture of of her 'girl parts' in my photo section...I've looked at TONS of girls and boys her age and younger that were determined correctly and she still seems a perfect girl to me. Of course I would be happy with whatever but I just dont want to get all set up for her and have a boy, I;m honestly not worried though! I'm pretty positive that I have my little girl in there:)

Well I have a DRS appt on the 7th to go over everything as well! So we will see! We are planning on getting the 3D/4D in January so that should eliminate any questions I have regarding that!

Thank you so much for sharing your story with me, mine sounds so similar. I just had some test run and I have not got the results yet, but the doctor said that they would probably come back normal. When she calls me I will definitely ask about taking progesterone. I am finishing up AF and will soon be trying to get pregnant again. I am taking an aspirin now, when do you recommend I begin with the progesterone? I will be ovulating in about two weeks. Again, thanks for your help; your story gives me hope. You know how crappie it is to go through miscarriage after miscarriage and test after test.

my baby has quite days to it was really hard to conceive this little one and keep it in where in belongs that i still use the trick a few times a month but like your little one my baby usually has a very busy day after the quite day how is you pregnancy going? saturday is thirty weeks for me!

Well we spent Thanksgiving with my family so this year Christmas Eve is at my aunts...there will be only about 25 people there, and the little ones will open up the presents from the family since there are SO many and Santa brings a lot too for Christmas morning! Then Christmas Day will be with my husbands family and well thats one HUGE party haha it will be fun! I only have to buy some items for food to take...no cooking for me!Then I have about a 2 week vacation time then its over to my new position! I work for US Airways and I got promoted but I don't start until mid January and they don't need me before then so I get a free vacation thats paid:D

Wait just wait! its ganna hurt way worse. Its because your stuck on your sides. If you sleep on ur back u cant breath and ur hips get locked. If you sleep on ur stomache the baby keeps kicking u the whole night go get off of him or her

I'm at work and its SO boring! Its Friday and I cant believe that its almost CHRISTMAS! haha, I feel good just sleepy...I haven't been sick today but yesterday I was SOOOOO sick...I got sick 4 times ugh that hasn't happened in awhile like that...but thankfully its not the same today!
