Hi

My names Kim. I'm 21 and live in Nottingham, England. I am in my second pregnancy, The 1st one was when i was about 17 however I had a miscarriage at 6 weeks so this has been some wot of a lil miracal so far. I suffer from PCOS and was told @ 18 that there would be no chance of me conceiving for children natutally again and that my only hope would be IVF but thats not even guarunteed, when i was a lil older. It devasted me to be honest even though i was still only young i did want children when i was older. With PCOS i put on 7 stone in just over a yr and my periods stopped, I eventually saw a pic of me that looked awful and decided i had to lose the wieight. I lost just over 6 stone and last yr my periods came back. Even after all that I was still told I would need IVF if i wanted children so i just started to accept this. Then on 20th september I found out I had defied odds against me and that i was pregant. I was worried at 1st as i've already had one miscarriage and didnt want it to happen again. So far its not been a paticularly straight forward pregnancy, allthough i've not really had much m/s only been sick twice just mainly felt nautious, I've had 3 bleeds and each time I was worried that that would be it my baby was dead. Luckily he/she is a lil fighter and after 3 scans is shown to be fit and well and fighting.

Congratulations to my best friend Claire on the Birth of her baby Daughter Danni who was born at 9.35am today (23rd April 2008) weighing 5lb 15oz. She was born 2 and half weeks early!
