Hello ladies!
Finally came home yesterday and hardly slept! Haven't turned on my computer yet to upload photos or story but thinking of you all!

Jacob keeps me busy with diaper, feeding and just watching him! I could watch him sleep for hours. He is very good, calm natured and has the biggest eyes that just look into my soul when I feed him or he's awake and just stares at me.

I am however having a lot of frustrations breast feeding. He makes such a fuss hitting my boobs, pushing away, sucking then pulling off.... Finally had to give in to using a pump tonight cause boobs were so full and he would not latch......he can and has before, but has always been so fussy.
I lost my nipple shield in my bags, but I think he is lazy and just won't put out the effort to make my nipples hard!
Anyway, just finished feeding, 530am. Time for sleep.

Thanks for comments. I am having so much pain from c section its making everything less enjoyable.

Its a flaming burning sesastion across scar and can barley tolerate to use washrooms. Took morphine at 12 and no change. Is this normal? Anyone have any tips to get through it?

Hey Ladies! I have posted some new pics of Jack and sorted them so they are located on front pic page. He is 12 days old today. Breastfeeding is getting a little better. I still have to supplement as he's my lil hungry hippo. He goes for his casting on Friday. This is starting to upset me. I wish he didn't need this but I know in the long run it will be whats best. I have to count my blessings that everything else about him is perfect! I can't get enough of holding him, kissing him, breastfeeding is so beautiful too. We lie in bed and fall asleep sometimes while he's still latched on. Truly heavenly! God bless all you ladies and your babies!

So I'm in labour! Had what I thought were braxton Hicks last night, but started being painful, and didn't stop.

I started timing them and they kept coming about every 3 or 7 or 15 min, but by 5 am they were every 7 min.
I was also pooping nearly every time too!
So, I called hospital and appologized for worrying but wanted to know what to do.

Since I have my apt today anyway they said to come in.
So I showered and got things together.

Of course DH had had friends over and was a bit hung over, and he misplaced our keys!!!

So I called my best friend, and she came over, woke up DH and off we went!

Got to hospital around 10am.
Nurse did stress test. Was cool to see the numbers go from 5 to 50 with each contraction. After reviewing my print out, nurse shoved her hands up my woo hoo and confirmed I'm 2cm.

Said I was here a bit early and could leave and come back, but since we live 45min away we are staying here hanging out in cafeteria.
Ill go back at 2 for another check in!

I got upset today when I showed my belly photos to a friend of ours. He looked at them and said I should photo shop my appendix scar out! What do you think? DH said we should have it in the photos BC it happened when I was pregnant and because of that scar both baby and I are here today. Its like a symbol of this pregnancy.

I know its not attractive, but its part of my story. What would you do? We are ordering some prints and I want to have nice photos. I feel a bit self conscious now.
