Hello My name is Jennifer, I'm 25 years old and pregnant with my first child... its a girl!! I'm going to be a single parent with help from my friends and family. Today I am 24 weeks pregnant, so far I have only gained 6 lbs, and everything is going good. I finally got over the morning sickness yay! I'm having trouble thinking of a name for her because I want it to be uncommon.

Here are my first ultra sound scans at 11 weeks 6 days. The 3D one is barely noticeable.

These are my 19 week pictures I lost my original pictures the day after my ultra sound, my purse was stolen from my friends car!! But luckily I got a video of the ultra sound so I took these pics of the TV with my camera phone.

And here are my 22 weeks 6 days pics. The only reason why they did me this ultra sound was because I had told them bout the others that were in my stolen purse, They did me a quick scan out of the kindness of their hearts so I could have more pics!!

29 weeks!!!

Ok, I think its time I start writing about my pregnancy, since I'm getting closer and closer to my due date. Today I went for my checkup, they really don't tell me much unless I ask questions. My blood pressure was a bit high, but they said I was still ok. I finally got my results for my 3hr glucose test!! I passed!! Yay! Well thats what I figured cause its been like 3 weeks since I took it and never got a phone call. The heart beat was good. I forgot to ask how much I gained since the last time!! I'm going to start going every 2 weeks now, so my next appointment is Aug 6th. I get to meet the M.D this time, cause up until this point I've only been seen by the midwife. I was asked if I had started any pregnancy classes, I said no. The midwife was like "you know you need to take one, the baby doesn't just fly out your belly button right?" Well Duh!! I think everyone knows that! I really don't think I need the classes. Everyone I know has never taken one and did just fine. I think someone told me once that they took it with a first pregnancy, and when it came down to giving birth, she didn't follow anything that was taught. Well anyways enough about that, my brothers girlfriend is pregnant also, and shes gonna be 37 weeks on friday. They are having a boy! I cant wait, its getting even closer for her, she started losing her mucus plug already! I'm hoping to get a little baby experience from my nephew since I know nothing about babies!! I've never even changed a diaper!!

Well where should I start, first of all... My brothers gf had her baby July 25th yay!! Lil boy named Phoenix , hes so adorable!!! And now I'm getting anxious to see my baby!! I had a doctors appointment yesterday, was very quick!! Everything looks normal, I gained a quarter of a pound since last appointment (2 weeks ago). I think I'm doing pretty good so far, I have not had one leg cramp!! No heart burn!! Yay!! I'm still working :( and I plan on taking my leave the 2nd week of Sept. My baby shower is set for Sept 2nd, I didn't realize till after I ordered the invitations that it was labor day weekend!!! So hopefully people show up, cause the invitations are done! I'm pretty much paying for my own shower :( how sad huh. I bought the invitations, today I went crazy at party city. I got pink plates, cups, silverware, balloons, ribbon, some cute table cloths, napkins, blah blah blah all that fun stuff, and I also went to the rental place and reserved 2 tables and 20 chairs. I have a feeling that 5- 10 people will show lol.
I always think negative. So anyway i spent about $150 on my baby shower so far. Luckily, I work in a casino, and I get free cash to play every week. Well the other day I played my $10 free cash and won $130.00 yay!!! So I saved it, of course, and it went towards my baby shower!! Yay thank you casino for paying for some of my shower lol.
Oh before I forget, I finally decided on my baby's name.... Zaylie Benae. And thats final! :)

Well everything is still going good so far. I had an appointment last week and I'm scheduled for another Ultra Sound on Sept. 6th as well as my step test. I cant wait for my next scan, I'm so scared what if it ends up being a boy. Thats my biggest fear cause everything I have is pink!! I've been getting the braxton hicks contractions at least once a day. I wasn't sure thats what it was, it feels like pre-menstrual cramps. I asked my brothers girlfriend and she said thats what the feel like. Well anyways I had a big surprise yesterday, they threw me a surprise baby shower at my work. It was nice to know people care at work, yes I even shed tears. I got alot of clothes a few blankets and 3 diaper bags!! And I still have one more baby shower to go!
I'm having one next weekend on the 2nd here at home. I've already been given a ton of used baby clothes that look new, in all different sizes. I don't think I'll have to buy this baby clothes till shes like 2!! lol Plus theres 3 other people that want to give me more used clothes!! Well I'm taking my maternity leave and my last day of work will be on thursday the 30th!! Yay I can't wait. I have enough sick and vacation to receive 10 weeks of pay, plus I'm not planning on going back to work. I have been working for 6 1/2 years straight with only little 1 or 2 week vacations here and there, so this will be the longest work break I've had in years! I'm looking forward to it! But I'm afraid I'll get bored fast cause I'm so used to working.

Hey Jen, I am so happy for you!!! Thank goodness she is ok and I am more than sure it will close nothing to wirry about girl. That had to be so scary for you! I am glad she is ok. She is Beauitufl girl you did a good job. Congrats girl!!!! As for Cayden he is great he eats so much so he is getting chunky lol... Well get back to me when you can I know you are going to be very busy now ;)....

HEy girl... YAY I am so excited for you! I know how it goes trying to get everything you need done before you make that trip to the hospital. Oh girl that sucks so bad about your test! I have no idea on anything to do with that I have never had it... and oh so scary about the fluid. I am glad to hear that they are going to keep an eye on it like that. you will have to keep me posted if you end up having to get induced. I am so excited for you not much longer hang in there girl. I know how it was too be soooooo close but then again so far away or so it seemed. YAY YAY YAY not much longer lol... I am sorry you are not feeling good that is a bummer that you got a cold. I am sure you will be over it by the time she comes. I was very sick all the time sick with Cayden and was worried I was going to still be whenI had him but thankfully not and I am sure that it will be the same for you. So anything from your 'Donor'??? Nothing on myside! and hopefully it will stay that way =)

Well I am back to work today =( but Cayden is with me =). I am feeling good but was not ready to come back at all. I am breastfeeding but it does not come that well so I did give him the bottle from time to time so he can get full. Keep me posted on how you are doing I am going to try and post a few more pics of Cayden today...

Oh my gosh I am getting so excited as well as scared, and nervous just cant believe that it is here already. Shoot I wish they would have given me another u/s lol I missed out on all that with this pregnancy. Oh well I guess I will get to see what my little one looks like in 2 days. You are almost there as well I bet you are ready.

Well I am was hoping for it to be this week since I am having so much pain in my leg but she wants to wait till the 23rd. She schedule me in on that day 2 months ago and said that we would stick with that, that way we where only taking the baby one week before my due date. So 7 more days and I will be done and I am so looking forward to it. Get rid of the pain that I have in my leg. Did get some sleep last night for once so that was a plus. How are you feeling?
