Hi everybody! My name is Jennifer but I go by Jenn. Anything but Jenny...lol : ) I am originally from New Orleans La. And, yes I was there for hurricane Katrina. She is the reason I am where I am today. Good things did come of it though! I am now married, stepmom and pregnant : ) I am around 28 weeks prego today. I have a few different due dates. I'm going by the one in the middle..August 15th! This is my first baby : ) The baby was shy at the first ultrasound but the dr thought she saw a boy part (60 % boy). My next ultrasound is next week!! : ) I was hoping for a boy...especially b/c I have so many boy things already.
I married my high school sweetheart on Jan. 30th. We took a cruise w/ 28 family members from New Olreans to Cozumel Mexico. We were married at Playa Mia on the beach. It was soooo beautiful and lotsa fun. I still had a blast even though I couldn't drink. My husband has a 6 year old daughter...Aubrey-Anna. She had a big part in the wedding. She is so excited about being a big sis! I tried to get her in to take the sibling class but she says that she already knows everything (just like her dad)...lol.

I'm happy to announce that i'm pregnant again! Gabe is going to be a big brother!! The babies will be 15 months apart...so i'm gonna be one busy momma!!
May 24, 2008 :I'm finally over the ms! Thank god! I lost a few pounds but i'm back to my regular weight. I gained 45 pounds w/ my son. I ate anything and everything. This time around i'm going to watch what I eat. Plus chasing a 9 month old will keep me busy busy. He is into EVERYTHING right now. I still can't believe he's going to be a big brother. He was actually a twin and we lost the twin in the beginning of the pregnancy. I'm just happy to have one perfect baby and another on the way! I can't wait to find out the sex on June 2nd! Hopefully baby is not shy. I have a feeling its a boy but my step daughter said its def. a girl. Either way i'll be happy! : )
Its been a few months since i've been on this site. I lost the baby at 17 weeks back on May 27th. It was very devistating and still is. I know God has his reasons and one day i will find out why he wanted my angel up in heaven w/ him. THe baby has another brother/sister angel up there and a cousin. At least i know baby is in the best place!

Yeah they have been more annoying then anything all night. I was able to get a few hours of sleep but I am back up with them again. Its 6:40 in the morning here in germany and the sun is up so it makes it even harder to get to sleep. Maybe things will pick back up today and be the real thing! :) We will see! Good luck to you though!!! I know its frustrating!!

Jenn- Thanks for the compliments! The recovery is going slowly... but im getting there.. Atleast now I can walk! The best part of not being pregnant is that I can pee more then a teaspoon full now at a time! LOL! I have my fingers crossed for you.. and by the way your pictures are beautiful! you are a very beautiful mom!

Thank you for dropping by! Recovery was really easy for me, I was so unbelievably scared. However, I'm starting to feel that effects of surgery and I've gained a six inch plus of hanging skins from my stomach. Don't think this is normal for a first child, so once we are done with having little ones, I'm have a tummy tuck. It's gross...but on the bright side I have a little angel! How are you?

girl NO he turned on his own...lol He turned thursday night to the breech postion and last night he turned back..OUCH.. it hurt thursday but not last night. I want to have a csection but I wanted to go into labor on my own but since he went breech I figured just make the appt and get it over with...lol

JennBA~ at my appt for pre opt at the dr. office it was like a normal visit. Pee in the cup, take your BP, weight etc.. Then my dr just went over the surgry info like what wilol be done... BUT FOR ME get this... Ok so the lil guy isnt breech anymore, and I was SUPPOSED to have go in on the 9th or 10th thats NOT going to happen, b/c the 9th was BOOKED & the dr. that would be able to do the 10th wont be in until Thursday, so it would be to late to ask her.. I am 1 cm dilated I had him strip my membranes just in SOME hope of delivering and going in this week.. So IF no labor then I have the csection on the 14th @ 1230pm .. So the day before the csection on the 13th I have to go back to the hospital and REREGISTER, I registered already but that was for a regular just show up birth, the day before you go in and get lab done, weight yadda yadda yadda .... and they gave me paper work to take.Csection waviers etc. that way IF I go into labor BEFORE the 14th I wont have to do it then.. So I have to wait till the 14th

Pre op is just signing a consent form letting you know risk factors involved with the surgery. No eating after midnight, what time to show up to the hosptial.

Hi-I am not sure how close your placenta can be but you should ask your MD. I think it only matters if it is covering the cervix. I am sure by now they would have told you if you needed a C section. Good Luck and congrads.

Haha I hear it is a sign! Man, I wish I wanted to clean. I went through that a few weeks ago... where I felt like I had to do everything RIGHT AWAY but now I'm just tired all the time... Jenna thank you for the comment. Im just so nervous cause i had my daughter natural and i really hope my placenta moves up cause im not looking forward to a C-section regular birth was fine for me but the thought of someone cutting you open really creaps me out. Good luck with your pregnancy!!

Hi Jenn! A teeny section of my placenta (15mm) is covering my cervix. Sounds like your placenta's low lying but not previa. Perhaps the doc will do another scan in a week? I would call your midwife to ask her what it means. If it's not covering your cervix you probably have a chance of normal delivery, but perhaps the consultant didn't want to say too much in case you go down the emergency c-section route. Try not to worry. I've come to terms with the fact that this is how I'll have my baby and although it's not ideal, you still get your little one at the end of it! Hurrah! Good luck and take care xx
