Hi! I figured I should add a blurb about myself and my family. My name is Jennifer. I was a member of this site while pregnant with my son from 2007-2008 and now have been an active member again since I found out I was pregnant with my daughter late 2008. I live in Milwaukee, WI and would love to befriend anyone from the area or surrounding communities. I think it would be fun to start a "i-am-pregnant.com" playgroup or something. I was married to my wonderful husband, David, in June 2006 when I was 18 and he was 19. I had my son, Aidan, in January 2008 and my daughter, Chloe, in June 2009. They are 17 months apart and are best friends and partners in crime. My son is in speech therapy because of speech delays (at 2.5 he says about 40 words) so if anyone has any questions about speech therepy, don't hesitate to ask. I am a SAHM, but I will be attending school part time starting fall to finish up the remaining 18 credits on my associate degree in accounting. My husband is currently in school full-time earning a criminal justice degree, and plans to become a police officer by next year! We are both unemployed at the moment and it definately makes life very interesting day to day.

A little about my parenting: I formula fed my son and am still breastfeeding my daughter, my son slept in his own bed from birth while my daughter co-slept with me until about 10 months old before sleeping in her crib, I do use disposable diapers but only because I can't afford the start up costs of cloth, I did wear my kids (in slings/carriers) until they got too heavy and started hurting my back, I don't let my kids CIO, my kids didn't have any solids until after 6 months and I didn't do baby food mushes, I vaccinate my children but I don't care if you do or dont vaccinate your own children (its your choice!), I will swat my childrens behind if they don't listen to a "no" and then count "1,2...3", and my kids do watch educational shows on PBS.
