July 19,

Had my sweet baby girl. Miss Cayman Amelia on the 4th of July weighing 7lbs 4 oz & 20"!! She is such a great baby. She is a great nurser and sleeper. What more could a mother ask for? She has light brown hair that is falling out and being replaces with blond. Her eyes are blue but will undoubtedly change to brown. She is such a joy in my life.

April 4

had my final u/s today..my sweet girl weighs in at 1 lb 9 oz..big by this sites standards yet right on par according to my preg. books. we'll just have to wait and see. i am feeling relatively well, still a bit of a worry wart though. i am so in love with her that its almost frightening. i have gone into early labor with all my other babies, so i am keeping my fingers crossed that i will make it to 30 wks and then i can just relax. happy preggo days to all.

The day you deliver, outside will be rainy. Your baby will arrive in the morning. After a labor lasting approximately 10 hours, your child, a girl, will be born. Your baby will weigh about 7 pounds, 11 ounces, and will be 20 inches long. This child will have green eyes and be completely bald. But there is more. Although you may feel tired, your pregnancy will be over before you are truly ready to let go of having this precious baby you have all to yourself.

Thank you! No my husband will be here, though at times he will be away from home. There are so many Army wives doing this already, it was just a shock to see him anxious to have another baby. Take care!

Tell me about it. Am growing like everyday and my husband sees it too. Just the other day he noticed my tummy jump when the baby moved and he was sooo amazed. that finally helped him connect with the baby.

(i have begun dreading the specialist) just a few more weeks and we can all relax a little!

Hi Jenn, congrats on your little girl! When I had my first (and only...up to now) ultrasound my baby was a little heavier than the site's guidelines, but I'm not worrying about it too much. My pregnancy book says that by week 27 our babies should be about 2 lbs...so your baby weight sounds about right to me. I'm going for my next ultrasound at 30 weeks to see if my placenta has raised up a bit more. Last time it was borderline previa. I don't worry about it too much, because from what I've read it doesn't affect the baby...just the way she'll end up being born. I have hardly anything yet, I guess I'll wait until after the baby shower and then go to the store afterwards and get the rest of the things on my list. I see that everyone else has their rooms painted etc...I'm not even close! All I did so far was cut off the tags of a few articles of clothing I've purchased, put them in order of size and put them back in a box!!

Hey there,
Your baby girl's weight is normal. My dr. told me not to go by websites or books bc they tend to underweigh the baby. Shes probably perfect! :)

mkatel - Friday, 4 April
well, things are going as well as they can be. i went to the specialist to get the results of the MRI this morning and they found that part of the babies tumor is inside but there is hardly any blood flow to it which is good. the rest of the baby is perfect though. they said that as long as we get to 34 weeks with no problems then we are going to have a c-section sometime between then and 38 weeks depending on how she is doing. so i am feeling like everything is going to be fine. how about you?

sarahj82 - Friday, 4 April
Thank you for the comments!

Hi there, just reading some vip pages and came across yours. Where did you get that prediction on the day you deliver and what it will be like? I'm curious and would like to know the same for me. I'm sure it may all be for fun...but that's all good for me too. :o)

MooMommy - Monday, 31 Mar
ok how about double that weight chicky?? You should feel so proud about only gaining 12lbs although I know it seems like a huge amount - it's all baby and will be gone like that (snaps)

My move yesterday went off without a hitch...everyone was sooo great!! I got so many things unpacked already...it already feels like home......i love it here so much! i'll get pictures up as soon as everythings more done to my liking....i should also have the nursery up and running by the end of the month too.....How was your weekend??

She doesn't really have any issues yet. We haven't told her about that part of her life b/c she's only 9. As she gets older though, we'll be honest about it. She knows she's adopted by mommy and daddy, and that she's special because of that. My parents started going through a divorce about 5 years ago, so she came to live with us, and just stayed. Now we have guardianship of her. We're totally open about everything though. So in time she'll know what happened. Hopefully by then, there will be enough advances in medical technology to remove some of the scar tissue. We found out about it b/c she was so sensitive, we couldn't wipe her with a diaper wipe. And she kept getting yeast infections. So her ped. asked if she could run a test, and a scope up there. (We knew he had sexually abused his other kids.) That's when she found all the scar tissue. The yeast infections were a type of yeast prominant with sexual abuse victims. I've never wished death on anyone until that day.

I've actually felt great the entire pregnancy. I've not had any problems really (other than my skin). So far I've loved being pregnant. I smile every day when I feel her in there kicking around. I'm completely overjoyed by all of it.

1sttimemommysumerlea - Thursday, 27 Mar
thanks :)
I do think I have a head cold though..hopefully it wont last long

cdoyle23 - Thursday, 27 Mar
Actually no, I'm having a girl! And she's killing my skin. lol That's really the only issue I've had so far. No morning sickness or anything. Just breakout central!

sarahj82 - Thursday, 27 Mar
