Zoe had her wretched shots. *sigh* An oral vaccination, and 2 in each thigh. Our poor baby!
She was 13 lbs, 5 oz, and 25 inches long. She's right at the top of the 100% for her age.

Zoe FINALLY rolled all the way over on her own today! Its about time. Zoe is a diva and hates to be on her stomach. She's also discovered a new sound; the best way to explain it is her doing a huge gasp. Its cute when she does it at home, but its not cute in public when it sounds like she's having a freaking asthma attack! She cracks up when she does it, so if she likes it, I love it...

9-28-08
At 4 months of age, Zoe doesn't sleep through the night yet. Like clockwork, she wakes up at 1 am, 3 am, and 6 am, then for good around 7:30 am, JUST to eat. I've tried pumping 4 oz bottles, 6 oz bottles, and even 8 oz bottles to give her before she goes to bed. No matter how much she drinks, she'll still wake up hungry. I can't take it anymore! I read about the mothers who have babies that sleep for 12 hours at night, and I want to be apart of that club! So today, we finally got some Rice Cereal to mix with the milk. We didn't really know how she'd react to it, so to be on the safe side, I pumped a 4 oz bottle, and put a Tablesoon and a half of cereal in it. I hope this works!! *crossing fingers*

9-29-08
The rice cereal didn't work, and Zoe has a cold, thanks to Kam. Lord, give me the strength! My baby can barely breathe out of her nose, and she gets so frustrated when she tries to nurse. She'll be fine during the day, but the real problem occurs when she tries to sleep. I can literally hear the congestion in the back of her nose, and I feel so bad for her! The humidifier doesn't seem to be helping anything. I've been sucking her nose with the bulb, and that doesn't seem to help either. I'm going to try some saline drops in a couple of minutes, hopefully that'll do something. I feel like my breastmilk is no good, since I was under the belief that breastfeed babies rarely get sick. If only she could spit a loogie! I know how nasty it is to spit, but...*sigh*

Dammmmmmmit! My period is here. Its been over a year since I've been down the red river. I must say my period was NOT missed! I need to get some bc, asap! However, the whole idea of breastfeeding and using birth control concerns me...like I have fears; will it make Zoe infertile? I'm already taking thyroid medicine. I'm not looking forward to taking yet another medication that could make its appearance in my breastmilk. There's always condoms...*sucking teeth* Who am I kidding? Asking Kam to wear a condom would be like asking him to put on a pair of stilettos. Men can be so d*mn selfish! We could always go back to using the timing method which surprisingly worked for us, until we slipped up one day which produced Zoe. *insert oxymoron joke here* What if we have another slip up?! I at least wanted to make sure Zoe was potty trained before I became pregnant again...maybe I'm thinking/looking too much into it. But I'm paranoid!!

10-14-08Yesterday I bought my first gurtle and in return, Kam got me my first gym membership. DAMN DAMN DAMN! I thought I was doing big things when I lost all my baby weight within a month without having to work out. However, I'm over here looking like Olive Oil. I weigh 125 lbs, and I have NO muscle definition/tone at all. I have a pooch belly that forces me to suck in my breath when I stand, and when I sit down it resembles a stack of nicely folded blankets. :( Pre pregnancy, I had a nice round booty *tooting my own horn*, but now its like...just...FLABBY! Dare I say...FLAT?! I don't even have any calve muscles!! But I'm not the only one who's guilty; Kam has grown a nice perky set of tits since Zoe's been born. I'll never forget that one day when he was holding her without his shirt on, and she latched on to his nipple. It was pure comedy for me, but pure horror for him. Kam and I are going on a cruise for our 1 year wedding anniversary in April, and we have a bet on who'll have the sexiest body. Dammit I want to win!!

LMFAO!!!!! So how are you feeling girl? Tired of being in the house yet? Its tough when you're breastfeeding because you never know how long you're gonna have to go out by yourself and if you do have the baby, you never know how full she got during the last feeding and when it'll be time for the next one. So lord behold as soon as you walk into the store, she's screaming and starving again. DAMN! DAMN! DAMN!!!! Where is the bathroom so I can feed this hungry a$$ girl before they call child protective services on me? You know what I don't get? When you have a baby, the first thing a person ask you whether they know you or not is, "are you breastfeeding?" You say yes, they are all happy.....But then if you pull out your titty to feed the baby, they talk about cha. WTF! Then if you're not breastfeeding, they look atcha all crazy and wanna call you a bad mom! Soceity girl, I just have to shake my head! Anyways girl, talk to ya later!

lol I know you have been busy.. its okay!!!! But, I have been feeling a little contractions but right now they just feel like menstral cramps.. She isn't really due for another two weeks but I was hoping maybe she would come early, but I am feeling doubtful.. at least my doctor doesn't wait after my due date they will just induce me. How is motherhood going??? And, what are your plans to do with her while you go back to school?

How is little Zoe doing?? She looks soo adorable and shes already growing up so fast and its only been a few weeks.. I am trying to figure out when I am actually going into real labor. My doctor said last week I was 2cm dialated and 50% effaced.. do you think I am close?

LOL awwww I'm sorry to hear that Zoe is up all night! I wonder why babies do that. Now I'm trying to get a feel for when my baby is active and I must say she does a lot of moving at night! LOL. I am kind of prepared. The fact that I am about to have a child still hasn't hit me full force. It might be a good idea to go ahead and pack my hospital bag huh? Well how is married life hun?! It must feel wonderful to be able to call your partner your husband!

You know i used to *67 and when i heard that woman pick up i hung up! If a dad picked up then I spoke. I'm already preparing to be sitting by the phone to catch that fast heffer's call "Hi can i please speak to zachai?", "sorry Miss Poole (because i will be ms. poole soon :-), to call so late but could i please speak to zachai?", why did we think if we were extra polite that it would take away the fact that it was 1am and we possibly woke up a nurse who has to be at work for 5 or 6am? lol Anywyas, yup Zachai has started flirting, i'm keepin a tight eye on him!

Girl, why did you erase everything!!!!!! Oh well, I know your past on here so i'm good! lol...Leave Zoe let her sleep!! I know i know, sometimes i'm like that too, i just want him to be up, but he's been so cranky lately, and has only been taking cat naps, so now i've been trying to get him to sleep!!

Not sure what their gonna do at your 4 week appt. Kamryn had a 2 week appt and a 2 month appt today and she got her immunization shots today. OMG, my baby used vocal cords I didn't know that she had girl. I felt like that nurse was a little rough. You know they see sooo many babies a day they forget to be gentle. Guess its good in a way because she did it real fast and got it over with but I'm like Damn, can you wait! Oh well, glad that's over. I thought I would cry girl, but I just sat there with this huge ball in the bottom of my stomach girl. So sad! So I've been extra extra sweet to my baby today since she had a bad day today

I've been meaning to ask you, how do you pronounce Zoe - is it "Zoe" pronounced the way it looks or its is "Zoe" pronounced like Zo-ey (you know, rhymes with Joey)....I always say it like Zoe (second one) and I was curious if I was pronouncing it correctly. Well anyways, about to write a blog from her appointment today. Oh, she weighed in @ 10 lbs 12oz. she's gained over 4 1/2 pounds. She's getting sooo big girl! She's jumped from the 25th percentile in weight to the 50th percentile - Go Kammy! anyways, that's all on my end - talk to you soon! Oh, how's the sleeping going?
