Message to all This may be interesting to some of you. Seema`s email is seema.modhvadia@rdftelevision.com

Hi there,

I work for a television production company based in the UK . We are currently making a documentary for ITV1 exploring the issues surrounding pregnancy and eating disorders. The film will be a thoughtful and insightful look into this extremely sensitive subject.

We’re in the research stage of our production and very keen to chat to women who are, or have been, pregnant whilst having an eating disorder.

If you’re interested in having a chat or finding out more about our documentary, it would be really great to hear from you. All communication would be in complete confidence.

You can contact me on: seema.modhvadia@rdftelevision.com

Sx

Hi Jules. My doc never estimated the weight of my baby... the only thing he told me was that it was highly likely given my height and my husband's that he would be over 8 pounds. Cheers xx

Hi! We have the same due date too!! Well, I do think she is big! And most sites state the average weight at 31 weeks at about 3.2 lbs! My doc said she was big, but still within the normal range, so I'm not worried. Not long now 'til we get to meet our babies! I can't wait!

Congrates!!! I know you are getting a lot of advise on diapers but, the best thing to do is keep all diapers until you NEED a bigger size. My little girl was 6lbs 11oz when she was born and now is 8lbs 8oz at 4 weeks and she is still in NB. I tried size 1 and they are WAY to big!!! I still have 10 packages of NB diapers. I know I'll never use that many but, will keep them until she is in a size 1.

Jules, my boy is 12 days old and about to finish the second packet of NB diapers. We will buy another one before going size 1. He was born 8 pounds 4 ounces, so not a small baby. The brand is Huggies if that helps.

About the NB diapers, I recieved 5 packs of them at my baby shower. Everyone thought that I was going to have a big baby, so everyone bought size 1 diapers. When I had her She weighed 5 lbs. 8 oz. and ended up having to go buy preemie diapers, so she is going to be in NB diapers for a little while. It all just depends on how big your baby is and how fast he/she grows. If I were you I would keep them and then later exchange them if you have too.

About the NB diapers...I wasn't even going to buy newborn diapers, but someone told me to get some. Well my daughter was born at 8lbs 7oz. She is almost a month old now and 9lbs 8oz and still wearing her newborn diapers. I would say keep the diapers for now. You can always exchange them later if you don't need them, but I think you will use them all :)

My baby is almost 5 weeks old and she is still in NB diapers. NB go up to 10 lbs and she is 9lbs 2oz so she is still in them. I am sure every baby is different because I actually had to put her in preemie diapers when she was born and she weighed 7lbs 3oz because the NB diapers were too big for her then.
