I've not been on here in a while. Just been low about stuff. Bit happier now. I had a 12wk scan and the bleeding had been re-absorbed. So I am well chuffed.

I'm now 16 weeks gone and got my 20 week scan in two weeks when I'm 18 weeks lol.

Also genderscan is booked for 27th March!!!





March 14th

10 days until my 20 week scan
13 Days until my Gender scan!

I feel quite... weird today. Seems to be dragging to my gender scan. I think once I can get that done I'll be happier as I can finally buy pink or blue and start preparing for the baby.

10 Days until Gender scan!!!!

I can't wait. It's still dragging slightly.

I know I have my heart set on a girl. but as I have said to a friend on here, a baby is a blessing whichever gender is. And it's true. There are people who can't have children, or go through many IVF attempts with disappointment. I know it took me 19mths to fall pregnant again and that was agonising.
This is my last child, due to my eyes I can't risk to keep stopping treatment, which is why i'd love one of each, but everything happens for a reason.

I can safely say, even if it's a boy, my credit card will be getting a bashing.


24th March 2008


I had my 20 week scan today (But only 18 weeks). I have to go back on the 11th April to get scanned again as she couldn't see a few things very clearly as I was a bit before they usually scan. But she said all looks fine.


3 Days to go until gender scan.


March 27th

Well today is the day I get to find out what my little bean is. There is mixed emotions of course. I am kinda settled on a little girl, but of course being pregnant is a blessing in the first place, and isn't the babies fault. I know I'll be overwhelmed whatever gender it is.

So watch this space!

March 27th - continued

Well, I'm just back from my private gender scan. Slightly aprehensive because they couldn't tell me for sure what sex it was. But the percentage is 75% girl. The only reason I am slightly worried is because I have to go back for another scan. I think if she left it at that I'd of believed it was a girl and left it to it.
She said she didn't see any boy bits, but just wants to be... well 99% sure because they say it's never 100%.
It must be a girl, it's being modest and camera shy so far.



March 30th 2008

I'm feeling bubs kicking alot now. Good few movements a day. Not strong enough to feel on the outside, but I feel it. And I love it, I've missed this feeling since I had my son.

Well I last updated 30 days ago, so thought it time to do so. All has been fine except them having problems checking her heart. They say it's because she's lying funny. I hope it is. Other than that I'm dandy. Just bored lol. 23 weeks... hmmmm wish I could just sleep until August. I want her now!!!
