had my final u/s today..my sweet girl weighs in at 1 lb 9 oz..big by this sites standards yet right on par according to my preg. books. we'll just have to wait and see. i am feeling relatively well, still a bit of a worry wart though. i am so in love with her that its almost frightening. i have gone into early labor with all my other babies, so i am keeping my fingers crossed that i will make it to 30 wks and then i can just relax. happy preggo days to all.

The day you deliver, outside will be rainy. Your baby will arrive in the morning. After a labor lasting approximately 10 hours, your child, a girl, will be born. Your baby will weigh about 7 pounds, 11 ounces, and will be 20 inches long. This child will have green eyes and be completely bald. But there is more. Although you may feel tired, your pregnancy will be over before you are truly ready to let go of having this precious baby you have all to yourself.

we moved and it took forever for our internet to work! we are doing good, my baby girl is growing really well and her tumor is not! the doctors are pretty optimistic that her surgery should go fine although they are concerned about nerve damage to her bladder and possibly her anal muscles from removing the tumor but said that the risk for complications is not that high. i just hope that they are right about it being benign so she won't have to go through chemo, but they said it is very rare for these type of tumors to be malignant at birth. i have been way too excited to worry too much though! she kicks soo hard and moves around all the time, it is kind of like she is trying to tell me everything will be ok. i am really enjoying this stage of pregnancy because i know she will be here so soon and that we have made it this far together! how about you?

Lol.... Yes a dummy is a pacifier! You see im from south africa and the way we pronounce thing arent the same as you people over there. Guess i will have to learn how to pronounce things like you guys. Anyway how is your little one doin? Is it your first and do you know what your having?

I lost most of my weight the first week!!!! Now I just have these 7 pounds that don't want to leave...guess they are here to stay, but I wish that my breasts could use this extra weight to make milk! LOL

I have not tasted my milk either...so I would not know if it has changed. Hmmmmmm

I do like red wine...much better than beer.

My problem with this pumping thing is that for 2 whole weeks after I had my lil girl I was flowing and pretty established with my supply. Since I was already established...i would think it would be here to stay...but this is not my case. My lil girl is now up to 3 oz every 4 hours and I will run out of that stash that I saved during those two weeks. :o( I'm getting worried....which doesn't help. Also...baby is back on nasal cannula as you might have read....but on a good note...she reached 3 lbs today!!!! Yay. I just pray that even though I may only get an oz when I pump...I pray that it will start flowing again when she comes home. Oh, and I STILL test positive for a HPT!!!! It's almost 5 wks after!!!! Nerve racking!!!! Ok...me need sleepy....so late as I stayed at the hospital a lil longer this time......

Hey there! Just went to Dr. today and all is well except I have a UTI (bummer!) So now I am on antibiotics which I prefer not to take but they assure me its ok. I definelty dont want the infection to get worse. Only one more week of work until I can rest my feet. I am a hairstylist so I am on my feet a lot--not getting easier LOL! Dont think I could reach my clients much longer anyway. Had a really nice baby shower yesterday. So nice to get together with friends. Thank you for checking on me! How are things with you?

Hi Jenn. I understand about ketosis...but I have some fat to burn...as I still have about 7 pounds left over from being pregnant...lol. Why can't my body use that fat to make milk??? Hehehe. It's funny that you mentioned whether or not my appetite has decreased, cuz it has...and I don't know why. I usually eat so much (pregnant or not)...but now...I just don't feel like eating all of the foods I use to enjoy. It's very strange. I love food, and now...well...I just want one meal a day. I did try the beer thing cuz my nurses told me about it when I informed them that I was drying up...and it worked...kind of. I just wish my boobs would flow the way they did a few days after she was born. :o( Oh, and yes...the preg test still comes out positive...even yesterday at work!!! I did a Quant HCG and it was still only a 5...so who knows what's going on. Sure is a long time after birth that I still test positive. Some sites on here say that you can test positive for up to 6 weeks after pregnancy...others say that HCG is outa your system soon after birth. Only time will tell. I do work in a hospital lab...so I can always test myself. :o) Hope you are feeling great!

I have been pumping but I'm afraid I'm going to dry up soon. i barely get an oz now each time I pump. The first two weeks after I had her, i got about 4 oz. :o( I'm just trying to keep it going for when she is ready to nurse, or come home...which is anticipated end of june. Hopefully it will pick up once I actually have a baby around me. Thanks for asking....and if you have any advice...I'll take it!

Alrighty...big day of errands and work tomorrow...it's just so hard for me to wind down after the visit at the hospital. I only get to go once a day now being that I'm back at work. I must get some zzzzzzzz. Good night for now. :o)

Yeah everything is fine apart from me lol.... im so so moody at the moment and irritable im sure im quite capable of killing someone lol... My hairdresser dosent turn up 2 colour my hair tonight so i sit here and cry how bloody sad is that and yesterday i yell at my son for not being able to find his clean school shirt ohh these poor men in my life must hate me at the moment lol.....
