Hi there,

I work for a television production company based in the UK . We are currently making a documentary for ITV1 exploring the issues surrounding pregnancy and eating disorders. The film will be a thoughtful and insightful look into this extremely sensitive subject.

We’re in the research stage of our production and very keen to chat to women who are, or have been, pregnant whilst having an eating disorder.

Hey I just read your post, My plug did exactly the same, on the Sun night I lost a big bit, the same as the piccie, then 2 hours later I lost an even bigger bit. I then went on to lose 2 bits every day over the Mon and Tues. I assumed that the plug would look exactly like the picture and was shocked when I had 6 of them all bigger LOL. Dont worry its perfectley normal and a sign that things are moving along. I thought I'd be in labour already by now, but no such luck. Hope things move a little faster for you, and at least it means your babys starting to get things moving.

I always lose mine over weeks (like 3) before I deliver. My OB says it replenishes itself until you go into full on labor. For me when I see some blood with it I'm within a day of delivering. Everyone is different. You sound normal though. (:

I would no t push during contractions if you are not fully dialated. You can actually slow things down by doing this. You can make the cervix swell and not dialate anymore if you are not ready to push. Make sure ask doctor first because I know this is not suppose to be done during contraction.
