Tuesday, 12 Feb wow 16wks, how lucky is that! My doctor didn't schedule my ultrasound until almost 19wks to find out the sex of my baby. It's just two more days though.
But yes as soon as I find out I'll let you know. Take care. mommy1986 -
Monday, 11 Feb Thanks for the comment, It was really helpful...
Yes, for a long time I had been worried about not feeling my baby move but this week was different for sure.
I can now feel my little one move but right now the feeling is so light and soft that it's very easy to miss.
Perhaps since you're just a week behind me maybe you'll feel your baby by 18 wks as well.
I still do not know the sex of my baby yet though. However it's only three days until I do!
What week did you find out that you were having a girl?
Anyway, good-luck and keep me posted. mommy1986 -

Tuesday, 29 Jan About showing... My belly is or should I say was (lol) flat when I first got pregnant. All my extra fluffiness is in my butt and thighs... anyway, my belly didn't really start to show either until around my 20-21st week (I'm 29 weeks now and still not HUGE) where people could say, oh you're belly is starting to show! I was paraniod about it too, but everyone is different. Don't worry. Once the belly starts to show, you'll be ready for the pregnancy to be over cause it gets in the way of everything! LOL. Take care. nancy26 -
Monday, 28 Jan Hey sweetie, saw your comment in plus size, and just wanted to welcome you to the B-bumpers ;)
Don't you worry - I didn't show at all at 15 weeks... just my pants were a lot tighter, and I looked quite a bit fatter... I didn't get the 'omg you're pregnant, aren't you?' belly until about 17 weeks, and even if you check the picture on my page, a lot of it still just looks like fat... a lot of people still don't think I'm PG LOL...
Anyway congratulations to you, the belly will come, don't worry! shashi -
Monday, 28 Jan Hi Jennifer: I hate to tell you this but I am quite over weight and I am 30 weeks pregnant and people say I am doing so good which is their way of saying you have not gained much. People can not even tell I am pregnant and I am 30 weeks. So don't be surprised. I actually wear shirts that say baby on board because I feel so robbed of that large belly. Also, I did the hospital tour last week and all the smaller mommies were big and round and I almost felt like they thought I was faking it. Some people just don't show. I worried my baby was not developing but he is right on target. Good luck. hazeleyes -
Sunday, 27 Jan Hello!! i am now 32 weeks pregnanat and was overweight before i got pregnant i didnt actually start showing until about 25 weeks, right now if you were to look at me you can tell im expecting but i dont look 32 weeks i think i look like a normal 5 months KariLynn -
Saturday, 26 Jan Hi jennifer, Congratulations on your pregnancy :) I read your post and just wanted to let you know that I am 20 weeks and starting to show. We just have more room for the baby to hide:) I really don't think other people can tell yet though, but me and my boyfriend can. Just be patient and give it some more time. I know how anxious we can get wanting to look pregnant, but it will come soon. I actually have a thin friend who didn't even start showing til she was into her 7th month. So whether you are big, as I am, or small like her. Every person is differnt :) Take Care!! Momaem -

Friday, 25 Jan Hey! I just read your post on the Plus Size Issue, I am 31 weeks and I am barely showing myself so don't worry about it! I saw an old employer at the mall the other day and she asked where my belly was and about 2 weeks ago the nurse at the hosptial did the same thing, it's ok, dont worry about it! :) dreambaby16 -
Friday, 11 Jan Hey I'm Jennifer in SD too. Congrats on your pregnancy. This is a tough decision and one that great thought should go in to. There must be counselors in this field that could help you make the decision once it is time. I don't think kids need to know everything, if it would hurt them in any way, the bottom line if you're the mama, but I them finding out on their own would not be good either. You obviously have time, so I would pray about it...Good luck! mama40 -
Thursday, 10 Jan Hi, congratulations on your pregnancy. I think diferent people would give your different opinion on whether to tell or not to tell. I say - wait and see. You sure wouldn't discuss this matter with 1 or even 2 years old, right? You'll wait until he/she grows up a bit to at least start thinking what the heck those 'eggs' are. To a small child the mother - is the one who carried him in her belly - this simple. He/she came from your belly - you are his/her mom. And when she/he grows, yu'll see what his/her personality is, and whether or not you are comfortable with discussing this. Until then, relax and enjoy your pregnancy. sonyasfirstbaby -
Wednesday, 2 Jan YOur just like me! I'm at work right now...have my granny sweater wrapped around me....freeeezing! But tonight i'll go to bed and wake up in a sweat. Very strange. JenniferSD -
Tuesday, 1 Jan Happy New Years!!!
I was glad to hear that someone else was having hot flashes. I am cold all day long and then when I go to bed I wake up in the middle of the night sweating (even though I have the heat turned down to about 66).
I too having been having terrible 'morning sickness' this week. It was never too bad but this week has been the worst.
