We have been married for 4 years this May!! It is finally time to add to our happy family!

Is this your first pregnancy: No.... In the last year I have had 2 miscarriages. Both around 6-7 weeks. I am almost 22 weeks now and we are extremely excited!!

When did you find out you were pregnant: New Year's day!!

Was it planned: Absolutely
What was your first reaction: SHOCKED! I had taken a test a couple days prior that came up negative. We couldnt believe it!

Who was with you when you found out: I was alone, but quickly ran into the bedroom to show my husband the stick

Who was the first person you told: my husband... of course!

How did your parents react: Excited but at the same time worried due to the previous miscarriages.

How far along are you: 15 weeks
What was your first symptom: I really dont remember. My body was playing tricks on me! But, i would say swollen boobs.
What is your due date: September 9. 2008

Do you know the sex of the baby: A BOY!!!

Have you picked out names: Boy - Owen Michael

How much weight have you gained: 10 pounds

Do you have stretch marks: I am started to get them on my boobs.

Have you felt the baby move: YES!!!

Have you heard the heartbeat: Yes!!! 151 bpm

Natural or medicated birth: I am really going to try natural. But, you never know!
Who will be in the delivery room with you: My mom, mother-in-law and husband

Honestly I wouldn't waste any money on a swing. We got one it was $175 and it broke after a year. It is sitting in our garage. Maddy hardly used it. Go with the new diaper champ instead of the diaper genie. We had the diaper genie and we're getting the champ this time.

you don`t have to have one, you can go overdue. if you want to know your rights tehn they are on the homebirth site ,same whether you are giving birth in hospital or at home, there is time for him to move tho,,i don`t worry myself especially at this stage, more than likely he`ll move head down in hte weeks leading to the birth andyou`d have worriedfor nothing..like we do.lol...

oh i wouldn`t want a c section but then i can understand you wanting one and being able to pick teh date...can`t be bad..lol.. i am so quick myself that i don`t mind the normal labour but if i thought he was breech i would have to really think about my other options...lol.. don`t know if i fancy breech birth incase shoulders or head get stuck...ouch......

Congratulations on Owen's good health - that is great news

I'm not sure about whether the percentiles remain consistent throughout the life of a person. My son was born in 90th percentile, then he went down quite a bit as my milk did not come in properly, then he went back up to 90+ percentile, where I think he remains today. That being said, I have no idea what percentile my baby I am pregnant with now is in - I know they grow a lot over the next 6 weeks, so things could well change. Cheers, Jackie

hi there i have been breech with all my babies and never had them try to turn the baby tehy say on all fours can help but the baby can move back too, my baby is lying across again,he moves all the time still...lol.. but they all were head down when needed to be,..lol i owuldn`t worry about it too much ..i don`t .. if you do have it turned there is a chance he will move back to whichever position he is more comfy in so don`t think that he`ll definatly stay in the new position,,thats if it works too.. good luck..

Hi there, my Dr also found a cyst on my little girls brian. I was scared to death but after all the research I have done I feel a little better. They say if there is no other indicator of a problem then there is nothing to worry about (eaiser said then done). I decided not to have an amnio, I didnt want to put her at any unnessasary risk.

I've heard so many bad things about amnio's being performed. They give so many false positives and I've had a few friends who have lost their babies due to the amnio's and there was NOTHING wrong with the babies. I'm sorry if this comes across as harsh, please be careful :)

About the cyst...I was a baby born with it too and it's never been a problem for me. It is still there, but it does no harm. My doctors all told me it was really common as well. Hope that makes you feel a little better at least. :)

Hi there, I'm sorry I can't even imagine what you and your husband are going through. *Hugs*. You all will be in my prayers.

I did some research and I found a site that may offer some help. I've always found that information from people who have gone though similar things always helped me in the past.

Did the doctors get this information from doing an amnio/U/S or by doing a blood test and U/S?

Please let me know if you have had an amnio.

Hi, don't worry!! My baby girl has two cysts on her brain, one on either side, and I was worried for a minute but the more I learn about it, the more I know we have nothing to worry about. I know I am not a doctor, but I did want to write you to help alleviate your fears. They are common, and they do go away. They dont affect the baby's development at all. I know the unknown is scary, but if everything else is checking out great, then dont worry. Let me know if I can help/listen. :)
