Hey girls, my name is Jennifer and this is my second pregnancy! My husband and I found out Feb. 28th that we are expecting. We have been trying to conceive for over a year and finally succeeded after getting medical help. I was diagnosed with Polycystic Ovarian Syndrome (PCOS) in Dec. of '08. Doctor put me on Metformin to regulate my menstrual so I can normally ovulate. It sure worked the 2 months I was on it. I also got prescribed Clomid, fertility pills, to kickstart my ovulation. The first month I ovulated but didnt conceive BUT the second month I ovulated and conceived. I thought that day was never gonna come because of how long we have been trying to get pregnant!
I have a 3 year old son from a previous relationship, which took us over a year also but I never went to the doctor for any help to conceive him. He is as healthy as he can be. I gained 50 lbs. with him and had a bad case of high blood pressure. He was only a day early. Weighed 7 lbs. 9 oz and 19 in long.
