I'm Jo from the UK my partner is from Tobago and we are expecting our first baby due on 6th August 2008. We are so excited and can't wait to meet him.....

After a bit of a traumatic start at about 10 weeks with a little bleeding and lots of anxiety we were lucky all was ok and we're now in the last trimester of this pregnancy and time is flying....

I'm 36 and went for a Nuchal scan at 11 weeks and went from a 1 in 188 risk to 1 in 3700 with the blood test and scan so this was a wonderful result for us.

6th March 2008

Feeling great but i'm guessing that i'm growing this week as I feel lots of aches and pains in the evening and the morning. I've put on 14 lbs now but guessing that is OK as i've read 10 - 13 lbs is normal at this stage - hell what's normal anyway. Enjoying the sunshine here in Tobago with my partner Andell and dreading going back to the UK at the beginning of April, but excited as i'm going for all my scans, tests etc etc, so going to miss Tobago, but guess the UK just wins in terms of the health care. Looking forward to not being so tired used to stay up really late and love going out in the evenings, right now i'm lucky if I can keep my eyes open after 9pm.

19th February 2008

Decided to keep a small diary about how i'm feeling during my pregnancy. Well tired all the time still lucky no sickness at all. Enjoying being in the sunshine in Tobago with my partner enjoying the first few months of this pregnancy before I have to return home to the UK for more scans etc etc. I've noticed that my stomach has become harder over the next few days. Don't seem to be putting on more weight right now other than the 10 lbs which I think are really down to giving up smoking and Christmas rather than baby weight!

My back starts hurting about 4 pm onwards then calms down by morning, maybe your tens will work for you. I never suffered with it before, maybe its cos my placenta is at the front.

Besides paracetamol, is there a physiotherapist that you can see? I know in our NHS pregnancy book there is a list of phone numbers in the front and one is a physiotherapist that is covered by the NHS. Also in our hospital NHS antenatal classes we do one hour of physio every week where they show us exercises and such to relieve back/hip pain, etc.

My friend has found great relief by wearing a pregnancy belt/ girdle. It helps stabilise all the flexible joints. Could be worth a try.

i hate it when that happens with the bath it really upsets me lol coz then i have to get in the elecy shower n that bathroom scares me coz its where teh spider lives

andy came over n was NICE he was REALLY nice it was very VERY odd.
but im not complaning coz i got my cuddle n it was a really big snuggly cuddle n i wanted more but i didnt do anything i just said he was gay

he even looked at the 3d pics i put in the frame n he said it was blurry but cute n said it looked like him
haha thank god he realised then got upset that he wasnt there for it lol xxx

I know its freaky isnt it! I love being pregnant now, I love actually having a bump and feeling the baby moving. The movements are starting to get so strong they hurt sometimes!
Thats good that he's going to be coming over soon, will he be here for the birth?
I really like Scarlett and Lilly..their quite nice together aswell..scarlett lilly. I really like Ruby too though, will just have to wait and see what it is first! Everyone has said it looks like a boy, but I really think it might be a girl!

I cant believe how amazing the scan was, I cant wait to show Abby (my little girl) the dvd, she might actually believe that theres a baby in there!
wow your in week 30 now..on the home stretch! I cant wait to get to that point. I am starting to really enjoy being pregnant now though, have really bonded with the baby.
My one keeps lying on my bladder too! Only started doing it a couple of days ago but its really annoying!
Hows things with your OH?
I think it might be a little girl too..looks alot like Abby when she was born. Still, only 88 days till I find out!

oh my goodness the house was lovley
its got baby safe fittings all over the place too coz the current tenants ave a baby n the landlord put them in for them
its LOVELY and tis �425 a month which in warrington is really good!
its only a short walk to town/church/hospitl/doctors/my mums/his mums lol which is really good its got private parking round the back of the house:D and a lovely back garden. no grass like but its nice and tidy n pretty the flags are like piosher version of crazy paving its dead dead nice dad n me are gonna put down my name for it on monday but the current tenants aint leaving till july which is perfect coz thats when i wanted to be moving start of july to middle of july as it will work out cheaper:D:D

cant wait for nancy tonight (and docotor who!!!) i REALLY hope jessie isnt nancy i HATE her her curly little mouth just irritates me! lol xxxxx

Hi, well ive just washed the bra i had with shanae n its a 36d, cant believe i got that big lol, im in a 34c at min so i suppose i bought a size bigger cos remember you have to fit those breast pads in cos you leak loads of milk.
Its boiling here, n i feel big today.
We're having curry tonigh but from takeaway, its the only night i dont cook, im gonna have sheek kebab n chicken shashlik, with abit of scott mushroom rice, oooh! i cant wait, also im gonna have a larger shandy (half). Have you had any alchohol at all? xxx

Morning babe, yeh it was horrible. I just didnt know what to do with, she went like a ragdoll, floppy, blue, i just kept shouting my mum. It frightened me sooo much. I keep giving her big cuddles lol.
Yeh i was playing with my pram when i got it, i need a car seat, the one to match my pram is �110 n im not paying that, their only in it 4-5 mths.
Ive just bought maternity pj's n 2 nighties off ebay. Pj's are a pink vest, the sleeve detatch to feed n bottoms are 3/4 length in white, really pretty. The nighties are thin straps that will stretch over arm to feed n knee length, think i'll wear 1 when giving birth n pack pj's n other nightie. You ought to look, very cheap. God i sound a right cheapskate

. Watching nursing bra's too he he thier so dear in mothercare.
