So we got a dopplar. I thought I was hearing the babies heartbeat and it ended up being an echo of mine! I am going to keep trying!! I am just 11 weks so it is still kind of early!

I had my Drs appointment today! Everything looks good. I got to hear the babies heartbeat. It was beating 168-173 beats per minute. It was the most amazing sound I have ever heard it brought a tear to my eye!

The best thing happened. I was laying in bed abd I felt something pushing against my stomach. I got out the doppler we have at home and put it right on that spot and there is was the loudest most beautiful heart beat! I think baby got mad at me though because after awile I could not find it!

Another Drs appointment. Everything is Fine! We heard the baby's heart beat again going nice and strong. It was a little bit slower then last time it was beating 149-150 bpm! (taking a nap?) Next appointment August 31. We find out the sex than too!!!!

We had to go to the ER today because I had a sudden gush of fluid. Everything is fine. They did an ultra sound to make sure and we found out we are having a little BOY!!!!! I am very excited!!!! Jeffrey Richard Holmes should be making his entrance into this world the end of January!!!!

My 18 week check up. Everything is going good. We heard his heartbeat. It was beating 143 bpm. He asked if I wanted the down symdrome test done and I said no. I knoe so many people that have had then and it has come back that somethng is wrong with their child they spend the rest of the pregnancy worrying then the baby comes out fine. So, I leave it in Gods hand. If God blesses me with a child with a disorder it was ment to be and I will love my little guy no less! I go for an ultra sound on Wed.

Had my checkup today everything looks good. My little guys heart was beating 160 bpm! I think he was running or something! The only down side was I gained 9 lbs ouch! I am up to 19 so far!

I just came back from my checkup. I only gained 1/2 pound! I gained 19.5 so far! Everything looked good my little mans heartbeat kept going between 141-143 beats per minute! Next check up is the day before Thanksgiving.

I just got the results from my gluclose test today! I failed. My results were 156. I have to go for the 3 hour test on November 8. (Hopefully everything will be fine).

I had my 3 hour gluclose test today! It was horrible, I had to wait there for three hours she said we should have the results that day so we will see!

Still no word from my Dr about my gluclose test that I had almost a week ago. I am guessing no news is good news! I have my baby shower this Sat. I am excited. Hopefully I will get everything I need!

I had my baby shower last Saturday and got such wonderful things! I had my Drs appoointment yesterday. I gained 32 lbs so far. Dr said everything is great! He said my belly is measuring right where it should be! And, my 3 hour gluclose test came back fine! Next appointment is December 5!

I was shopping with my hubby today. We were in the checkout line at Old Navy and all of a sudden I felt like I was going to pass out. I turned to my hubby and asked him to hold me because I was going to faint next thing I knew I am on the ground with people standing all around me. I passed out. I had get taken to the ER by ambulance to make sure everything is Ok. All the test came back fine and they did an ultrasound to make sure my baby boy was OK and he was fine. They found out I was dehydrated and that is the reason I passed out! It was awful!

I had my Dr appoinment today. The Dr could not find his heartbeat at first. I was not freaking out thought because I could feel and see him moving. The Dr started laughing because he was running away from the Dopplar. When he finally found him it was beating 163-164 BPM! All because he was running from the Dopplar. I have been feeling him move a lot and I love it! I cannot wait to see him! Next appointment December 18, 2007

Just came back from my Drs appointment. everything is going good. He was not concerned about losing my mucus plug, he said I am still closed up and the baby is doing well. His heartbeat was 133bpm alot lower this time. I think he was sleeping! Next appointment is January 2 and than after that it is every week! Getting close!

I had my Drs appointment today. Everything looks good. His heart was beating 123bpm It kind of freaked me out but the Dr said that is normal. He said he could be sleeping. I had to sign papers for the hospital, and get the gbs test to make sure I am not a carrier. Next appointment is next Wed!

Another Drs appointment and NOTHING! I think this baby wants to stay in me forever. His head was down which is a good thing but it is still high up, and I am still closed up. My blood pressure was high so he sent me to L&D. They hooked me and baby up to moniters. Took my blood pressure every 15 min, and did some blood work. Sure enough my blood pressure was 100% fine and my blood came back mormal so they unhooked me and sent me home! I am beginning to thin k he likes it inside of me!

Just got back from the DRs. Everything is fine and finally some progress! I am thinned out and a fingertip dialated! I am so excited I cannot wait to finally meet him! I love him so much already!

June 25, 2007 We had out first ultrasound a week ago today. I thought I was farther along then the ultra sound told us. But everything looked good so that is all that matters. We saw the yolk sac, the fetal pole, and the heart beat. the heart beat was 150 times a minute. It was so amazing to see the little heart going so fast. Everyday I cannot believe that there is a little life forming inside of me. It is such an amazing feeling! Next Drs appointment is July 9th!! | |

okay mamas sorry this took long, well few days after romans 1st birthday he got a cold which mutated to pneumonia and bronchitis. he was not breathing at one time and then he was having shortness of breath, anyways we rushed to er and was admitted straight away, he was on oxygen, pulse monitoring due to dipping of oxygen in his blood, iv antibiotics inhaltion therapy with a nebulizer. was scared to death when i looked at him. but left all in God's hands and with faith he delivered my babyboy out of harms way, we are back home now, roman is eating well, drinking well and sleeps fine, we are still doing the nebulizer inhalation therapy. so to make it short lil man is back to his bad self and i love it all.

hey hey hey mamas and babies and mamas to be!!!! howdy doo all!!! hope you are all well, and happy babies and sleepy heads at nite., well as some of you already know iam heading out to africa next friday to visit me mom. and i may get on rarely when i get the damn net. but if not then you all have a great remainder of summer, i have to pack the suitcases on sunday and the kids started their malaria meds today, and again every week for almost 8 wks, poor lil roman he made the most sour face i ever seen on a baby when he tatsed the meds, they are bitter and most kids dont take it too well but my boys downed the stuff well enuff after a heavy dinner. i start mine 2 days before we leave. so mamas wish us luck we come back safe and disease free( we better after all them damn shots me and the boys have taken) shit better work!!! iam gonna miss ya all my cyber babies and their babies. we will be back on the 13th august and Godwilling if we are still alive we will holla at ya all that week and post some pics. goodluck to all of you in all of your endevours. you all know who you all are, okay rommy rome is out. romma - Sunday, 22 June
