HEY EVERYONE!!!!

My name is Kim and this is my first baby!!! I am so excited. I am due August 4, 2008. I have chosen to wait until the baby is born to find out the sex which I think just might be the hardest thing for me...this was my boyfriends decission!!! I can't wait until I get to the "great" part of pregnancy..no more nausea and vomiting and being soooo tired!!! Congrats to all the other mothers out there!!!

I NEVER THOUGHT I COULD BE SO IN LOVE WITH MY BABY!!!! I AM SO EXCITED BECAUSE HE OR SHE IS STARTING TO MOVE AND I CAN `T WAIT FOR THE DAY WHEN I CAN FEEL THAT ALL THE TIME!!! DADDY IS STARTING TO GET SUPER EXCITED TO WHICH IS GREAT BECAUSE IT MAKES THIS WHOLE EXPRIENCE EVEN BETTER...HOPE EVERYONE ELSE IS DOING GOOD!!!

So 20 weeks and 1 day I am so happy!!! Half way done!! I am starting to feel the baby more and more but still not from the outside which kinda sucks because I want daddy to feel what I feel! He says not to rush things it will happen eventually. Going to buy a bathing suit tomorrow... no more cute bikinis!!!!

I am so excited...I finally felt my baby move from the outside this morning. I woke up at about 4:30am to a ton of kicking and I layed my hand on my belly and felt it...I woke daddy up out of a dead sleep so he could feel and he was so excited that he finally got to feel what I have been feeling for weeks!!! I love that he was so thrilled!!! I can't wait until I can watch him or her move around in my belly!!!

In regards to your posting about losing a family member during pregnancy. My husband's grandfather passed away during my first pregnancy. He was such a sweet and gentle man. He always made me feel like I was his granddaugther. I was glad that he knew he was having a new great grandson. He was very excited to know that he was going to have someone carry on the family name. I had lost my grandmother years before I had my son but I knew she was always with me. I wished all the time they both got to see my son. I had some tell me that they did see him they just saw him first before me. That gave me great comfort. I hope this helps.

I read your comment in the weight page I am 31 weeks and I gained 50lbs and I have another appointment on Wednesday and god only knows what I have gained. My doctor told me at this point dont worry about it but another doctor said he should put me on a diet and also keep a journal. I told him that is not going to happen I am sad that I gained all this weight by I am at a piont where I will not diet. I have tried to just think about what I am eating before I eat it but you should enjoy yourself and you are young eonugh were you can work it off. Dont worry you will lose the weight dont be sad

my mother past when my sister still had around two months to go in her pregnancy. she did start to spot a little so they kept her over night at the hospital but she was fine in fact her daughter came at full term.

That sounds exactly like what is going on with me too, Im just eating tooo much crap! I know better but its so hard when I never feel satisfied from food! I got back to the gym this week so hopefully this helps :)

8 lb in 18 weeks is way better then me, Im 10 weeks behind that and have put on abut that same amount of weight. I Really gota get a grip of it!

Hi. I was just reading your comment. When I was 29 weeks and a few days, I went to the hospital because my baby girl wasn't moving a lot. They monitored her for a while and sent me saying that she was fine. My baby girl died 4 days later and I had to deliver her still born. when she was born, we realized that her umbilical cord was wrapper around her neck very tightly TWICE. So if your baby continues not to move about 4 to 6 times a hour, go back to the hospital. Even if the babys okay, you'll have peace of mind! Good luck.

I have read that there hasn't been much testing on spray tans and pregnant woman. They say there is no evidence that is harmful to your baby. They also say just to be safe not to get them. I say it's up to you. I know that the mixture is mostly made of sugar cane so I guess mommy knows best! Good luck

Yeah I wish I could help him out every once in a blue moon. I too have gained alot of the weight in my ass and thighs for sure. Up top is just a big belly and everything else is the same, but down below the belt is where all my weight has gone for sure. Not to pretty. But I will work that off after baby comes. :)

kimkim, about sex life. For me it works if on weekends I get in the bath with my man and kind of start slowly. You know, just fool around, giving each other massage, using hands and mouth etc and with all that warm water around, and without the need to wake up early next morning, it is much easier to get in the mood. If your bathtub is small, try shower. Or just giving each other massage on the bed. I know how hard it is to be sexy when pregnant. It is harder for me every week. But it is possible to find a way to enjoy it. Just need to try different things and see what works.

That is so funny what you said about people staring! Its true! We hang out with a couple who is married and he wants her to get pregnant but she's not ready, so he would call and ask my husband if he could bring his wife over to see how I look! It was funny! By the way congrats!

Hey! I too, have been getting the hot flashes and light headedness..it is sort of scary. I've been dealing with the hot flashes for a while now, even waking up in the middle of the night just sweating..its only April, and I've had my air conditioner going for about a month or so now..lol..it's crazy. But Sat. I was sitting in a recliner with my boyfriend, and all of a sudden, the room just started spinning..I was so dizzy..it went away after about 5 minutes..I'm gonna check with my doc next week..good luck..

your doctor talks about baby bottles made from hard plastic containing bisphenol A. If you want more info, just goggle it using key word bisphenol A and plastic. The thing it has pseudo-estrogenic effect and some aimal studies showed it can cause cancers. Also there is evidence that bisphenol A can leak from plastic to liquid, although not much. To be safe - use glass or those bottles that says no BSA on them.

I had those in the 1st trimester and early 2nd to the point where I thought I was going to literally faint. I had to crouch down to the floor at work in order to cool off...good luck hun!
