My name is Jenn. I'm a first-time Mommy, and I live with my husband Jason and my pug, Winnie. I've had female reproductive issues since I was 16, which led to 4 laparoscopies within 1 year, along with the removal of my right ovary and fallopian tube when I was 22. For anyone with endometriosis, I feel for you! I'd been put through menopause at 21, then on the pill continuously for 4 years. Last September, I had a 5th laparoscopy, then decided to go off the pill so that I could join an endo study. After a few months, we decided that since I've had so many reproductive issues we should just stay off the pill and the study, because we assumed it would take a while to get pregnant. When it didn't happen for a few months, I started to get anxious...part of me hoped that I'd be among that small percentage of women that get pregnant right away. Fast forward to January '08- had TERRIBLE food poisoning and went to the dr., who did a ua and bloodwork, and it came back negative. Next thing you know, a week later I'm doing a pregnancy test the day I was supposed to get my period, and it's positive! My husband is a MedTech at the hospital, and works the evening shift, so I called him and said " me!=")

hey, just updating, i go in at 5:30 in the morning and doc said Lily should be here by 7:30am. can't wait, i don't feel good and think it is all centered around the fact that i am still pregnant. i think i actually miss having a period now and i never thought i would say that. also cannot wait to be little again, this has been worth it but i am definately over it now. cannot wait to hear about Eamon. I bet you are in absolute love. talk with ya soon. take care

i am so happy for you! being a mom is the best thing that ever happened to me besides being a christian and marrying my husband. no one can ever explain what the love is gonna feel like or how we will feel the moment we hear that awesome cry. i still remember how i felt the second i heard lauren. i hate that you had to have a c-sec, but in my opinion, they aren't as aweful as some people say, i recovered relatively pain free and because you seem to stay in shape and exercise, you will probably be quicker on the recovery too. can't wait to see pics of Eamon. i am sure he is so precious. take care of you and baby and i will let ya know how it goes. i am taking my laptop so i can do payroll for my employees on friday so i will update then.

Awwww babe! poor little conehead :) I'm sure he IS beautiful. God I'm so happy for you! and totally jealous of course! I started to cry a little when I read that you cried so hard. Oh god I just found out today that Dan's paternity leave starts tomorrow! and lasts two weeks! Crap now I really have a lot of pressure!

yeah, i can't stand uninvited company. i don't really like company at all. when i get home that is my personal space and where i make all go away. i keep hearing just another day or two from my parents every day or two. surely they will be gone before baby otherwise i will just go to a hotel. my mom makes me panic and stress about things i wouldn't normally panic and stress about. i can't handle her living here with a new baby. yeah, i think i would have been annoyed about the cousin inviting himself over too, as far as the baby not moving, yeah that would have been scary but i have noticed that Lily will move like crazy for 2 days and then sleep all day the next. did i tell you that they did an ultrasound 2 tuesdays ago and said she already weighs 7lb13 oz (give or take 8 oz) so i cannot imagine what Miss Lily will weigh by thursday. Lauren weighed 9lb4oz. As far as the red hair, Lily better not have it or my hubby will be asking lots of questions..

you should probably warn your husband that once the baby is born, you will probably not feel up to company right away. I considered Richard to be the one who should be "protecting us" from intruders, everyone wants to drop by and see the baby and all I wanted to do was relax, figure out how to be a mom and try and recover and i felt so protective of Lauren and Richard didn't want to be rude so he just let people drop by instead of saying we weren't ready for visitors yet or something! so give your husband a heads up before hand so he will make sure and know what you need from him when little man gets here. (maybe you won't feel like i did about it) take care, it will be here before we know it. YAY!

I am feeling grumpy. pretty much about everything. we bought my parents house and moved in at the beginning of august and they still haven't moved. my mom is making me crazy, and so is not being able to unpack. the whole nesting urge is impossible to fulfill when you are living with 2 extra people (one of them still wanting to tell you what to do even though your 31 years old)and living out of boxes. my husband is having to sleep with our daughter because her bed makes my hips hurt really bad and i am back to sleeping in the twin bed in my old bedroom (which is now the baby's nursery.) i haven't even been able to sleep in the same bed as my husband in over 2 months!! they are still in the master bedroom. my blood pressure last week shot up to 130/something when i was at the doc, i was so upset when they asked why it was so high and i burst into tears. the midwife tried to give me anti-anxiety pills. i know things will be fine, i had just hoped to be organized, unpacked, and have a little time to relax before Lily got here. I take my last massage therapy appointments on Tuesday,and Wednesday I go for pre-op at the doc and hospital, then we are having a "BIG SISTER" party for Lauren (my 5 year old little girl) so I am excited about that, but this week will be very busy. I can't wait to hold this little lady. The cute clothes and nursery stuff is so much fun. I have enjoyed washing and folding all of those clothes i kept from my first one. My husband wants to try again for a little boy, but he has mentioned us possibly adopting instead of being pregnant again. (sigh of relief) we'll see. Hope you get well soon, i know you don't want labor and a cold. that would really stink. We are almost done! It will happen before we know it. Let me know when he get here!

Name is most likely going to be Olivia Rose. Rose is my middle name. We are trying to decide what speeling to go with. Hubby likes Olivyah, I like Oliviah or just plain Olivia. he like the unique spelling best but I tell him no one would ever spell her name right! Who knows? Anyday now sweety. When the good Lord thinks it's time you will have your little guy! take care! Are you dilated? I think I was dilated at 2cm for two weeks with my 1st!

oh you poor girl! You probably don't want to be sick when you have your little guy! Maybe mother nature is waiting for you to feel better! I know you are thinking I will be feeling once I get this kid out of me huh? I was SO ready when I had my 2nd one. I tried just about everything under the sun! I guess the best advice is walk, walk, and walk! Also has your doc stripped your membranes? I do not know exactly what that means but I heard it helps! Good luck sweety! please let me know how it goes once you are feeling up to it!

I KNOW THE POINTS I WAS MENTIONING, BUT AS FAR AS GETTING A BABY OUT, (I DIDN'T TRY THE POINTS WITH MY FIRST ONE) BUT WE WALKED CONSTANTLY, CLEANED OBSESSIVELY, ATE SPICY FOOD, SEX, THE WHOLE DEAL, EVERYTHING EVERYONE SAID TO DO AND STILL NO BABY. TRY WORKING YOUR ANKLE POINTS, INNER ANKLE 2-3 FINGER WIDTHS ABOVE YOUR INSIDE ANKLE (YOU WILL KNOW YOU ARE THERE BECAUSE IT WILL BE EXTRA TENDER). WORK IT LIKE YOU WOULD JUST PRESS A POINT. REMEMBER IT IS AN ACCUPUNCTURE POINTS THAT WOULD NORMALLY HAVE A NEEDLE STUCK IN IT, SO HAVE YOUR HUBBY BE VERY POINT SPECIFIC AND AS MUCH PRESSURE AS YOU CAN STAND. FOR A GOOD PERIOD OF TIME SEVERAL TIMES A DAY. I HAVE ALSO BEEN TOLD THAT GRABBING OUR LEGS JUST ABOVE OUR KNEES ON EACH SIDE (YOU KNOW THAT GRAB THAT PEOPLE WOULD DO WHEN WE WERE KIDS TO ANNOY US TO MAKE US JUMP) WELL SUPPOSEDLY IT IS SUPPOSED TO BE DONE ON BOTH LEGS AT THE SAME TIME (ELEMENT OF SUPRISE IN THERE) AND THOSE POINTS CAN SUPPOSEDLY INDUCE SPONTANEOUS LABOR, ALSO THAT POINT IN THE AREA IN THE WEBBING IN BETWEEN THUMB AND POINTER FINGER THAT SUPPOSEDLY GETS RID OF HEADACHES IS ALSO A TRIGGER POINT FOR LABOR. MAYBE SOME OF THOSE WILL HELP, GOOD LUCK! KEEP ME POSTED ON WHEN BABY GETS HERE. WE ARE SET FOR Oct. 9th. THIS THURSDAY! YAY!

Hey babe I have been thinking about you/ wondering where you are and how you are! I'm sorry about your sinus infection- that sucks! The acupuncture is a long and starting to get kind of painful process... I have gone EVERY day this week and am going again tomorrow morning. It isn't just to help get things going though it supposedly will make my labor much more tolerable and shorter. I F-ing hope so this shit is costing me close to $800 for fuck's sake. If it actually works then I suppose its worth it.. I don't know. I'm kind of depressed right now I just woke up from a 2 hr unplanned nap and it's all quiet in my house and dark out and Dan is working really late tonight :( I'm sad. I hate being alone lately. It sucks. I think I am gonna go for a walk... then maybe like watch a movie or something. I don't think my baby is ever coming either. :( Dan and my dad both thought (since a long time ago) that it was going to be today! haha doesn't look like it! unfortunately. I was thinking maybe Sunday... we'll see. I hope I'm right :) Oct 5th is a nice birthday. But I like the 8th 9th and 10th too.. honestly at this point I'm just trying so hard not to focus on omg when am I gonna have him?? and just relax and know it isn't going to be THAT much longer no matter what. Easier said than done though :(
I miss you! And you will be the first person I type to lol when I have the baby or know I'm about to so don't worry!

I am feeling pretty good most of the time. I tend to get pretty sore on some of the busier days. Not from transfering or anything just from being on my feet and walking up and down halls trying to track my pts down! You know how it is. other than that and realizing that i am not going to get to sleep through the night for a very long time again, I am fine. I must get up 3x's to pee! That is just like getting up 3x's to nurse once the baby is here. It's funny how mother nature prepares you! I remember feeling the way you do when I was preggos with my last one. By the time I had him I was so uncomfortable and SO ready to have him! Even my mom could tell. The little buger only came 4 days early though! There is nothing you can do but wait. I know it is hard. Your lil man will arrive when he is ready. On that note I sure hope our little princess comes a little early so we can be settled in by Christmas! Hang in there sweety! When you get close you will have more and more Braxton Hicks. Your belly will get as hard as a basketball! Just try and walk alot your last few weeks or so. Oh yeah,,, how does she know it will take him another 4 weeks? Unless she is a psychic I guess. I went to a psychic party, just for fun of course. there is this woman who has been around for years and many people have heard of her and have had readings by her. My mom has even seen her twice. Anyway she said I was having a GIRL. Of course she did not know that before hand. She said she was going to be on 12/12. So we will see! My current due date is 12/22.
