I'm Jo from the UK my partner is from Tobago and we are expecting our first baby due on 6th August 2008. We are so excited and can't wait to meet him..... After a bit of a traumatic start at about 10 weeks with a little bleeding and lots of anxiety we were lucky all was ok and we're now in the last trimester of this pregnancy and time is flying.... I'm 36 and went for a Nuchal scan at 11 weeks and went from a 1 in 188 risk to 1 in 3700 with the blood test and scan so this was a wonderful result for us. 6th March 2008

Feeling great but i'm guessing that i'm growing this week as I feel lots of aches and pains in the evening and the morning. I've put on 14 lbs now but guessing that is OK as i've read 10 - 13 lbs is normal at this stage - hell what's normal anyway. Enjoying the sunshine here in Tobago with my partner Andell and dreading going back to the UK at the beginning of April, but excited as i'm going for all my scans, tests etc etc, so going to miss Tobago, but guess the UK just wins in terms of the health care. Looking forward to not being so tired used to stay up really late and love going out in the evenings, right now i'm lucky if I can keep my eyes open after 9pm.

Decided to keep a small diary about how i'm feeling during my pregnancy. Well tired all the time still lucky no sickness at all. Enjoying being in the sunshine in Tobago with my partner enjoying the first few months of this pregnancy before I have to return home to the UK for more scans etc etc. I've noticed that my stomach has become harder over the next few days. Don't seem to be putting on more weight right now other than the 10 lbs which I think are really down to giving up smoking and Christmas rather than baby weight!
