7 weeks pregnant-Well one week from today is our first OB appointment. I can `t wait... I feel like it is taking forever. I am happy and healthy and overall can `t complain. I found out we were expecting about 2 weeks ago. I have been exhausted for the past 4-5 weeks at least. I have nausea on and off but I have been lucky so far. I pray everything continues to go well. I will provide an update once we go to the doctor on 3/24. Yeah... I can `t wait. 
Tuesday, 25 Mar
We had our first appt and ultrasound today and there is definitely a little baby (coffee bean) in there (ha ha). Daddy says `he loves his coffee bean ` (he is so cute). Based on our ultrasound the Doctor thinks I `m about 7 weeks and a few days rather then 8 weeks. I will have another ultrasound in 2 weeks to confirm the due date of November 10th. Oh ya, we are only having 1 baby, thank goodness because I don `t think I could handle more than that. We also got to hear the heartbeat which was 127 beats per minute (healthy per the dr). That was the most awesome part to me to think something that small has a heart that is SO strong and healthy is amazing to me.Hope your doing well.. I will update again in a couple weeks.
April 8th, 2008
Well today I had another ultrasound appt to confirm my due date. I am 9 weeks 1 day so my due date is definetly November 10th. The babies heart rate has increased to 150 bpm so that was exciting. I was told that was completely normal so that is great news. I was shocked she was able to find the heart beat and see the baby so well without doing a vaginal ultrasound but that was a great suprise (ha ha), except for the full bladder. Overall I guess I am doing well. I have allot of nausea and stress definetly makes it worse. I am starting to wake up with nausea at night now which is a bummer. Night was the only time I was free of nausea now its on/off through out the day and night. Some days are definetly better than others. Hopefully the morning sickness goes away after 13 weeks. I am crossing my fingers. I will check back soon. =)
April 28th, 2008- 12 weeks
May 31st, 2008 (17 weeks, 5 days)
I had my follow up OB appt last Weds 5/28 and everything went great. I gained 3 pounds since the last appointment which the doctor seemed to be pleased about. The baby's heart rate was in the 150's...still fast. Everyone tells me that is because it is a Girl but we will see. Our ultrasound appt is scheduled for Tuesday June 3rd so we will finally get to find out if it is a boy or girl (woo hoo).
*Question* Does anyone else got acne on their face, chest and back since they've been pregnant? I do and the doctor says it is normal because of the pregnancy hormones but needless to say it is really annoying. The things we have to deal with when we have a little bundle of joy growing inside of us (hee hee). I will update again next week with some really exciting news (keep your fingers crossed that the baby cooperates).
JUNE 3rd, 2008
Well we found out today that IT'S A GIRL!!!!The whole appt she kept putting her thumb and/or hand in her mouth. She would take it out and put it back in. It was so cute! She was sitting with her little legs tucked under her butt. Her heartrate was 153 beats per minute. Its been pretty consistent at every appointment. It has been in the 150's and 160's. Most of the ultrasound pictures arent clear enough to put up but I thought this one was cute. I hope you enjoy it. We are so EXCITED.
June 20th, 2008
We had a 3D/4D ultrasound this evening and it was sooo amazing. The ultrasound tech measured her to be 20 weeks 4 days so right on track. Her heart rate was in the 150s like it usually is. It was really neat because I could see her moving all around. She is very active but I still dont feel her too much. I feel butterflies and every so often I feel pressure like something is pushing on my belly from the inside but for the most part Im never sure if it is her moving or just gas or something. I got to see her face and in one of the pictures you could see her lips so perfect (they looked like mine, hee hee). She was tucked behind my placenta the u.s. tech said so it was hard to get a clear shot of her whole head. She looked at her private parts and confirmed it is a little girl in there. I wanted to make sure before I go crazy with the pink and ruffles (ha ha).
We invited our moms to go with us since they live in California and we live in Arizona they never get to go to the baby appointments with us. So i set up an appt in California so when we went to visit they would be able to see their grandbaby. I could see her a lot better than I thought I would be able to. I expected her to be really skinny and boney looking at 20 weeks but she looked perfect. I can't wait to see her in person, she is going to bring such joy to our lives. We are thrilled to be having a healthy baby girl. =)

I had a follow up OB appt today and the doctor said our little girl looks great and is the perfect size for how many weeks I am (21 weeks). All the tests came back normal from last appt. I gained 6 pounds since the last appt (4 weeks). Ahh, I was a little freaked out. The doctor laughed at me and said I should gain 15-20 pounds in my second trimester so I am doing good and not to worry. She said the weight gain stops or slows way down in the third trimester. Overall everything is good and my belly grows more every day (ha ha). I better learn to love it because she is just growing more everyday and there isnt much I can do about it. People at work are finally noticing my belly a little more too. Very interesting to watch all these changes before my own eyes.

For the longest time I thought it was girl, even my husband thinks it is a girl. These days I don't know. I had a dream that I gave birth and the doctor yelled "its a boy!" It is funny because I did every gender prediction thing just for fun and everything comes out 50/50 boy/girl. We even did the string and needle test and one day it was girl and the next it was boy. LOL!
I went to a psychic last November (it was a group reading) and she told me I would have a girl and would know by November 2008 (weird huh?!) So now more than ever I just want to know. I really want to buy something for the baby.. up until now I haven't really bought or picked out anything. Let me know what happens with you! I will send and update as soon as I know (:

Hey girl, well I am still very pregnant! lol, only 9 days til my due date, I can't believe it. The doc said yesterday though that he is definetely ready to make his big appearance so she tried stripping my membranes to speed things up. No action yet but she said it could take a couple of days (that is if it works at all) How are you feeling? I'm glad to read that your test results came back good for the baby. Keep me posted girl

wow that hot already? it's only 85 here and I'm ready to die....lol. i know how you feel with the nausea though... i was pretty much sick for the first 3 months. and now it has come back lol on top of heartburn... but it's all worth it when you feel a set of lil feet trying to stretch in a small space...lol. hope it cools down for ya!!

I definitly went through the feeling fat and bloated phase and guess what... i still feel fat... but with a basketball under my shirt lol! But i'm starting to really feel fat like my legs and my butt.... UGH!!! I have been exercising here there but not that much maybe just two-three times a week. But i still dont eat that much i go through my phases. And i totally know what you mean by over doing it. I cleaned my house like cleaned cleaned and i couldnt walk by the time i was done cuz my feet hurt so bad! I had to ice them i was in so much pain. How did you enjoy vegas while being pregnant? Oh and i just took some recent pictures so i'll have to post them in a min.

I’m definitely feeling a lot better than I did a few weeks ago. But I think I overdo it also, plus I’ve been working nights so I sleep a lot and then when I wake up my stomach is empty. So I think that’s where the sickness comes from. Gosh I know the pains are horrible, do you have back pain as well?

I’m starting to feel a lot better, but the past few days I have had morning sickness again. I’ve also been really tired lately and I’ve been having pains in my lower stomach from everything stretching.

So true! I have really been listening to my body well so far but tend to overdo it on my good days too... then I end up paying for it the next couple of days in sleep and fatigue, which probably attributes to nausea as well. I just hate being a big suck or being the "party pooper", lol, and try to keep it up as long as I can until I am totally done! Sometimes I think, if people who already have tons of kids can do it (i.e. have lots of energy to keep going), why can't I? I shouldn't be so hard on myself...

I am doing good! I'm glad to hear all your results came back okay! I went to the doctor and i had gained 6 pounds since last month... LOL!! But my total weight gain so far is 10 lbs. So not too bad! It was crazy to me though because the doctor went over all the symptoms i may have and when or not i should go to the hospital and then after my next apt i start going every two weeks until 36 wks. Its just crazy to hear all this... its going so fast!!!! So fast! I ordered the babies furniture today too. It just doesn't seem real! How are you feeling?

LOL, my bump has grown since and I don't look so sausage-like anymore! So Nov. 3rd is the big day? They say that only 5% of babies are born on their due dates anyway... so who knows, we might end up popping at the exact same time! I am doing great thank you, despite having worsening nausea (I never had it to begin with but am having more and more days feeling sick or having no appetite... it's like I'm on the opposite route of everyone else or something). Otherwise, I LOVE being pregnant; we are just so happy! How are you doing sweetie?

yea i know what you mean about it being comforting. me and 2 of my gf's were all preggo at the same time..i was due in dec, one in jan, and the other in feb. so i was like the guinie pig haha but its ok! i ended up having the nicest room lol kane is doing good. i cant believe he will already be 5 months next week! he is the best thing that has ever happened to me. if you dont mind me asking whos your doc? hope your feeling well!

I forgot that my Dr. gave me a list of stuff to take for indigestion. Other than tums and mylanta, which didn't work for me you can also take maalox,pepcid or emetrol, so those are my next options. Hopefully one of those works. I'll let ya know.
